The great diversity of dedicated hybrid transmissions(DHTs)requires a method to identify solutions among all potential concepts involved in each structure.Therefore,a DHT synthesis tool is developed on the basis of ge...The great diversity of dedicated hybrid transmissions(DHTs)requires a method to identify solutions among all potential concepts involved in each structure.Therefore,a DHT synthesis tool is developed on the basis of general transmission synthesis.In the first synthesis step,transmission structures are generated with only conventional functions such as driving with only the internal combustion engine.Electric machines are then installed in the transmissions to achieve further hybrid functions,including boosting,eCVT and electric driving modes.The number of generated transmission concepts increases exponentially with each synthesis step.Various evaluations are carried out successively to identify the most suitable DHT concepts among the many possible solutions.The generated DHT concepts are evaluated in terms of structural feasibility,driving modes,drivability and load factors on transmission components.An example of DHT synthesis involving planetary gear sets is explained in detail.The best five DHT structures are identified out of more than 120 billion solutions.展开更多

To improve these performance indexes of PHEV, a coordinated control system is proposed through the analyzing of HEV powertrain dynamic characteristics. Using the method of minimum principle, the input torque of transmission is optimized to improve the driving smoothness of vehicle. Using the methods of fuzzy logic and fuzzy-PID, the engaging speed of clutch and the throttle opening of engine are manipulated to ensure the smoothness of clutch engagement and reduce the abrasion of clutch friction plates. The motor provides the difference between the required input torque of transmission and the torque transmitted through clutch plates. Results of simulation and experiments show that the proposed control strategy performs better than the contrastive control system, the smoothness of driving and the abrasion of clutch can be improved simultaneously.展开更多
A hybrid energy transmission pipeline is proposed with the aim of long-distance cooperative transmission of electricity and chemical fuels, which is composed of an inner high-temperature superconducting (HTS) power ca...A hybrid energy transmission pipeline is proposed with the aim of long-distance cooperative transmission of electricity and chemical fuels, which is composed of an inner high-temperature superconducting (HTS) power cable and outer liquefied natural gas (LNG) pipeline. The flowing LNG could maintain the operating temperature of the inner HTS power cable within the range of 85 K-90 K, thus the Bi-2223 superconductors in the HTS power cable produce little Joule loss with the transmission current below the critical current. Owing to the advantages of high power density, low transmission losses and economical manufacturing costs, the hybrid energy transmission pipeline is expected to be widely utilized in the near future. In order to ensure the safety of the HTS power cable and explosive LNG in case of short-circuit faults, this paper tests and analyzes the characteristics of Bi-2223 HTS tapes of the Type HT-CA, Type HT-SS and Type H models under short-circuit current impacts at the LNG cooling temperature (85 K-90 K). An experimental platform is designed and established for the ampacity tests of HTS tapes above LN2 cooling temperature (77 K). The AC over-current impact tests at 85 K-90 K are carried out on each sample of Bi-2223 tapes respectively, and the experimental results are analyzed and compared to evaluate their performances under different operating conditions. The results indicate that the Type HT-CA tape can withstand 50 Hz short-circuit current impact with the amplitude of 1108 A (10 times of critical current Ic ) for 100 ms at 90 K, and its resistance is the smallest of the three tested samples under similar current impacts. Therefore, the Type HT-CA Bi-2223 tape is the optimal superconductor of the HTS power cable in the hybrid energy transmission pipeline.展开更多
The hybrid cascaded high-voltage direct current(HVDC)transmission system has various operation modes,and some operation modes have sharply increasing requirements for protection rapidity,while the traditional pilot di...The hybrid cascaded high-voltage direct current(HVDC)transmission system has various operation modes,and some operation modes have sharply increasing requirements for protection rapidity,while the traditional pilot differential protection(PDP)has poor rapidity,and even refuses to operate when faults occur on the DC line.Therefore,a novel pilot protection scheme based on traveling wave characteristics is proposed.First,the adaptability of the traditional PDP applied in engineering is analyzed for different operation modes.Then,the expressions of the forward traveling wave(FTW)and backward traveling wave(BTW)on the rectifier side and the inverter side are derived for different fault locations.From the theoretical derivation,the difference between the BTW and FTW on the rectifier side is less than zero,and the same is true on the inverter side.However,in the event of an external fault of DC line,the difference between the BTW and FTW at nearfault terminal protection installation point is greater than zero.Therefore,by summing over the product of the difference between BTW and FTW of the rectifier side and that of the inverter side,the fault identification criterion is constructed.The simulation results show that the proposed pilot protection scheme can quickly and reliably identify the short-circuit faults of DC line in different operation modes.展开更多
