It is proven that the differential equation which describes the model at least has a nonzero equilibrium. The differential equation has several equilibria when the technological level or the saving rate is not high enough and undergoes bifurcation at some specified parame-ter values. Therefore, the economy described by the model pre-sents multiple growth paths and "Malthusian Poverty Trap" when the technological level or the saving rate is low.展开更多

It is not only obtained the optimal allocation about capital and labor between a goods-producing sector and a R&D Sector, but also the optimal value of saving rates. By discussing the effect of parameters, it are also got the following results: When the rate of time preference (discount factor) rising, the fractions of Capital and labor in the goods-producing sector will increase, the fractions in R&D sector and the saving rates will decrease; When the population grows rapidly, the result will be contrary.展开更多

A twodimensional dynamical system is obtained by solving the utility maximization problem and it is proved that this system has the unique non-zero equilibrium which is a saddle. The model has the unique optimal growth and an optimal rate of infrastructure allocation.展开更多

The results show that reinforcements nucleate and grow in a way of dissolution precipitation. The morphologies of reinforcements are closely related to the solidification paths and crystal structure of reinforcements. TiB, as a reinforcement, is liable to grow along [010] direction and forms in short fibre shape due to its B27 structure, whereas primary TiC is liable to form composition undercooling and grow in dendritic shape. TiC phases precipitated in binary eutectic and ternary eutectic reactions grow in equiaxial shape. The addition of aluminum element refines TiB and TiC particles, and makes TiC reinforcements grow into the equiaxial particles easily. The addition of graphite adjusts the solidification paths and forms more TiC with dendritic shape. [展开更多

The objective of this paper is to discuss effects of the inhomogeneity of mechanical performance on fatigue crack growth (FCG) rate and crack path deviation (CPD). The base metal served in a turbine disk of aerospace engine was selected to fabricate bead-on-plate weldments by using electron beam welding. Some wedge-type opening loading specimens, notched in three different zone of weld metal, HAZ and base metal, were employed and performed fatigue crack growth tests at 650℃. The results show that the fatigue crack growth of electron beam welded joints is instable due to the influence of mechanical heterogeneities. Owing to the crack deviation at the weld metal and heat-affected-zone (HAZ), the effective growth driving force at the tip of fatigue crack was reduced with the reduction of the effective stress intensity factor (SIF) which finally causes fatigue crack rate decrease. Fatigue crack was strongly affected by size and the symmetrical characteristics of the plastic zone at the crack tip, which means that the integrity of the welded structure containing the fatigue crack mainly depended on the toughness of the low strength zone.展开更多
