It is the common wish of the people from all over the world as well as the inexorable demand for the progress of human society to build a harmonious world of lasting peace and common prosperity. Many preconditions are indispensable for building a harmonious world, one of which is to abide by the intemational laws on human rights and safeguard and promote human rights.

Adhering to Correct Political Orientation, Building the Chinese Human Right Discourse System

The Human Rights Research Academy of Wuhan University being named a national human rights education and training base is an affirmation and sign of trust in the university as well as a glorious re- sponsibility. We are going to work hard to build the academy into a world-recognized education and research platform with Chinese characteristics, making its necessary contribution to human rights devel- opment in China.

Building Incubators for Chinese Socialist Human Rights Values

We are announcing the second group of na- tional human rights education and training bases, which is a significant as well as pleasant event in China＇s human rights development. Building a Sustainable Environment for Human Rights Development; Earnestly Respecting and Ensuring Human Rights

Constructing an environ- ment for human rights development is a large, comprehensive project as well asa long and arduous mission. Although constructing an environment for human rights development was not mentioned much in the past, in actuality it began early and achieved sustained progress. It is a gradual process that is also a prerequisite for earnestly respecting and ensuring human rights. There are five dimensions to building a sustainable environment for human rights development.

Building National Level Human Rights Bases and Popularization Centers

Building national human rights education and train- ing bases is part of China＇s human rights development,which shows the strong will of the Chinese government for promoting human fights and strengthening hu- man rights protection. Such an action is not only a practical measure for implementing international human fights action plans, but also a practice of the Chinese government in re- specting and implementing relevant international obligations set by the United Nations.

Building a Community with a Shared Future for Human Beings: New Opportunity for South-South Human Rights Development Overview of the First South-South Human Rights Forum

From December 7 to December 8, 2017, the State Council Information Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs jointly organized the first South-South Human Rights Forum in Beijing. With the topic of "Building a Community with a Shared Future for Human Beings: New Opportunity for South-South Human Rights Development," participants conducted in-depth discussions on topics including "global human rights governance", "inclusive development and South-South human rights cooperation", "China and the SouthSouth cooperation", "right to education for the countries of the Global South" and "poverty reduction, right to food and right to health", which achieved great consensuses and yielded results. This Forum was the first time that countries of the Global South have jointly discussed human rights issues.

Because of the impact of global warming,the Earth’s ecosystems are currently at a critical stage.The European building sector,and the residential element in particular,is responsible for the largest portion of energy enduse.Although we know how to build a perfectly engineered house,it will not work properly if its inhabitants do not know how to run it.“Well-educated”dwellers can really improve energy use.The aim of this research is to optimize the users’role in the energy reduction process,analysing as a case study,Dwell!,the monitoring system designed for“RhOME for denCity”,the housing prototype developed by Roma Tre University and winner of the“Solar Decathlon Europe”competition in 2014.
