This study is considered as one of thedescriptive studies, which aim at collecting data relevant to the usage of university students - sample of study- forthe smart tablets and their attitudes towards using them in the educational process, as well as studying somevariables related to usage; such as gender, social status, educational stage etc. This study depends on the surveyapproach as being considered an organized scientific effort that is used for obtaining information or descriptions onthe phenomenon, subject matter. The study concluded that the sample of study agreed on the necessity of enablingArab universities to encourage students to use more techniques in classrooms, and teaching curricula by using smarttablets since this will help in developing the communicational skills of university students. A net model of formation of mathematical knowledge as a deductive theory is suggested here. Within this model the formation of deductive theory is represented as the development of a certain informational space, the elements of which are structured in the form of the orientated semantic net. This net is properly metrized and characterized by a certain system of coverings. It allows injecting net optimization parameters, regulating qualitative aspects of knowledge system under consideration. To regulate the creative processes of the formation and realization of mathematical know- edge, stochastic model of formation deductive theory is suggested here in the form of branching Markovian process, which is realized in the corresponding informational space as a semantic net. According to this stochastic model we can get correct foundation of criterion of optimization creative processes that leads to “great main points” strategy (GMP-strategy) in the process of realization of the effective control in the research work in the sphere of mathematics and its applications.展开更多

The aim of this study is to determine weights of factors affecting elective course selection from students' perspective. So as to solve the problem, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) based model was used. Factors which affect the elective course selection from students' point of view include five main criteria and 13 sub-criteria which were indicated by students. An online questionnaire containing demographic questions, enabled each student to compare the relative priority of criteria with all of the other criteria. The responses were evaluated via Super Decisions software, and priorities were determined using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). According to the analysis of 40 experts (i.e., graduate students studying in engineering programs), course schedule and teaching staff related factors are the two most important factors affecting the elective course selection. A real- life situation which will help students who are indecisive and hesitates while selecting an elective course was observed. AHP contributes to develop an analytic and comprehensive framework decision making. The method should be considered by faculty member involved in decisions about curriculum update and offering new courses.展开更多

According to this stochastic model we can get correct foundation of criterion of optimization creative processes that leads to “great main points” strategy (GMP-strategy) in the process of realization of the effective control in the research work in the sphere of mathematics and its applications.
文摘This contribution proposes a theoretical‐empirical reflection on the relationship among the three sociological concepts identified by the authors as essential dimensions of the innovation:cultural change, education, and territory. The aim is to illustrate the complex relationship among these dimensions and the implications involved in terms of sociological perspectives and research tools,on the basis of the analysis of an emblematic case study:“FQTS”,Italian acronym of the project of Education of Executives and Leaders of the Third Sector in the Southern Italy. In particular, this investigation will be aimed at:(re)defining sociological concepts considered fundamental for the study of innovation;reconstructing the main empirical evidence emerging from the analysis of the case study;and summarizing the relevance of the research results,in terms of new themes and sociological perspectives,as well as of methodological questions.
文摘Elective course selection has always been a serious and important decision making process for students in institutions. The method should be considered by faculty member involved in decisions about curriculum update and offering new courses.