The DC grid technology of multi-power supply and multi-drop-point power reception is an effective solution for large-scale renewable energy integration into the power grid.Line-commutated converter-Voltage source conv...The DC grid technology of multi-power supply and multi-drop-point power reception is an effective solution for large-scale renewable energy integration into the power grid.Line-commutated converter-Voltage source converter(LCC-VSC)power grids are one of the more important developmental directions of the future power grid that have occured in recent years.But the multi-terminal high voltage direct current system has the problems of inconsistent boundary characteristics,inconsistent control,and fault response characteristics,which puts higher requirements on the protection scheme.Thus,a completely new protection principle is proposed in this paper.Firstly,the fault characteristics of distributed capacitance current are analyzed.The reactive power calculated by the distribution parameters of different frequencies is different.Subsequently,the fault characteristics of DC reactive power are analyzed,and a DC reactive power extraction algorithm is proposed.The polarity of the multi-band DC reactive power is used to construct the protection scheme.Finally,the LCC-VSC power grid model verifies the correctness and superiority of the proposed protection scheme.The proposed scheme uses DC reactive power instead of fault current to solve the long delay problem caused by distributed capacitance.Compared with the prior art,the proposed solution is not affected by distributed capacitance and has a stronger anti-interference ability(600Ω+10 dB+1 ms).展开更多

As the transmission line corridors become more and more rare in China,it is now inevitable for people to construct HVAC-HVDC hybrid transmission lines.The research on the electric field around the transmission lines p...As the transmission line corridors become more and more rare in China,it is now inevitable for people to construct HVAC-HVDC hybrid transmission lines.The research on the electric field around the transmission lines plays an important role in evaluating the electromagnetic environment nearby.However,few existing research now considered the mutual effect of HVAC-HVDC hybrid transmission lines.Thus,this research designed a program based on windows,which calculated the surface voltage gradient on the transmission lines and the electric field at ground level respectively.This research calculated the surface voltage gradient on the transmission lines by applying the improved method of successive images.For the electric field at ground level under AC transmission line,simulation charge method is used,while for the electric field at the ground level under DC transmission lines,deutsch assumption method is used.Comparing the results generated by the calculation with those in published literature,the program is reliable.Taking 500 kV transmission lines as an example,when considering the mutual effect of the HVAC-HVDC lines,the amplitude of the surface voltage gradient will increase by about 10%and the amplitude of the electric field at ground level will increase by about 8%,making the mutual effect of the AC and DC lines unneglectable. Larger part of the electric field at ground level under hybrid lines is produced by the DC line.Thus,in order to control the electric field at ground level under hybrid lines,it should pay more attention on that produced by the DC line.展开更多
Magnetotactic bacteria(MTB)are morphologically and phylogenetically diverse prokaryotes commonly able to produce magnetic nanocrystals within intracellular membrane-bound organelles(i.e.,magnetosomes)and to swim along...Magnetotactic bacteria(MTB)are morphologically and phylogenetically diverse prokaryotes commonly able to produce magnetic nanocrystals within intracellular membrane-bound organelles(i.e.,magnetosomes)and to swim along geomagnetic field lines.We studied the diversity of MTB in the samples collected from a mangrove area in the Sanya River,Hainan,South China,using microscopic and microbial phylogenetic methods.Results of microanalysis and observation in microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDXS)reveal a highly morphological diversity of MTB including unicellular cocci,vibrios,rod-shaped bacteria,and three morphotypes of multicellular magnetotactic prokaryotes(MMPs).In addition,analysis of the 16S rRNA gene showed that these MTB were clustered into 16 operational taxonomic units affi liated to the Alpha-,Delta-,and Gamma-proteobacteria classes within the Proteobacteria phylum.Meanwhile,by using the coupled fluorescence and transmission electron microscopy analysis,rodshaped bacteria,vibrio,and cocci were phylogenetically and structurally identified at the single-cell level.This study demonstrated highly diverse MTB communities in the mangrove ecosystem and provide a new insight into the overall diversity of MTB.展开更多
Much progress has been made in the development of automotive transmissions over the past 20 years,e.g.,an increased speed number,expanded ratio spread and improved efficiency and shift quality.Automotive transmissions...Much progress has been made in the development of automotive transmissions over the past 20 years,e.g.,an increased speed number,expanded ratio spread and improved efficiency and shift quality.Automotive transmissions are moving toward electrification in response to stringent legislation on emissions and the pressing demand for better fuel economy.This paper reviews progress in automotive transmission technology.Assisted by computer-aided programs,new transmission schemes are constantly being developed.We therefore first introduce the synthesis of the transmission scheme and parameter optimization.We then discuss the progress in the transmission technology of a conventional internal combustion engine vehicle in terms of new layouts;improved efficiency;noise,vibration and harshness technology;and the shifting strategy and control technology.As the major development trend,transmission electrification is subsequently discussed;this discussion includes the configuration design,energy management strategy,hybrid mode shifting control,single-speed and multi-speed electric vehicle transmission and distributed electric drive.Finally,a summary and outlook are presented for conventional automotive transmissions,hybrid transmissions and electric vehicle transmissions.展开更多
