In view of the problems faced by implementation model of cooperated rural households in terms of limited use scope, insufficient governmental policy and one-sided participation of rural households, the comprehensive e...In view of the problems faced by implementation model of cooperated rural households in terms of limited use scope, insufficient governmental policy and one-sided participation of rural households, the comprehensive evaluation index system of the feasibility of implementation model of cooperated rural households is established. From the macro-perspective, seven indexes including urban land use, township economic development stage, urbanization and township enterprise structure are selected. From the micro-perspective, 12 indexes including location situation, governance capability and economic developmental level at village level are selected. Besides, the multiple factors evaluation model is established. Taking implementation items of cooperated rural households in Hubin Village, Baijia Town of Dianjiang County as an example, the implantations items are analyzed by using the comprehensive evaluation model and the evaluation results are in accordance with actual situation. The effectiveness of the comprehensive evaluation method is proved. However, affected by the limited application scope of implementation model, insufficient policy and one-sided farmers' participation, in order to avoid copying the successful experience of completed pilot blindly, farmers are suggested to adopt the implementation model of cooperated rural households.展开更多
The stable operation of solid-state lithium metal batteries at low temperatures is plagued by severe restrictions from inferior electrolyte-electrode interface compatibility and increased energy barrier for Li^(+)migr...The stable operation of solid-state lithium metal batteries at low temperatures is plagued by severe restrictions from inferior electrolyte-electrode interface compatibility and increased energy barrier for Li^(+)migration.Herein,we prepare a dual-salt poly(tetrahydrofuran)-based electrolyte consisting of lithium hexafluorophosphate and lithium difluoro(oxalato)borate(LiDFOB).The Li-salt anions(DFOB−)not only accelerate the ring-opening polymerization of tetrahydrofuran,but also promote the formation of highly ion-conductive and sustainable interphases on Li metal anodes without sacrificing the Li^(+)conductivity of electrolytes,which is favorable for Li^(+)transport kinetics at low temperatures.Applications of this polymer electrolyte in Li||LiFePO_(4)cells show 82.3%capacity retention over 1000 cycles at 30℃and endow stable discharge capacity at−30℃.Remarkably,the Li||LiFePO4 cells retain 52%of their room-temperature capacity at−20℃and 0.1 C.This rational design of dual-salt polymer-based electrolytes may provide a new perspective for the stable operation of quasi-solid-state batteries at low temperatures.展开更多

Then, instead of using the BQST method, a protocol for controlled remote implementation of partially unknown operations belonging to some restricted sets in high-dimensional systems is proposed. Accurate hydrodynamics coefficients measurement and spatial modeling of ROV are significant for the maneuverability and control algorithm. The scaled model of ROV was constructed by 1:1.6. Hydrodynamics coefficients were measured through VPMM and LAHPMM towing test. And dynamics model was derived as a set of equations, describing nonlinear and coupled 5-DOF spatial motions. Rotation control motion was simulated to verify spatial model proposed. Research and application of hydrodynamics coefficients are expected to enable ROV to overcome uncertainty and disturbances of deepsea environment, and accomplish some more challengeable and practical missions.展开更多
AIM: To compare the causes and clinical outcome of patients with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding (AUGB) and a history of gastric surgery to those with AUGB but without a history of gastric surgery in the past.ME...AIM: To compare the causes and clinical outcome of patients with acute upper gastrointestinal bleeding (AUGB) and a history of gastric surgery to those with AUGB but without a history of gastric surgery in the past.METHODS: The causes and clinical outcome were compared between 105 patients with AUGB and a history of gastric surgery, and 608 patients with AUGB but without a history of gastric surgery.RESULTS: Patients who underwent gastric surgery in the past were older (mean age: 68.1±11.7 years vs 62.8±17.8 years, P= 0.001), and the most common cause of bleeding was marginal ulcer in 63 patients (60%). No identifiable source of bleeding could be found in 22 patients (20.9%) compared to 42/608 (6.9%) in patients without a history of gastric surgery (P = 0.003). Endoscopic hemostasis was permanently successful in 26 out of 35 patients (74.3%) with peptic ulcers and active bleeding or non-bleeding visible vessel. Nine patients (8.6%) were operated due to continuing or recurrent bleeding,compared to 23/608 (3.8%) in the group of patients without gastric surgery in the past (P= 0.028). Especially in peptic ulcer bleeding patients, emergency surgery was more common in the group of patients with gastric surgery in the past [9/73 (12.3%) vs 19/360 (5.3%), P = 0.025].Moreover surgically treated patients in the past required more blood transfusion (3.3±4.0 vs 1.5±1.7, P = 0.0001) and longer hospitalization time (8.6±4.0 vs 6.9±4.9 d,P = 0.001) than patients without a history of gastric surgery. Mortality was not different between the two groups [4/105 (3.8%) vs 19/608 (3.1%)].CONCLUSION: Upper gastrointestinal bleeding seems to be more severe in surgically treated patients than in non-operated patients.展开更多

