Based on observational and ERA-Interim data, diagnostic analyses reveal that the interannual northwestward-southeastwaxd (NW-SE) shift of the SAH in June is more closely correlated with the synergistic effect of concurrent surface thermal anomalies over the TP and IP than with each single surface thermal anomaly over either plateau from the preceding May. Concurrent surface thermal anomalies over these two plateaus in May are characterized by a negative correlation between sensible heat flux over most parts of the TP (TPSH) and IP (IPSH). This anomaly pattern can persist till June and influences the NW-SE shift of the SAH in June through the release of latent heat (LH) over northeastern India. When the IPSH is stronger (weaker) and the TPSH is weaker (stronger) than normal in May, an anomalous cyclone (anticyclone) appears over northern India at 850 hPa, which is accompanied by the ascent (descent) of air and anomalous convergence (divergence) of moisture flux in May and June. Therefore, the LH release over northeastern India is strengthened (weakened) and the vertical gradient of apparent heat source is decreased (increased) in the upper troposphere, which is responsible for the northwestward (southeastward) shift of the SAH in June.展开更多

Under the premise of high phenol extraction rate, composite YH-3 extraction agent reduces n-n interaction between phenolic compounds and aromatic hydrocarbons, thus decreasing the entrainment of neutral oil. The optimization of operation conditions, such as the diameter of heavy phase weir HWD, the flow ratio, the total flow rate and the rotation speed, are necessary. For single stage extraction experiment, the mass transfer efficiency was up to 84% while the rate of extraction agent loss was lower than 0.28% with the operation conditions of 29 mm of the heavy phase weir diameter (HWD), 1:1-1.4:1 of the flow ratio range, 160-200 mL/min of the total flow rate and the rotation speed varied from 2200 to 2600 r/min. For three stage counter-current test, the mass transfer efficiency reached up to 92.6% with the optimum operation condition of 29 mm of the HWD, 1:1 of the flow ratio, 200 rnL/min of the total flow rate and 2400 r/rain of the rotation speed. The results indicated that phenol could be extracted effectively from coal tar in the process of multistage continuous count current centrifugal extraction.展开更多

In the process of simulated coal gasification, the coal ash and slag were prepared. The transformation of minerals in coal ash and slag upon the change of temperature was studied by using X-ray diffraction(XRD). With the increase of temperatures, forsterite in the ash disappears, while the diffraction peak strength of magnesium spinel increases, and the content of the calcium feldspar increases, then the content of the amorphous phase in the ash increases obviously. The species and evolution process of oxygen, silicon, aluminum, calcium, magnesium at different temperatures were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The decrease of the ash melting point mainly affects the structural changes of silicon, aluminum and oxygen. The coordination of aluminum and oxygen in the aluminum element structure, e.g., tetracoordinated aluminum oxide, was changed. Tetrahedral [AlO4] and hexacoordinated aluminoxy octahedral [AlO6] change with the temperature changing. The addition of Ca2+ and Mg2+ destroys silica chain, making bridge oxide silicon change into non-bridge oxysilicon;and bridge oxygen bond was broken and non-bridge oxygen bond was produced in the oxygen element structure. The addition of calcium and magnesium compound flux reacts with aluminum oxide tetrahedron, aluminum oxide octahedron and silicon tetrahedron to promote the breakage of the bridge oxygen bond. Ca2+ and Mg2+ are easily combined with silicon oxide and aluminum oxide tetrahedron and aluminum. Oxygen octahedrons combine with non-oxygen bonds to generate low-melting temperature feldspars and magnesite minerals, thereby reducing the coal ash melting temperatures. The structure of kaolinite and mullite was simulated by quantum chemistry calculation, and kaolinite molecule has a stable structure.展开更多

The test of wear in NG-x tester shows that the wear between the electromagnetic core and down magnetic board distributes in the high velocity slip region of reciprocating travel, and the adhesive wear in the low velocity slip region nearby up and down dead points is depressed owing to the presence of high flux magnetic field. The lubrication by magnetic fluid with high permeability effectively reduces the friction and wear of high flux rubbing pair, and improves the conducting property of magnetic circuit constructed by the rubbing pair, which is beneficial to increase the operation performance of magnetic driving mechanism.展开更多

