To explore biodegradation of 2-naphthol and its metabolites accumulated in wastewater treatment,a series of bio-degradation experiments were conducted.Two main metabolites of 2-naphthol,1,2-naphthalene-diol and 1,2-naphthoquinone,were identified by high-performance liquid chromatography with standards.Combining fungus Aspergillus niger with bacterium Bacillus subtilis in the treatment enhanced 2-naphthol degradation efficiency,lowered the accumulation of the two toxic metabolites.There were two main phases during the degradation process by the kinetic analysis:2-naphthol was first partly degraded by the fungus,producing labile and easily accumulated metabolites,and then the metabolites were mainly degraded by the bacterium,attested by the degradation processes of 1,2-naphthalene-diol and 1,2-naphthoquinone as sole source of carbon and energy.Sodium succinate,as a co-metabolic substrate,was the most suitable compound for the continuous degradation.The optimum concentration of 2-naphthol was 50 mg/L.The overall 2-naphthol degradation rate was 92%,and the COD Cr removal rate was 80% on day 10.These results indicated that high degradation rate of 2-naphthol should not be considered as the sole desirable criterion for the bioremediation of 2-naphtholcontaminated soils/wastewater. 展开更多

The present work studies the chemical constituents from marine-derived streptomyces 3320^# and their antitumor activities. The n-BuOH extract of the ferment broth of 3320^# was chromatographed on silica gel, Sephadex LH-20, ODS columns and HPLC to separate the compounds with antitoumor activities. Their structures were identified using IR, UV, NMR, MS spectroscopic techniques and compared with published data. The antitumor activities of the isolates were assayed using SRB method and flow cytometry assay, accompanied with the morphological observation of the cells under light micro- scope against mammalian tsFT210 cells. Ten compounds, cyclo-(Ala-Leu) 1, cyclo-(Ala-Ile) 2, cyclo-(Ala-Val) 3, cyclo- (Phe-Pro) 4, cyclo-(Phe-Gly)5, cyclo-(Leu-Pro)6, 1-methyl-1, 2, 3, 4-tetrahydro-β-carboline-3-carboxylic acid 7, N-(4- hydroxyphenethyl) acetamide 8, 4-methyoxy-l-(2-hydroxy) ethylbenzene 9 and uridine 10, were isolated from the ferment broth of streptomyces 3320^# . Among them, compounds 6, 7, 8 and 10 showed potent cytotoxicity against the tsFT210 cell with the IC50 values of 3.6, 7.2, 5.2 and 1.6 mmol L-1, respectively. Compounds 8, 10 also exhibited apoptosis inducing activity under 2.0 mmol L-1. Compounds 6, 7, 8 and 10 are the principle bioactive constituents responsible for the antitumor activities of marine streptomyces 3320^#. In the present work, we propose a novel method based on the wavelet packet transform and its energy spectrum for pattern recognition of splash signal. Many improved authentication solutions were put forward, on purpose of authenticating more quickly and securely.However, neither the overuse of hash function,or additional symmetric encryption, can truly increase the overall security. Instead,extra computation cost degraded the performance.They were still vulnerable to a variety of threats, such as smart card loss attack and impersonation attack, due to hidden loopholes and flaws. Even worse, user's identity can be parsed in insecure environment, even became traceable. Aiming to protect identity, a lightweight mutual authentication scheme is proposed. Redundant operations are removed,which make the verification process more explicit. It gains better performance with average cost compared to other similar schemes.Cryptanalysis shows the proposed scheme can resist common attacks and achieve user anonymity.Formal security is further verified by using the widely accepted Automated Validation of Internet Security Protocols and Applications(AVISPA) tool. 展开更多

Security video communication is a challenging task,especially for wireless video applications.An efficient security multimedia system on embedded platform is designed.By analyzing the hardware architecture and resource,the efficient DSP-based H.264/AVC coding is studied by efficient video coding techniques and system optimizing implementation.To protect the confidentiality and integrity of media information,a novel security mechanism is presented,which includes user identify authentication and a perceptual video encryption algorithm based on exploiting the special feature of entropy coding in H.264.Experimental results show that the proposed hardware framework has high performance and achieves a better balance between security and efficiency.The proposed security mechanism can achieve high security and low complexity cost,and has a little effect on the compression ratio and transmission bandwidth.What’s more,encoding and encryption at the same time,the performance of data process can meet real-time application. 展开更多

In order to obtain the primary parameters and operating characteristics of a DC motor without directly measuring its torque and rational speed, it is proposed to use a PC and a data acquisition card to acquire both the dynamic and static data of armature current to establish the performance of a DC permanent magnet motor. The accuracy and validity of this virtual test system proposed were verified by comparing the measurements made with the system proposed with the measurements made with conventional torque meters. It is concluded from the results of comparison that from the mathematic model established for the DC permant magnet motors, both major parameters and operating characteristics can be directly established for the DC motors without measuring their torques and rotational speed, a perfect on line measurement and test system has been established for the DC permanent magnet motors using the theory of virtual test system. The system proposed features shorter test time, higher efficiency and lower cost. 展开更多