In order to explore the possibility of implementing a trusted path mechanism with the support of trusted platform module (TPM) technologies, and to support TPM capabilities in operating systems, the paper extended the scope of the conventional trusted path to cover the situation in which a user communicates with software residing on a remote host. The paper combined the concept of operating system support for trusted path with that for TPM platforms, and proposed the architecture of an extended trusted path mechanism in operating system with considerations on TPM-capable platforms support. As part of the author's research in secure operating systems, the work of the paper was carried out with Linux as an experimental prototype system. The research result shows that TPM capabilities can strengthen extended trusted path mechanisms of operating systems.展开更多
Unmanned Remotely Operated Vehicles(ROVs)are widely used in safety-critical missions,spanning across monitoring,surveillance,and search and rescue missions.In most cases,the human operator controls the ROV under stres...Unmanned Remotely Operated Vehicles(ROVs)are widely used in safety-critical missions,spanning across monitoring,surveillance,and search and rescue missions.In most cases,the human operator controls the ROV under stressful conditions and in harsh environments.The physical and mental states of the operator are vital as they may cause involuntary movements,issuing unintentional commands due to fatigue or stress.Consequently,a joint monitoring mechanism that will assess the operator's commands can be beneficial in preventing potentially catastrophic events,such as accidents.To this end,in this study,we propose a data collection framework for creating a fused dataset,consisting of data obtained from both the human operator and the ROV,and we integrate stress induction to stimulate stress and fatigue that may affect operators during missions.We optimise the dataset,which includes the operator's physiological signals and inertial measurement unit(IMU)sensor data from the ROV,using data fusion approaches and feature extraction.We evaluate the dataset through the statistical analysis,illustrating a statistical difference between data characterising normal and involuntary commands.Finally,we evaluate the optimised and original datasets over a variety of classifiers,demonstrating an accuracy of 94%and 95%,respectively.展开更多

In this paper, we propose an overall structure for a knowl- edge base based on practical customer demand and the mechanism of the polyethylene process. First, an ontology of the polyethylene process constructed using the seven-step method is introduced as a carrier for knowledge representation and sharing. Next, a prediction method is presented for the molecular weight distribution (MWD) based on a back propagation (BP) neural network model, by analyzing the relationships between the operating conditions and the parameters of the MWD. Based on this network, a differential evolution algorithm is introduced to optimize the operating conditions by tuning the MWD. Finally, utilizing a MySQL database and the Java programming language, a knowledge base system for the operation optimization of the polyethylene process based on a browser/server framework is realized.展开更多

Firstly, we show how the non-local CNOT operation can be implemented with unit fidelity and unit probability by using a maximally entangled GHZ state as controlled quantum channel. Then, we put forward two schemes for conclusively implementing the non-local operation with unit fidelity by employing a partially entangled pure GHZ state as quantum channel. The feature of these schemes is that a third side is included, who may participate the process of quantum non-local implementation as a supervisor. Furthermore, when the quantum channel is partially entangled,the third one can rectify the state distorted by imperfect quantum channel. In addition to the GHZ class state, the W class state can also be used to implement the same non-local operation probabilistically. The probability of successful implementation using the W class state is always less than that using the GHZ class state.展开更多

