By using the Somigliana representation and the concepts offinite-part integrals, a set of hypersingular integral equations ofthe interaction between two parallel planar cracks in a three-dimen-sional finite body subjected to arbitrary loads is derived, and thenits numerical method is proposed by the finite-part integral methodcombined with the boundary element method. According to the analytictheory of hypersingular integral equations, the square root models ofdisplacement discontinuities in the elements near the crack front areapplied, and thus the computational precision is raised. Based onthis, the stress intensity factors can be directly calculated.Finally, the stress intensity factors of sever- al typicalinteraction problems are calculated. 展开更多
