As innovation and technological change have become increasingly important for the competitiveness and sustainable growth of firms,cooperative innovation is now crucial for traditional industries in the context of glob...As innovation and technological change have become increasingly important for the competitiveness and sustainable growth of firms,cooperative innovation is now crucial for traditional industries in the context of globalization.This paper proposes a framework for analyzing the spatial pattern of cooperative innovation for traditional industries in developing countries.Based on in-depth interviews with 35 firms in the oil equipment manufacturing industry in Dongying City,China,this study argues that different firms in the innovation pyramid have various innovation activity preferences and spatial patterns.Firms with high innovation abilities tend to cooperate with various partners that are geographically dispersed and continuously expanding,while firms with inferior abilities usually cooperate with nearby fixed partners.Due to the differences in innovation environment and actor locations,firms tend to make different choices regarding innovation types and models,which highlight the importance of personnel training and basic scientific research at the global scale and practical product research and development at the national scale.Additionally,talent flow is the most important way to realize relationships for firm innovation activity.展开更多

The third party based equipment sharing approach is put forward to optimize the utilization of distributed equipment for networked manufacturing; Taking advantage of the shared equipment offered by equipment providers by means of lease agreement, the third party carries out production by establishing networked virtual factory. Operational mechanism of the third party based equipment sharing is discussed, and characteristics of this approach in achieving resource allocation are analyzed. Shared equipment planning is formulated as an optimization problem with the objective of maximizing profits for equipment coordinator, a mathematical model for shared equipment planning is developed. In this paper, a KPI evaluation architecture is presented to define and analyze KPIs, and then a common structure for KPI to obtain the KPI set of manufacturing equipment is introduced. An available multi-KPl coordination model is proposed to discern and balance the relationship among multi-KPl. 文摘In order to solve the problem of metal impurities mixed in the production line of wood pulp nonwoven raw materials,intelligent metal detection and disposal automation equipment is designed.Based on the principle of electromagnetic induction,the precise positioning of metal coordinates is realized by initial inspection and multi-directional re-inspection.Based on a geometry optimization driving algorithm,the cutting area is determined by locating the center of the circle that covers the maximum area.This approach aims to minimize the cutting area and maximize the use of materials.Additionally,the method strives to preserve as many fabrics at the edges as possible by employing the farthest edge covering circle algorithm.Based on a speed compensation algorithm,the flexible switching of upper and lower rolls is realized to ensure the maximum production efficiency.Compared with the metal detection device in the existing production line,the designed automation equipment has the advantages of higher detection sensitivity,more accurate metal coordinate positioning,smaller cutting material areas and higher production efficiency,which can make the production process more continuous,automated and intelligent.

文摘Original equipment manufacturers(OEM) have never been so important and powerful as it is today in garment manufacturing industry.The OEMsupplier's production decisions always have a great impact on the market performance and the profits of a garment brand manufacturer.With constrained capacity and multiply buyers,howto make reasonable production decisions is an urgent problem for OEMsuppliers.A price discount model with a single OEMsupplier and two buyers is proposed to deal with the problem.Based on this model,the OEMsupplier could satisfy buyers' demands and guarantee their profits as well through adjusting price and delivery frequency.A numerical example validates the validity of the model.
