This paper presents an in situ measurement of the dynamic load distribution in the four rows of two axlebox bearings on a bogie wheelset of a high-speed train under polygonal wheel–rail excitation. The measurement employed an improved strain-based method to measure the dynamic radial load distribution of roller bearings. The four rows of two axlebox bearings on a wheelset exhibited different ranges of loaded zones and different means of distributed loads. Besides, the mean value and standard deviation of measured roller–raceway contact loads showed non-monotonic variations with the frequency of wheel–rail excitation. The fatigue life of the four bearing rows under polygonal wheel–rail excitation was quantitatively predicted by compiling the measured roller–raceway contact load spectra of the most loaded position and considering the load spectra as input.展开更多

It is estimated that the wireless communication traffic could be as high as 65 Mbps per high-speed train. The development of such HSR communications systems and standards requires, in turn, accurate models for the HSR propagation channel. This article provides an overview of ex- isting HSR channel measurement campaigns in recent years. Particularly, some important measurement and modeling results in various HSR scenarios, such as viaduct and U-shaped groove (USG), are briefly described and analyzed. In addition, we review a novel channel sounding method, which can highly improve the measurement efficiency in HSR environment.展开更多

From the compression experimental results, the flow stress model of this Al alloy is obtained which could be the constitutive equation in the simulation of low-temperature high-speed extrusion process. From the numerical simulation results, there is a higher strain concentration at the entrance of the die and the exit temperature reaches up to 522 ℃ in low-temperature high-speed extrusion, which approaches to the quenching temperature of the 6063 Al alloy. The results show that the low-temperature high-speed extrusion method as a promsing one can reduce energy consumption effectively.展开更多

The results from remeasurement indicate that present horizontal movement in the monitored area is characterized by relative motion among several main tectonic blocks. Considering the spatial distribution features obtained from geological survey and results on seismic wave and activity in the area, and stratified features of crustal medium in depth, a three dimensional finite element medium model is designed. And under the conditions of taking and not taking the action manner of the background stress field in the studied area into account, the relative motion between tectonic blocks is calculated and modeled. Based on the results from the analysis and calculations the dynamic mechanism for the present horizontal deformation in the area is discussed.展开更多

Aiming at relevant demand, the bilateral telecentric-multispectral imaging system was established, the research of synchronous measurement technique of the temperature and deformation fields was developed. On the one hand, the measurement technology for surface temperature of the object was developed using the two-color images captured by the multispectral camera with bilateral telecentric lens and combined with colorimetric method. On the other hand, the 2 D-DIC measurement technique of the multispectral camera was developed by conducting digital image correlation analysis using the blue light images before and after deformation, which can measure the high temperature deformation field of the object(the blue light images were filtered by multispectral camera). Results showed that the bilateral telecentric lens is used to replace the ordinary optical lens for imaging, which can effectively eliminate the distortion of the multispectral imaging system. Since the temperature measurement process of this measurement system is little affected by the emissivity of the object, therefore, it has excellent robustness. The thermal expansion coefficients of the nickel alloys are evaluated at the temperature ranges of 700–1000℃, indicating this system can achieve the synchronous and precise measurement of the temperature and deformation fields of the object.展开更多

The epicenter of the devastating earthquake was located near the city of Bam. This paper described the application of differential synthetic aperture radar interferometry (D-INSAR) and ENVISAT ASAR data to map the coseismic surface deformation caused by the Bam earthquake including the interferometric data processing and results in detail. Based on the difference in the coherence images before and after the event and edge search of the deforma- tion field, a new fault ruptured on the surface was detected and used as a data source for parameter extraction of a theoretical seismic modeling. The simulated deformation field from the model perfectly coincides with the result derived from the SAR interferometric measurement.展开更多

The detected object is manufactured by composite materials. In order to increase the surface deformation measurement accuracy, the calibration method and the error was discussed with different calibration specimen. The surface deformation of the manufactured composite plates and fan case are measured in the impaction procedure. So that the impact action details can be described much more clearly than the traditional video monitoring method.展开更多