The solids holdup was determined through the use of a fiber-optic probe at 11 axial levels. The results indicated that under all operating conditions, the high superficial gas velocity and low solid flux- es maintained a low radial non-uniformity index (RNI). The high-density/flux CFB riser had several unique characteristics, so that the peak of the radial solids holdup profile occurred at a position with r/R=0.8. The RNI and solids holdup at the cross-sectional position had a good logarithmic relationship at the low-density condition (with a mean solids holdup of 〈0.2), and the RNI decreased when the mean solids holdup exceeded 0.2. Investigation of the dynamics of stratified injec- tion revealed that the feed ratio had an important effect on G, and on solids holdup distribution. A novel "〈" shaped axial solids holdup profile was found. Gs decreased sharply when the up-flow feed ratio exceeded 0.5, and RNI was lowest when the up-flow feed ratio was 1.展开更多

In this article, we discuss current developments in high-resolution X-ray imaging and its application in high-pressure nanoTXM experiments in a DAC with third-generation synchrotron X-ray sources, including technical considerations for preparing successful measurements. We then present results from a number of recent in situ high-pressure measurements investigating equations of state (EOS) in amorphous or poorly crystalline materials and in pressureinduced phase transitions and electronic changes. These results illustrate the potential this technique holds for addressing a wide range of research areas, ranging from condensed matter physics and solidstate chemistry to materials science and planetary interiors. Future directions for this exciting technique and opportunities to improve its capabilities for broader application in high-pressure science are discussed.展开更多

Over this pressure range, no phase change or disproportionation is observed. The isothermal equation of state is determined for the first time. High-resolution experimental data on the profiles of ion temperature and plasma rotation velocity facilitate the studies of the mechanisms underlining important physical phenomena, such as plasma heating, L-H transition and momentum transport. Based on silicon diode array and single-photon counting technology, a relatively small area (83.8 x 33.5 mm~) two-dimensional detector was successfully in- stalled and tested in the recent EAST campaign. X-ray photon counting rate higher than 20 MHz was observed for the first time, and high quality satellite spectra were recorded for ion temperature and plasma rotation measurement, indicating that the new technology is suitable for the next-step high-resolution XCS on EAST, and the deployment of a detector array with a much larger X-ray sensing area is planned for better plasma coverage.展开更多

High-pressure synchrotron X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy measurements were carried out at room temperature up to 35.7 and 40.3 GPa, respectively. At a pressure of about 20 GPa, both Raman spectra and X-ray diffraction results indicate that LiCuVO4 was transformed into a monoclinic phase, which remained stable up to at least 35.7 GPa. Upon release of pressure, the high-pressure phase returned to the initial phase. The pressure dependence of the volume of low pressure orthorhombic phase and high-pressure monoclinic phase were described by a second-order Birch-Murnaghan equation of state, which yielded bulk modulus values of B0 = 197 (5) and 232(8) GPa, respectively. The results support the empirical suggestion that the oxide spinels have similar bulk modulus around 200 GPa.展开更多

Therefore, the LH release over northeastern India is strengthened (weakened) and the vertical gradient of apparent heat source is decreased (increased) in the upper troposphere, which is responsible for the northwestward (southeastward) shift of the SAH in June.
文摘Solvent extraction phenol from coal tar were carried out with novel composite YH-3 as extraction agent, and the high flux centrifugal extractor was used as extraction device. The results indicated that phenol could be extracted effectively from coal tar in the process of multistage continuous count current centrifugal extraction.

文摘The melting temperature of Z coal ash was reduced by adding calcium–magnesium compound flux(WCaO/WMgO=1). The structure of kaolinite and mullite was simulated by quantum chemistry calculation, and kaolinite molecule has a stable structure.
文摘The rectangle-like pulsed magnetic field acted on the rubbing pair was presented through analyzing the exciting property in the reciprocating travel. The lubrication by magnetic fluid with high permeability effectively reduces the friction and wear of high flux rubbing pair, and improves the conducting property of magnetic circuit constructed by the rubbing pair, which is beneficial to increase the operation performance of magnetic driving mechanism.
文摘Research reactors with neutron fluxes higher than 10^(14) n cm^(−2) s^(−1) are widely used in nuclear fuel and material irradiation,neutron-based scientific research, and medical and industrial isotope production.Such high flux research reactors are not only important scientific research facilities for the development of nuclear energy but also represent the national comprehensive technical capability.China has several high flux research reactors that do not satisfy the requirements of nuclear energy development.A high flux research reactor has the following features:a compact core arrangement, high power density,plate-type fuel elements,a short refueling cycle, and high coolant velocity in the core. These characteristics make it difficult to simultaneously realize high neutron flux and optimal safety margin.A new multi-mission high flux research reactor was designed by the Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology at Tsinghua University in China;the reactor can simul-taneously realize an average neutron flux higher than 2.0×10^(15) n cm^(−2) s^(−1) and fulfill the current safety criterion. This high flux research reactor features advanced design concepts and has sufficient safety margins according to the preliminary safety analysis.Based on the analysis of the station blackout accident, loss of coolant accident, and reactivity accident of a single-control drum rotating out accidently, the maximum temperature of the cladding surface, minimum departure from nucleate boiling ratio, and temperature difference to the onset of nucleate boiling temperature satisfy the design limits.