A 1D multi-plate heat transfer model based on the temperature data of separator measured using thermograph in a power generation experiment was developed to evaluate the reaction surface temperature (Treact). This study investigated the effects of flow rate, relative humidity and type of supply gas as well as Tini on the temperature distribution on reaction surface. The results obtained in 02 supply case show that, the temperature rise at the segments near the outlet of cell decreases with increasing Tini irrespective of relative humidity of supply gas (RH), while it is not seen in air supply case. Regarding the segments except near the outlet in 02 supply case, Treact - Tini increases with increasing Tini for 40% RH. The temperature distribution on reaction surface in 02 supply case is wider with increasing Tini as well as decreasing RH, though that in air supply case is relatively even.展开更多

The consumptions of resource for one performance of the method are a single non-maximally entangled qutrit state and 1-trit classical communication. For a given ζ, the successful probability of the method depends on the forms of both entanglement resource and Bob's partial-measurement basis. We systematically discuss the optimal successful probabilities and their corresponding conditions for three cases: adjustable entanglement resource, adjustable partial-measurement basis, adjustable entanglement resource and partial-measurement basis. It is straightforward to generalize the method for producing nonlocal unitary operations between any two N-level systems.展开更多
This paper sets to explore management perceptions regarding the impact of operational process factors on strategy implementation in microfinance organisations in Kenya.Small and medium enterprises(SMEs)play a critical...This paper sets to explore management perceptions regarding the impact of operational process factors on strategy implementation in microfinance organisations in Kenya.Small and medium enterprises(SMEs)play a critical role in developing countries as a source of employment creation and a basis for industrialization.However,the sector receives inadequate financial support from commercial banks as it is considered to bear high risks and operational costs associate with lending small loan amounts.Microfinance organisations(MFOs)that serve this sector will need to expand their operations to increase their outreach to SMEs.Formulation and implementation of competitive strategies will enable MFOs to achieve growth and sustainability.Content,context and operational process factors appear to have a significance positive relationship to the level of strategy implementation.This paper is focusing on operational process factors impacting on strategy implementation and is part of a full study on the topic of strategy implementation in MFOs.Comprehensive literature review provided the theoretical framework for the study.Primary data were collected by means of a survey obtaining 300 self-administered questionnaires from managers in 135 MFOs in Kenya.The study revealed that the level of strategy implementation in MFOs in Kenya is moderate to high.This study has revealed that the operational process category of factors is more significant to the level of strategy implementation than content and context factors.Five operational process factors critical to strategy implementation include:operational planning and monitoring,management control systems,people-strategy fit,teamwork,and effective communication.Further,the level of strategy implementation has significance positive influence to MFOs’financial sustainability and outreach.Practical guidelines are provided to assist MFOs in developing countries to improve the level of strategy implementation by focusing on operational process factors.展开更多

In such type of hydro scheme whole generating system is isolated from the grid and supply electricity to the remote communities. The single point operation of these generators is realized, in such a manner that excitation capacitors, speeds, load, voltage, currents of generators remain constant under various operating conditions. The proposed controller consists of a 3-leg IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) based voltage source converter (VSC) and a DC chopper with an auxiliary load at the DC bus of the VSC. The IELC controls the reactive and active powers simultaneously for controlling the voltage and frequency under varying consumer loads. Along with voltage and frequency control through single point operation of IAGs driven by uncontrolled pico hydro turbines, the IELC meets the power quality standard an IEEE-519 and it keeps the total harmonic distortion (THD) of the terminal voltage and currents within the limit of 5%. Here the proposed electrical system along with its controller is modeled in MATLAB along with Simulink and PSB (Power System Block-set) toolboxes. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the capability of proposed controller for an isolated generating system.展开更多

文摘Trusted path is one of the crucial features that operating systems must provide for fundamental security support. In order to explore the possibility of implementing a trusted path mechanism with the support of trusted platform module (TPM) technologies, and to support TPM capabilities in operating systems, the paper extended the scope of the conventional trusted path to cover the situation in which a user communicates with software residing on a remote host. The paper combined the concept of operating system support for trusted path with that for TPM platforms, and proposed the architecture of an extended trusted path mechanism in operating system with considerations on TPM-capable platforms support. As part of the author's research in secure operating systems, the work of the paper was carried out with Linux as an experimental prototype system. The research result shows that TPM capabilities can strengthen extended trusted path mechanisms of operating systems.