Dedicated hybrid transmission(DHT)is the developing trend of hybrid transmissions.This paper studies different types of DHTs regarding the structure,function,and performance.Firstly,the structure and function of diffe...Dedicated hybrid transmission(DHT)is the developing trend of hybrid transmissions.This paper studies different types of DHTs regarding the structure,function,and performance.Firstly,the structure and function of different well-known DHTs in the market are discussed and analyzed.Through the analysis,the reasonability and necessity of the different modes and the electric motor power requirements that lie behind different DHTs are derived.Secondly,the dynamics of different DHTs are further compared with the driving areas in different modes under different driving conditions.Then,the basic or minimum dynamic requirements are defined and taken into consideration before the economic comparison.To ensure the effectiveness of the comparison,the optimization of the configurations for each kind of DHT is carried out with the modular simulation model.The economic comparison is conducted under the premise of excluding the influences of the configurations in the results.Finally,the sensitivity and influence of different engine characteristics for different DHTs are studied to find out the sensibilities of the two kinds of DHTs with engine technology.Through these studies,the essential differences and features of different DHTs can be derived to help better understand the decision in choosing the technical route for the original equipment manufacturers.展开更多

文摘Magnetotactic bacteria(MTB)are morphologically and phylogenetically diverse prokaryotes commonly able to produce magnetic nanocrystals within intracellular membrane-bound organelles(i.e.,magnetosomes)and to swim along geomagnetic field lines.We studied the diversity of MTB in the samples collected from a mangrove area in the Sanya River,Hainan,South China,using microscopic and microbial phylogenetic methods.Results of microanalysis and observation in microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDXS)reveal a highly morphological diversity of MTB including unicellular cocci,vibrios,rod-shaped bacteria,and three morphotypes of multicellular magnetotactic prokaryotes(MMPs).In addition,analysis of the 16S rRNA gene showed that these MTB were clustered into 16 operational taxonomic units affi liated to the Alpha-,Delta-,and Gamma-proteobacteria classes within the Proteobacteria phylum.Meanwhile,by using the coupled fluorescence and transmission electron microscopy analysis,rodshaped bacteria,vibrio,and cocci were phylogenetically and structurally identified at the single-cell level.This study demonstrated highly diverse MTB communities in the mangrove ecosystem and provide a new insight into the overall diversity of MTB.

文摘Much progress has been made in the development of automotive transmissions over the past 20 years,e.g.,an increased speed number,expanded ratio spread and improved efficiency and shift quality.Automotive transmissions are moving toward electrification in response to stringent legislation on emissions and the pressing demand for better fuel economy.This paper reviews progress in automotive transmission technology.Assisted by computer-aided programs,new transmission schemes are constantly being developed.We therefore first introduce the synthesis of the transmission scheme and parameter optimization.We then discuss the progress in the transmission technology of a conventional internal combustion engine vehicle in terms of new layouts;improved efficiency;noise,vibration and harshness technology;and the shifting strategy and control technology.As the major development trend,transmission electrification is subsequently discussed;this discussion includes the configuration design,energy management strategy,hybrid mode shifting control,single-speed and multi-speed electric vehicle transmission and distributed electric drive.Finally,a summary and outlook are presented for conventional automotive transmissions,hybrid transmissions and electric vehicle transmissions.
文摘Dedicated hybrid transmission(DHT)is the developing trend of hybrid transmissions.This paper studies different types of DHTs regarding the structure,function,and performance.Firstly,the structure and function of different well-known DHTs in the market are discussed and analyzed.Through the analysis,the reasonability and necessity of the different modes and the electric motor power requirements that lie behind different DHTs are derived.Secondly,the dynamics of different DHTs are further compared with the driving areas in different modes under different driving conditions.Then,the basic or minimum dynamic requirements are defined and taken into consideration before the economic comparison.To ensure the effectiveness of the comparison,the optimization of the configurations for each kind of DHT is carried out with the modular simulation model.The economic comparison is conducted under the premise of excluding the influences of the configurations in the results.Finally,the sensitivity and influence of different engine characteristics for different DHTs are studied to find out the sensibilities of the two kinds of DHTs with engine technology.Through these studies,the essential differences and features of different DHTs can be derived to help better understand the decision in choosing the technical route for the original equipment manufacturers.
