After a four-level decomposition of the HWPT, the energy feature of AE signals in different frequency bands is extracted, which overcomes the shortcomings of the traditional wavelet packet including energy leakage, and inflexible frequency band selection and different frequency resolutions on different levels. The H-SVM classifier is trained with a subset of the experimental data for known AE source types and tested using the remaining set of data. The results of pressure-off experiments on the specimens of carbon fiber materials indicate that the proposed approach can effectively implement the AE source type identification, and has a better performance in terms of computational efficiency and identification accuracy than the wavelet packet (WPT) feature extraction.展开更多

Its ability to maintain the same amplitude-frequency feature is revealed. A new method to construct the time-frequency(TF) spectrum of HWT is proposed, which makes the HWT TF spectrum able to correctly reflect the time-frequency-amplitude distribution of the signal. A new way to calculate the HWT coefficients is proposed. By zero padding the data taken out, the non-decimated coefficients of HWT are obtained. Theoretical analysis shows that the modulus of the coefficients obtained by the new calculation way and living at a certain scale are the envelope of the component in the corresponding frequency band. By taking the cross section of the new TF spectrum, the demodulation for the component at a certain frequency band can be realized. A comparison with the Hilbert demodulation combined with band-pass filtering is done, which indicates for multi-components, the method proposed here is more suitable since it realizes ideal band-pass filtering and avoids pass band selecting. In the end, it is applied to bearing and gearbox fault diagnosis, and the results reflect that it can effectively extract the fault features in the signal.展开更多

Therefore,it is very important to monitor its running state. At present,a small number of reciprocating compressors have been installed on-line monitoring and diagnosis system, most of which can only monitor a single vertical subsidence of piston rod and it can't fully represent the running state of piston rod. Therefore,a method of monitoring the vertical and horizontal displacement of piston rod axis orbit is simultaneously used. In view of the characteristics that the piston rod axis orbit is disordered and difficult to extract features, purification of the axis orbit is carried out based on harmonic wavelet and then features are extracted such as vibration energy, natural frequency and the axis orbit envelope area. After that,a nonlinear local tangent space manifold learning algorithm is used to reduce the dimension of the features and obtain sensitive features. By analyzing the practical cases, the effectiveness of the method for fault monitoring and diagnosis of reciprocating compressor piston rod assembly has been verified. Finally,as BP neural network has the characteristics of solving complex nonlinear problems, the validity of the fault diagnosis method of reciprocating compressor piston rod based on harmonic wavelet and manifold learning is proved by actual case data analysis based on BP neural network.展开更多

This is realized by the Discrete Cosine Harmonic Wavelet transform (DCHTWT) which exploits the good properties of DCT viz., energy compaction (low leakage), frequency resolution and computational simplicity due its real nature, compared to those of DFT and its harmonic wavelet version. Hence the proposed wavelet packet is advantageous both in terms of performance and computational efficiency compared to those of existing DFT harmonic wavelet packet. Further, the new DCAHWP also enjoys the desirable properties of a Harmonic wavelet transform over the time domain WT, viz., built in decimation without any explicit antialiasing filtering and easy interpolation by mere concatenation of different scales in frequency (DCT) domain with out any image rejection filter and with out laborious delay compensation required. Further, the compression by the proposed DCAHWP is much better compared to that by adaptive WP based on Daubechies-2 wavelet (DBAWP). For a compression factor (CF) of 1/8, the ratio of the percentage error energy by proposed DCAHWP to that by DBAWP is about 1/8 and 1/5 for considered 1-D signal and speech signal, respectively. Its compression performance is better than that of DCHWT, both for 1-D and 2-D signals. The improvement is more significant for signals with abrupt changes or images with rapid variations (textures). For compression factor of 1/8, the ratio of the percentage error energy by DCAHWP to that by DCHWT, is about 1/3 and 1/2, for the considered 1-D signal and speech signal, respectively. This factor for an image considered is 2/3 and in particular for a textural image it is 1/5.展开更多

However, the systematization of the phenomenon is still pending, so we made an attempt to fill this gap in the previous parts of our study by elaborating formulas for calculation of parasitic torques. It was a general demand among those who work in this field towards the author to verify his formulas with measurements. In the literature, it seems, only one detailed, purposeful series of measurements has been published so far, the purpose of which was to investigate the effect of the number of rotor slots on the torque-speed characteristic curve of the machine. The main goal of this study is to verify the correctness of the formulas by comparing them with the referred series of measurements. Relying on this, the expected synchronous parasitic torques were developed for the frequently used rotor slot numbers-as a design guide for the engineer. Thus, together with our complete table for radial magnetic pull published in our previous work, the designer has all the principles, data and formulas available for the right number of rotor slots for his given machine and for the drive system. This brings this series of papers to an end.展开更多