In order to clarify the relationship between the Preisach model and the first order reversal curves, this paper is directed towards: (1) giving the reason a first order reversal curve is introduced; (2) presenting, for identifying Preisach model, two discrete methods, which are analytically based on first order reversal curves. Herein also is indicated the solution's uniqueness of these two identifying methods. BACKGROUND A convolutional neural network(CNN) is a deep learning algorithm based on the principle of human brain visual cortex processing and image recognition.AIM To automatically identify the invasion depth and origin of esophageal lesions based on a CNN.METHODS A total of 1670 white-light images were used to train and validate the CNN system.The method proposed in this paper included the following two parts:(1)Location module,an object detection network,locating the classified main image feature regions of the image for subsequent classification tasks;and(2) Classification module,a traditional classification CNN,classifying the images cut out by the object detection network.RESULTS The CNN system proposed in this study achieved an overall accuracy of 82.49%,sensitivity of 80.23%,and specificity of 90.56%.In this study,after follow-up pathology,726 patients were compared for endoscopic pathology.The misdiagnosis rate of endoscopic diagnosis in the lesion invasion range was approximately 9.5%;41 patients showed no lesion invasion to the muscularis propria,but 36 of them pathologically showed invasion to the superficial muscularis propria.The patients with invasion of the tunica adventitia were all treated by surgery with an accuracy rate of 100%.For the examination of submucosal lesions,the accuracy of endoscopic ultrasonography(EUS) was approximately 99.3%.Results of this study showed that EUS had a high accuracy rate for the origin of submucosal lesions,whereas the misdiagnosis rate was slightly high in the evaluation of the invasion scope of lesions.Misdiagnosis could be due to different operating and diagnostic levels of endoscopists,unclear ultrasound probes,and unclear lesions.CONCLUSION This study is the first to recognize esophageal EUS images through deep learning,which can automatically identify the invasion depth and lesion origin of submucosal tumors and classify such tumors,thereby achieving good accuracy.In future studies,this method can provide guidance and help to clinical endoscopists. 展开更多

In order to test the bending-torsional coupled vibration characteristics of the multi-shafts gear transmission system of large power vehicles,a torsional vibration exciter was used to apply torsional excitation on the gear transmission systems and thirty-two acceleration sensors were used to measure the tangential acceleration of each shaft.Torsional vibration signals and bending vibration signals of each measuring point were obtained by calculation of the four-point-response signal.The modal parameters of gear transmission systems including nature frequency,modal shape and modal damping ratio were obtained by identifying modal parameters of the torsional vibration signal and bending vibration signal.The characteristic of the bending vibration and torsional vibration of the gear systems were studied through the analysis of the nature frequency and modal shape.The nonlinearity characteristic of the gear transmission system was investigated through single frequency excitation test,which can be the foundation for further nonlinearity research. 展开更多

METHODS Cerebral co-rtex of SD neonatal rats within 24 h was taken with stereo microscope and was cut topieces(1 mm^3),digested by Accutase and 0.1% DNAase(37℃,15 min),anddispersed cell suspension was made by mechanical method and filtered. The fibroblast cells and microglia were removed through differential adhesion and sha-ke. Passaged cells were identified by immunofluorescent with anti-Glial fibrillaryacidic protein(GFAP) antibody. RESULTS The astrocytes of rats cerebral cortex were cultured in this method,which had a large number of cells,good activity,high purity,abundant and elongated cell processes,and were interwoven into a network,showing a typical and good growth state. The third generation of the cel s comprised >95% astrocytes. CONCLUSION This simple and reliable cultivation method of astrocyte from rat cerebral tissue is established with high purity,and in a good growth condition. 展开更多

This study is conducted to measure customer recognition level of business logos in Kingdom of Bahrain in order to identify the best predictor for logo recognition in a local context.A quantitative approach and combination of descriptive and correlational research design is reflected in this study.Customers in Bahraini market whose age range is between 15 and 50 years were deemed to be research population;to form a representative sample,non-probability sampling technique was applied,specifically combination of convenient and judgmental sampling method.While in deciding the size of the sample,ratio sampling was used;total of 384 customers using confidence level of 95%were the research sample.As for data collection,the researcher used structured interview questionnaire as an instrument to extract the raw data and 16 business logos were presented equally to customers,those logos belong to four distinctive industries in Bahrain:food,medical,beauty services,and fashion.As for the demographic profile,most of customers in the sample were female(54.9%)that belonged to the age range between 18-24 years old(33%)with income range between 301 and 600 BD(41.1%)from Capital Governorate(41.9%);in term of education level most of respondents have bachelor’s degree holder(58.1%).The research concluded with significant findings,one of which was that the relationship profile revealed that all of the demographic variables inserted in the research had significant correlation with the customer’s overall logo recognition and in addition to the other aspects associated with recognition,such as logo scope recognition,logo industry recognition,and company name recognition.Moreover,it has been concluded that the scope of all medical logos in the research was mostly moderately by the customer beside many other findings. 展开更多

Because the X(3823) is just near the DˉD threshold, the decay X(3823) ! J= +?? can be a golden channel to test the significance of coupled-channel effects.