文摘A high-density, high-flux circulating fluidized bed (CFB) riser (100 mm in ID and 10.614 m in height) was ap- plied in a wide range of operating conditions (with solid fluxes up to 400 kg/m2s and superficial gas velocities up to 12 m/s) to examine its radial non-uniformity dynamics. Gs decreased sharply when the up-flow feed ratio exceeded 0.5, and RNI was lowest when the up-flow feed ratio was 1.

文摘A soft-measuring approach is presented to measure the flux of liquid zinc with high temperature andcausticity. By constructing mathematical model based on neural networks, weighing the mass of liquid zinc, the fluxof liquid zinc is acquired indirectly, the measuring on line and flux control are realized. Simulation results and indus-trial practice demonstrate that the relative error between the estimated flux value and practical measured flux value islower than 1.5%, meeting the need of industrial process.

文摘Coupling nanoscale transmission X-ray microscopy (nanoTXM) with a diamond anvil cell (DAC) has exciting potential as a powerful three-dimensional probe for non-destructive imaging at high spatial resolution of materials under extreme conditions. Future directions for this exciting technique and opportunities to improve its capabilities for broader application in high-pressure science are discussed.

文摘The compression behavior of a natural hydroxyapophyllite is investigated up to about 10.01 GPa at 300 K using in situ angle-dispersive X-ray diffraction and a diamond anvil cell at the High Pressure Experiment Station, Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility (BSRF). Over this pressure range, no phase change or disproportionation is observed. The isothermal equation of state is determined for the first time. The values of zero-pressure volume V0, isothermal bulk modulus K0, and K0' refined with a third-order Birch-Mumaghan equation of state are V0 = 1276.3 ± 0.9 A3, K0 = 71± 3 GPa, and K0' = 8 ±1. Furthermore, we confirm that the values of linear compressibility β along the a and c directions of hydroxyapophyllite are elastically anisotropic.

文摘An attempt was made to improve the spatio-temporal resolution of the tangen- tial X-ray crystal spectrometer (XCS) on the Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST) by evaluating experimentally the applicability of a novel X-ray photon detection tech- nology for measuring the satellite spectra of Ar XVII with a high counting rate. X-ray photon counting rate higher than 20 MHz was observed for the first time, and high quality satellite spectra were recorded for ion temperature and plasma rotation measurement, indicating that the new technology is suitable for the next-step high-resolution XCS on EAST, and the deployment of a detector array with a much larger X-ray sensing area is planned for better plasma coverage.

文摘The effect of external quasi-hydrostatic pressure on the inverse spinel structure of LiCuVO4 was studied in this paper. The results support the empirical suggestion that the oxide spinels have similar bulk modulus around 200 GPa.

文摘Water-cooled flat-type W/Cu Cr Zr plasma facing components with an interlayer of oxygen-free copper(OFC) have been developed by using vacuum brazing route. The OFC layer for the accommodation of thermal stresses was cast onto the surface of W at a temperature range of 1150oC-1200 oC in a vacuum furnace. The W/OFC cast tiles were vacuum brazed to a Cu Cr Zr heat sink at 940 oC using the silver-free filler material Cu Mn Si Cr.The microstructure, bonding strength, and high heat flux properties of the brazed W/Cu Cr Zr joint samples were investigated. The W/Cu joint exhibits an average tensile strength of 134 MPa,which is about the same strength as pure annealed copper.High heat flux tests were performed in the electron beam facility EMS-60.Experimental results indicated that the brazed W/Cu Cr Zr mock-up experienced screening tests of up to 15 MW/m^2 and cyclic tests of 9 MW/m^2 for 1000 cycles without visible damage.