The measure method takes advantage of the position detecting technique based on digital image processing. A bright spot is pegged on the object to be measured and imaged to the target of CCD camera through a telescopic lens. The CCD target converts the optical signal to equivalent electric signal. The video frequency signal is digitized to an array of 512×512 pixels by the analog to digital converter (ADC), then transmitted to the computer. The computer controls the data acquisition, conducts image processing and detects the location of the target spot. Comparing the current position with the original position of the spot, the displacement of object is obtained. With the aid of analysis software, the system can achieve the resolution of 0 01 mm in the 6 m distance from the object to the point of observation. To meet the need of practice, the measuring distance can be extended to 100 m or even farther.展开更多

文摘Wireless communication for high-speed railways (HSRs) that provides reliable and high data rate communi- cation between the train and trackside networks is a challenging task. In addition, we review a novel channel sounding method, which can highly improve the measurement efficiency in HSR environment.

文摘The hot compression test of 6063 Al alloy was performed on a Gleeble-1500 thermo-simulation machine, and the forming of 6063 rod cxtrudate in low-temperature high-speed extrusion was simulated with extrusion ratio of 25 on the platform of DEFORM 2D successfully. The results show that the low-temperature high-speed extrusion method as a promsing one can reduce energy consumption effectively.
文摘A deformation monitoring network that covers part of North China area and takes the Beijing region as the center was measured for two times with high precision GPS in 1995 and 1996 respectively. Based on the results from the analysis and calculations the dynamic mechanism for the present horizontal deformation in the area is discussed.

文摘The hot-section parts easily occur the creep-fatigued interaction under the condition of mechanicalthermal coupled load during the period of service, which may lead to the damage of the parts, and therefore, the measurement and characterization of thermal-deformed fields of the parts are important to understand its damage process. The thermal expansion coefficients of the nickel alloys are evaluated at the temperature ranges of 700–1000℃, indicating this system can achieve the synchronous and precise measurement of the temperature and deformation fields of the object.

文摘On the 26th December 2003 an earthquake with MW=6.5 shook a large area of the Kerman Province in Iran. The simulated deformation field from the model perfectly coincides with the result derived from the SAR interferometric measurement.
文摘In order to study the strength of the composite material plate problems, need to adopt a nondestructive testing method to obtain the specimen surface under the effect of high-speed impact regularity of shape. The projection profilometry was used to measure the surface profile or the full field deformation. Furtherly, by using the Fourier transform algorithm, there is only one frame of captured image which is needed in the measurement, so that it can be introduced into the high speed impaction procedure measurement. An experimental system, which was contained with an impact setup and the projection profilometry measurement part, was constructed for the impaction action characteristic research. The metallic impact object can be launched by a gas gun or a spin fan, respectively. The detected object is manufactured by composite materials. In order to increase the surface deformation measurement accuracy, the calibration method and the error was discussed with different calibration specimen. And then, the proposed profilometry measurement method is proved by the gas gun and spin fan projectile test. The surface deformation of the manufactured composite plates and fan case are measured in the impaction procedure. So that the impact action details can be described much more clearly than the traditional video monitoring method.

文摘It is important to study the subgrade characteristics of high-speed railways in consideration of the water–soil coupling dynamic problem, especially when high-speed trains operate in rainy regions. This study develops a nonlinear water–soil interaction dynamic model of slab track coupling with subgrade under high-speed train loading based on vehicle–track coupling dynamics.By using this model, the basic dynamic characteristics, including water–soil interaction and without water induced by the high-speed train loading, are studied. The main factors-the permeability coefficien and the porosity-influencin the subgrade deformation are investigated. The developed model can characterize the soil dynamic behaviour more realistically, especially when considering the influenc of water-rich soil.
文摘Based on the arrangement of the across-fault measurement data along the northern edge of the Qinghai-Xizang block,we divide the deformation into different types and probe the nature of various fault movements based on these types. The recent situation of tectonic movement of main structural belts and seismicity in this area are expounded. From the above,it is concluded that across-fault measurement can reflect not only the conditions of fault movement nearby but also the change of regional stress fields; not only is this a method to obtain regional seismogenic information and to conduct short-term prediction but it is also involved with large scale space-time prediction of moderate and strong earthquakes on the basis of the macro characteristics of fractures.
文摘A CCD position detecting system measuring the displacement and deformation of structure is presented. To meet the need of practice, the measuring distance can be extended to 100 m or even farther.
