Gymnastics textbooks used in regular colleges and universities has experienced decades of development and needs to be revised and improved under the current physical education situation in colleges and universities, so as to make the content more suitable for needs of college students. This paper adopts literature review, comparative analysis and statistics analysis method to study on the existing gymnastics textbook for physical education major in regular colleges and universities in China by combing development of textbook, summarizing the content and structure, exploring problems existing in the design of textbook in recent years, and then proposing certain improvement suggestions on gymnastics textbook for physical education major. 展开更多

"Elastic-plastic mechanics"is a required course for engineering postgraduates in petroleum colleges and universities,such as students who major in oil and gas storage and transportation engineering.It is the basis for personnel engaged in structural safety assessment.In the past teaching process,the teaching effects of this course were unsatisfactory.There are many reasons for this phenomenon,such as the strong theoretical nature of this course,the need for a large number of formula derivation,the high requirements for students'mechanical foundation and mathematical foundation,the lack of appropriate teaching materials and the slackness of students'minds.Based on years of teaching experience,the teaching team has reformed the existing teaching materials of“Elastic-plastic mechanics”to meet the needs of petroleum colleges and universities.In this reform,we have referred to a large number of published textbooks of“Elasticplastic mechanics”and the experience of textbook construction at home and abroad.The newly compiled textbook of“Elastic-plastic mechanics”plays a certain role in improving the teaching quality of“Elastic-plastic mechanics”in petroleum colleges and universities. 展开更多

Textbooks are an integral part of teaching and learning in Chinese College English classroom.However,they rarely provide adequate pragmatic information for students to successfully develop their pragmatic competence.This study will examine four College English(New) Listening and Speaking textbooks to find out the nature of pragmatic materials and tasks included in the textbooks.The findings indicate that there is a dearth of pragmatic information contained in the Listening and Speaking textbooks and the variety of pragmatic information is limited.Most of the metapragmatic explanations are simple. 展开更多