文摘Unmanned Remotely Operated Vehicles(ROVs)are widely used in safety-critical missions,spanning across monitoring,surveillance,and search and rescue missions.In most cases,the human operator controls the ROV under stressful conditions and in harsh environments.The physical and mental states of the operator are vital as they may cause involuntary movements,issuing unintentional commands due to fatigue or stress.Consequently,a joint monitoring mechanism that will assess the operator's commands can be beneficial in preventing potentially catastrophic events,such as accidents.To this end,in this study,we propose a data collection framework for creating a fused dataset,consisting of data obtained from both the human operator and the ROV,and we integrate stress induction to stimulate stress and fatigue that may affect operators during missions.We optimise the dataset,which includes the operator's physiological signals and inertial measurement unit(IMU)sensor data from the ROV,using data fusion approaches and feature extraction.We evaluate the dataset through the statistical analysis,illustrating a statistical difference between data characterising normal and involuntary commands.Finally,we evaluate the optimised and original datasets over a variety of classifiers,demonstrating an accuracy of 94%and 95%,respectively.
文摘Setting up a knowledge base is a helpful way to optimize the operation of the polyethylene process by improving the performance and the ef ciency of reuse of information and knowledge two critical ele- ments in polyethylene smart manufacturing. In this paper, we propose an overall structure for a knowl- edge base based on practical customer demand and the mechanism of the polyethylene process. First, an ontology of the polyethylene process constructed using the seven-step method is introduced as a carrier for knowledge representation and sharing. Next, a prediction method is presented for the molecular weight distribution (MWD) based on a back propagation (BP) neural network model, by analyzing the relationships between the operating conditions and the parameters of the MWD. Based on this network, a differential evolution algorithm is introduced to optimize the operating conditions by tuning the MWD. Finally, utilizing a MySQL database and the Java programming language, a knowledge base system for the operation optimization of the polyethylene process based on a browser/server framework is realized.

文摘In order to analyze the spatial maneuverability of the remotely operated underwater vehicle(ROV),the 6-DOF motion mathematic model of the ROV was founded.Hydrodynamics were analyzed by using the Taylor series.The thrusters on the ROV were discussed.This paper considers three cases of motion simulation:vertical motion,rotational motion and Z-shape motion.A series of simulation experiments showed that the 6-DOF motion mathematic model was correct and reliable,and also fit with the scene simulation.
文摘A risk management program based on ASeNZS4360 risk management standards was developed and implemented in the operating room of Peking University Third Hospital.To accomplish this task,we developed a risk quantification matrix and a risk register form to identify potential risks in the operating room,and then implemented operating room policies designed to reduce or eliminate those risks.We also established a consultation mechanism and risk monitoring system designed to minimize risks to operation room nurses.Finally,we continuously seek to improve our operating room risk management capabilities,so we can continue to improve the quality of service provided and guarantee the safety of surgical patients.

