Using Green's function, we confirm that the method invented by Rayleigh can be generalized to deal with thermal property of these systems. A technique for calculating effective thermal conductivities of these systems is proposed. As an example, we consider a system with square symmetry, and a neat formula for effective thermal conductivity is derived. We show that the method also includes the proof of Keller theorem.展开更多

They include the ruin time, the time of the surplus process leaving zero ultimately (simply, the ultimately leaving-time), the surplus immediately prior to ruin, the supreme profits before ruin, the supreme profits and deficit until it leaves zero ultimately and so on. The explicit expressions for their distributions are obtained mainly by the various properties of Levy process, such as the homogeneous strong Markov property and the spatial homogeneity property etc, moveover, the many properties for Brownian motion.展开更多

A well-dispersed suspension can be obta ined by choosing suitable dispersant, solvent, particle size distribution etc. B esides these factors, the homogenizing procedure is also a key step. In this paper, reaction sialon suspensions were prepared using 3-wt% KD1 as dis persant in organic media composed of 60-vol% methyletheylketone and 40-vol% et hanol. Different homogenizing procedures have been used and compared, including planetary milling, low energy ball milling and ultrasonic disaggregation. The ef fects of different homogenizing routes and mixing times on the rheology and stab ility of suspensions, and on the microstructure of slip casting green bodies, ha ve been studied. The varying dispersion efficiencies observed could be attribute d to differences in deagglomeration degrees achieved and in adsorption amount of dispersant onto the surface of reaction sialon powders.展开更多

A framework of homogenization the- ory for particle-reinforced W-Ni-Fe composites, a kind of tungsten alloy, was established. Based on the homogenization theory and a fixed-point iteration method, a unit cell model with typical microstructnres of the composite was established by using dynamic analysis program. The effects of tungsten content, tungsten particle shape and particle size and interface strength on the mechanical properties and the crack propagation of the W-Ni-Fe composite are analyzed under quasi-static and dynamic loadings. The stress-strain curves of the composite are given and the relation between the macro-mechanical characteristics and the microstructure parameters is explored, which provides an important theoretical basis for the optimization of the W-Ni-Fe composites.展开更多
