Effect of self-made exhaust plaster on patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction after gynecological operation

Objective:To explore the effect of self-made exhaust patch(SMEP)on gastrointestinal dysfunction after gynecological operation.Methods:A total of 200 patients with gynecological operation in the gynecological ward of Shandong Changle People's Hospital were randomly divided into the control group(n=100)and the treatment group(n=100).The recovery time of bowel sounds,the time of first anal exhaust,the duration of abdominal distention,the duration of abdominal pain,the incidence of abdominal distention and abdominal pain and linical efficacy of SMEP were observed.Results:Compared with the control group,the recovery time of gastrointestinal function and the first anal exhaust time in the treatment group were shorter;the duration of abdominal distention and abdominal pain in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05);Cure rate of abdominal distention in the treatment is 62.5%and cure rate of abdominal pain in the treatment is 60%within 72 hours after operation,which is higher than that in the control group(44.%,45.9%).Conclusion:The results showed that the self-made exhaust patch can improve the clinical symptoms of patients after gynecological abdominal surgery,and the self-made exhaust patch had a significant effect on gastrointestinal dysfunction after gynecological surgery,which was worthy of clinical promotion.

Application Value of Moxibustion Combined with Acupoint Application in Patients with Abdominal Distension after Gynecological Surgery

Objective:To explore the application value of moxibustion and acupoint application in the treatment of postoperative abdominal distention in patients undergoing gynecological surgery.Methods:Seventy-two patients who underwent gynecological surgery in our hospital from May 2020 to May 2021 were randomly divided into two groups.Group A was treated with moxibustion and acupoint application,and group B was treated with routine treatment.The incidence of postoperative abdominal distention,therapeutic effect of abdominal distention,defecation time,exhaust time,recovery time of bowel sounds and the changes of patients’quality of life were analyzed.Results:The incidence of abdominal distension in group A was 22.22%,which was lower than 41.47%in group B(P<0.05).The therapeutic effect of abdominal distension in group A was 87.50%,which was higher than 66.67%in group B(P<0.05).The recovery time of first defecation,first exhaust and bowel sound in group A was shorter than that in group B(P<0.05).All postoperative quality of life scores of group A were higher than that of group B(P<0.05).Conclusion:On the basis of routine postoperative intervention,moxibustion and acupoint application can reduce the risk of postoperative abdominal distention,reduce the degree of abdominal distention,promote the recovery of intestinal function,shorten the first postoperative exhaust and defecation time,and then improve the quality of life of patients.

Application of ultrasonic scalpel in gynecologic operative laparoscopy

Objective To investigate the applied value of the ultrasonic scalpel in gynecologic operative laparoscopy. Methods Gynecologic operations were performed using the ultrasonic scalpel under laparoscopy. Operative bleeding and time, perioperative body temperature and hemogram, and tissue damage were observed.Results Forty-two cases of benign gynecologic diseases were treated with the ultrasonic scalpel under laparoscopy. Among them, there were 4 hysterectomies, 9 ovarian cystectomies, 18 salpingotomies, 4 ectopic pregnancies, 3 myomectomies, 3 adhesiolysis and 1 adnexectomy. The amount of operative bleeding, operating time and the tissue injury were related to the type of operation. The minimual operative bleeding amount, operating time, depth of tissue necrosis, tissue injury score and fibrin deposition score were 24.77±4.71ml, 23.39±3.01 min, 0.22±0.10mm, 0.98±0.21 and 0.38±0.26, respectively. The maximal operative bleeding amount, operating time, depth of tissue necrosis, tissue injury score and fibrin deposition score were 166.7±47.18ml, 127.2±16.99 min, 0.35±0.20mm, 1.25±0.20 and 0.81±0.29, respectively. The levels of body temperature, white blood cells and hemoglobin before and after the operations were not statistically different (P>0.05) except for hysterectomy (P<0.05). Conclusion The ultrasonic scalpel can be safely applied for gynecologic operative laparoscopy and should be used widely.