It is found that when the chirp pulse is introduced, the interference structure becomes obvious while the harmonic cutoff is not extended. Furthermore, the harmonic efficiency is improved when the static electric field is included. These phenomena are demonstrated by the classical recollision model in real space affected by the waveform of laser field and inversion symmetry. Specifically, the electron motion in k-space shows that the change of waveform and the destruction of the symmetry of the laser field lead to the incomplete X-structure of the crystal-momentum-resolved(k-resolved) inter-band harmonic spectrum. Furthermore, a pre-acceleration process in the solid four-step model is confirmed.展开更多

文摘By numerically solving the two-dimensional semiconductor Bloch equation,we study the high-order harmonic emission of a monolayer ZnO under the driving of co-rotating two-color circularly polarized laser pulses.By changing the relative phase between the fundamental frequency field and the second one,it is found that the harmonic intensity in the platform region can be significantly modulated. In the higher order, the harmonic intensity can be increased by about one order of magnitude.Through time-frequency analysis,it is demonstrated that the emission trajectory of monolayer ZnO can be controlled by the relative phase, and the harmonic enhancement is caused by the second quantum trajectory with the higher emission probability. In addition,near-circularly polarized harmonics can be generated in the co-rotating two-color circularly polarized fields. With the change of the relative phase, the harmonics in the platform region can be altered from left-handed near-circularly polarization to right-handed one.Our results can obtain high-intensity harmonic radiation with an adjustable ellipticity, which provides an opportunity for syntheses of circularly polarized attosecond pulses.

文摘A simple method, based on harmonic wavelet analysis is proposed for the decomposition of a given energy bounded signal into a periodic signal and a pulse.Alike a denoising method, the first part signal it might represent a smooth periodic function while the pulse is a singular unpredicted perturbation (taken as a fault). It will be shown that, under some general conditions,by a simple projection into two disjoint space of functions we can easily separate the periodic component of the signal from the fault (represented by the singular pulse).
文摘The harmonics that appear in the squirrel cage asynchronous machine have been discussed in great detail in the literature for a long time. This brings this series of papers to an end.

文摘In this paper, promising but simple schemes are investigated to enhance the micro-bunching of relativistic electron beams for coherent harmonic generation(CHG)by using phase merging effects. In contrast to the standard CHG scheme, two specially designed dispersion sections(DSs)are adopted with the DS-modulator–DS configuration. The phase space of the e beam is appropriately coupled in the first DS,and the electrons within one seed wavelength can merge to the same phase with a matched second DS.Micro-bunching of the e beam can thus be enhanced by a large margin with much higher-harmonic components.Taking e beams from laser wakefield accelerators(LWFAs)as an example,start-to-end simulations are performed to show the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed schemes with several configurations. The beam current can be optimized to several tens to hundreds of kiloamperes, and the radiation power reaches hundreds of megawatts in the extreme ultraviolet regime within a 3.5 m-long beamline. The proposed schemes offer new opportunities for future compact free-electron lasers driven by LWFAs and provides prospects for truly compact and widely applicable systems.

文摘High harmonic generation in ZnO crystals under chirped single-color field and static electric field are investigated by solving the semiconductor Bloch equation(SBE). Furthermore, a pre-acceleration process in the solid four-step model is confirmed.

文摘We delve into the phenomenon of high-order harmonic generation within a helium atom under the influence of a plasmon-assisted shaping pulse. Our findings reveal an intriguing manipulation of the frequency peak position in the harmonic emission by adjusting the absolute phase parameter within the frequency domain of the shaping pulse. This phenomenon holds potential significance for experimental setups necessitating precisely tuned single harmonics.Notably,we observe a modulated shift in the created harmonic photon energy, spanning an impressive range of 1.2 eV.This frequency peak shift is rooted in the asymmetry exhibited by the rising and falling edges of the laser pulse, directly influencing the position of the peak frequency emission. Our study quantifies the dependence of this tuning range and the asymmetry of the laser pulse, offering valuable insights into the underlying mechanisms driving this phenomenon.Furthermore, our investigation uncovers the emergence of semi-integer order harmonics as the phase parameter is altered. We attribute this discovery to the intricate interference between harmonics generated by the primary and secondary return cores. This observation introduces an innovative approach for generating semi-integer order harmonics, thus expanding our understanding of high-order harmonic generation.Ultimately, our work contributes to the broader comprehension of complex phenomena in laser-matter interactions and provides a foundation for harnessing these effects in various applications, particularly those involving precise spectral control and the generation of unique harmonic patterns.
