In this study, we will explore the different factors, such as Computer Science Score and location, that might affect how much a college discusses AI, ChatGPT specifically. The objective of this paper is to study the residual ultimate strength of box beams with impact-induced damage,as a model of what may occur in ship hulls.The bottom and side plates of ship hulls can suffer denting or ...The objective of this paper is to study the residual ultimate strength of box beams with impact-induced damage,as a model of what may occur in ship hulls.The bottom and side plates of ship hulls can suffer denting or fracture damage due to grounding,collision and other contacts during the ship’s service life and these impact-induced damages could result in considerable strength degradation.Box beams are firstly subjected to impact loading and then four-point bending loading is imposed on the damaged structures to assess the residual strength using ANSYS/LS_DYNA.The ultimate moment and collapse modes are discussed considering the effect of impact location.The impact-induced deformation is introduced in the four-point bending simulation,and the impact-induced stress is included or not to determine the effect of residual stress and distortion after impact.It is shown that impact location has significant influence on the residual ultimate bending moment of the damaged box beam providing that the impact energy is kept constant.The collapse modes also change when the impactor strikes on different locations.Damaged hard corner and inclined neutral axes might explain the reduction of ultimate strength and diverse collapse modes.The residual stress in the box beam after impact may increase or decrease the ultimate strength depending on impact location.展开更多

It is a development of descriptive characteristics of location, differentiation and shape of wage distribution, but also the development of concentration characteristic of wage distribution. Gross monthly wage of Czech employees represents the variable under research. Emphasis is placed on changes in the development of wage distribution since 2009 in connection with the onset of economic recession. The economic crisis has greatly influenced the development of the wage distribution in the Czech Republic, wage growth virtually stopped at this time. Differences in the development of wage distribution between men and women in the Czech Republic are also under this research. Development of wage distribution has been studied by modelling the distribution. Three-parametric lognormal curves are served as a theoretical probability distribution whose parameters were estimated using the L-moment method of point estimate of parameters. Dependence of gross monthly wage on gender has been the subject of research as well. This dependence was researched using one-way analysis of variance. Forecast of wage distribution of men and women in the Czech Republic for the years 2012 and 2013 is included in this research.展开更多
Marine structures are frequently subjected to repeated impact loadings,resulting in failure of the structures,even causing serious accidents.The analytical expressions of dimensionless permanent deflection and impact ...Marine structures are frequently subjected to repeated impact loadings,resulting in failure of the structures,even causing serious accidents.The analytical expressions of dimensionless permanent deflection and impact force of a metal beam based on maximal normal yield surface are derived by membrane factor method(MFM),then the results are compared with repeated impact tests.It can be found that the solutions based on MFM are between the upper and lower bounds,and very close to the results of the repeated impact tests,indicating the theoretical model proposed can predict the plastic responses of the metal beam accurately.What’s more,the influences of impact location and boundary condition on the dynamic responses of the beam subjected to repeated impacts are determined.Results show that,as the distance of impact location from the middle span of the beam increases,the permanent deflection decreases,while the impact force increases.Meanwhile,the influences of impact location enhance as the impact number increases.When the permanent deflection is smaller than the thickness,the effect of boundary condition on the plastic responses is significant.However,when the deflection is larger than the thickness,the beam will be like a string and only axial force works,resulting in little influence of boundary condition on the plastic responses of the beam.展开更多
