Brief analysis of English teaching in vocational institutes

Nowadays, as the international exchange of China becomes increasingly more and China＇s international status has been greatly improved, cross-cultural communication presents its importance in all walks of our life. In vocational institutes, especially institutes of foreign languages, how to train talented persons who can not only speak English fluently and adapt to the market economy, but also professionals with various skills is the most important task. This paper analyzes the problems existing in English teaching in vocational institutes at present and discusses how to sort them out successfully.

The Enlightenments of Higher Vocational Institution from New Vocationalism Concept in China

This article bases on the "new vocationalism" educational concept and China's stituation,and tries to find the access to the teaching management revolution for the higher vocational institution by this educational concept,including the revolution in the teaching concept management,curriculum design management,teaching pattern management and practical method management for the higher vocational institution.The purpose is to improve the development of teaching managements in higher vocational institution in China.

An investigation ﹠ research of current physical exercise situation of higher vocational institutions students

Through questionnaire,literature,statistical data,etc.,we carried out a detailed investigation on 180 students from two grades of higher vocational institutions in regard to seven aspects,i.e.physical self-awareness,the interest of participating in physical activity,sport mode,the frequency of self-training,self-exercise way,the factors that affect self-training,self-exercise awareness.We also made detailed statistics and analysis of the data,combining with years of teaching experience.We think that in order to achieve the long-term goal of National Fitness,it is an effective way to train students’ life-long sport conscionsness,interest of sport activity and improve thsir ability of self-exercise.

Empirical Research on the Status Quo of Teachers of Common Required Courses in Vocational Higher Education Institutions

In order to build a high-quality team of teachers in vocational higher education institutions, and investigate the current situation of teachers of common required courses in vocational higher education institutions of Hainan Province, an empirical research is conducted. A questionnaire survey was carried out in aspects of satisfaction of teaching and scientific research, professional quality, work saturation and teacher’s job satisfaction. The research results shows that the professional quality of teachers of common required courses cannot significantly influence the satisfaction of teaching and scientific research;Job saturation can positively influence teaching and research satisfaction;teaching and research satisfaction can positively influence teachers’ job satisfaction.

Qi Business Culture and the Cultivation of Financial Professionals in Higher Vocational Institute

This paper combs the rise and development process of Qi business and Qi business culture,and concludes that Qi business culture has such spiritual connotations as pragmatism,openness,integrity,innovation,self-improvement and flexibility.It is not only a part of Chinese excellent traditional culture,but also has important time value for today's commercial and trade activities and the cultivation of financial professionals,it can be used to guide the training of finance and economics professionals in higher vocational institute,establish the curriculum system of professional innovation integration,cultural penetration,progressive level and the hybrid teaching mode of matrix theory and practice integration,so as to cultivate outstanding technical and skilled talents of finance and economics major.

Using the Process Approach to Teach English Writing to Vocational Students

Based on an analysis of current English writing and teaching conditions in vocational institutes,it is proposed that the methods used to teach English writing should be changed to a process oriented approach.In the planning,drafting,revising,and post-writing stages,students are fully involved in the process of monitoring their own and the written works of others through a series of cooperative activities among the students and guiding activities directed by the teacher.As a result,in the process of cooperative discussions aimed at identifying and resolving problems,their writing habits will be improved,their interest in English writing will be stimulated,and their research and writing skills will be further developed.

the enactment of Planning for Modem Vocational Education System （2014-2020） [[2014] No. 6 of MOE] declares the development of vocational education in China has entered a new historical stage. The development of vocational education, after being elevated to the level of national strategy, will inevitably imply that the existing resources for vocational education must be effectively integrated. To improve the quality of vocational educational institutions, enhance social service levels of vocational institutions and provide smooth career paths for professional talents, are the main goal of vocational education in the future. Since innovative education system for vocational institutions is the inevitabl choice to achieve the above development goal, to innovate the educational system by way of cooperative building of vocational education platforms is the inevitable requirement upon the development of vocational education.

高等职业院校在线开放课程建设的路径研究

分析高等职业院校在线开放课程建设背景及意义,从课程设计、教学实施、教学评价三个方面提出了在线课程的建设原则。从课程内容的更新和优化、教师团队的培养和培训、学习者的体验和反馈为课程建设等角度提出了建设思路。以哈尔滨职业技术学院在线课程建设的实践经验为例,提出五个实践路径:确定课程设置、教材和教学资源选择、教学活动设计、课程平台建设、课程推广和营销,为高等职业院校教师的在线开放课程提供有益参考。

民办本科职业技术大学试点建设分析:特征、挑战与路径