文摘By constructing the recovery operations of the protocol of remote implementation of partially unknownquantum operation of two qubits[An-Min Wang:Phys.Rev.A 74(2006)032317]with two-qubit Cnot gate and singlequbit logic gates,we present a scheme to implement it in cavity QED.Long-lived Rydberg atoms are used as qubits,and the interaction between the atoms and the field of cavity is a nonresonant one.Finally,we analyze the experimentalfeasibility of this scheme.
文摘We investigate the controlled implementation of a non-local CNOT operation using a three-qubit entangled state. Firstly, we show how the non-local CNOT operation can be implemented with unit fidelity and unit probability by using a maximally entangled GHZ state as controlled quantum channel. Then, we put forward two schemes for conclusively implementing the non-local operation with unit fidelity by employing a partially entangled pure GHZ state as quantum channel. The feature of these schemes is that a third side is included, who may participate the process of quantum non-local implementation as a supervisor. Furthermore, when the quantum channel is partially entangled,the third one can rectify the state distorted by imperfect quantum channel. In addition to the GHZ class state, the W class state can also be used to implement the same non-local operation probabilistically. The probability of successful implementation using the W class state is always less than that using the GHZ class state.
文摘This study is to understand the impact of operating condition, especially initial operation temperature (Tini) which is set in high temperature range, on the temperature profile of the interface between PEM (polymer electrolyte membrane) and catalyst layer at the cathode (i.e., the reaction surface) in a single PEFC (polymer electrolyte fuel cell). A 1D multi-plate heat transfer model based on the temperature data of separator measured using thermograph in a power generation experiment was developed to evaluate the reaction surface temperature (Treact). This study investigated the effects of flow rate, relative humidity and type of supply gas as well as Tini on the temperature distribution on reaction surface. The results obtained in 02 supply case show that, the temperature rise at the segments near the outlet of cell decreases with increasing Tini irrespective of relative humidity of supply gas (RH), while it is not seen in air supply case. Regarding the segments except near the outlet in 02 supply case, Treact - Tini increases with increasing Tini for 40% RH. The temperature distribution on reaction surface in 02 supply case is wider with increasing Tini as well as decreasing RH, though that in air supply case is relatively even.

文摘We propose a method to probabilistically implement a nonlocal operation, exp[iζUAUB], between two distant qutrits A and B, where ζ∈ C [0,2π] and UA, UB are local unitary and Hermitian operations for qutrits A and B respectively. The consumptions of resource for one performance of the method are a single non-maximally entangled qutrit state and 1-trit classical communication. For a given ζ, the successful probability of the method depends on the forms of both entanglement resource and Bob's partial-measurement basis. We systematically discuss the optimal successful probabilities and their corresponding conditions for three cases: adjustable entanglement resource, adjustable partial-measurement basis, adjustable entanglement resource and partial-measurement basis. It is straightforward to generalize the method for producing nonlocal unitary operations between any two N-level systems.
文摘This paper sets to explore management perceptions regarding the impact of operational process factors on strategy implementation in microfinance organisations in Kenya.Small and medium enterprises(SMEs)play a critical role in developing countries as a source of employment creation and a basis for industrialization.However,the sector receives inadequate financial support from commercial banks as it is considered to bear high risks and operational costs associate with lending small loan amounts.Microfinance organisations(MFOs)that serve this sector will need to expand their operations to increase their outreach to SMEs.Formulation and implementation of competitive strategies will enable MFOs to achieve growth and sustainability.Content,context and operational process factors appear to have a significance positive relationship to the level of strategy implementation.This paper is focusing on operational process factors impacting on strategy implementation and is part of a full study on the topic of strategy implementation in MFOs.Comprehensive literature review provided the theoretical framework for the study.Primary data were collected by means of a survey obtaining 300 self-administered questionnaires from managers in 135 MFOs in Kenya.The study revealed that the level of strategy implementation in MFOs in Kenya is moderate to high.This study has revealed that the operational process category of factors is more significant to the level of strategy implementation than content and context factors.Five operational process factors critical to strategy implementation include:operational planning and monitoring,management control systems,people-strategy fit,teamwork,and effective communication.Further,the level of strategy implementation has significance positive influence to MFOs’financial sustainability and outreach.Practical guidelines are provided to assist MFOs in developing countries to improve the level of strategy implementation by focusing on operational process factors.
文摘This paper presents an investigation on a voltage and frequency controller (VFC), which functions as an improved elec-tronic load controller (IELC) for parallel operated isolated asynchronous generators (IAGs) in an autonomous hydro power generation system. In such type of hydro scheme whole generating system is isolated from the grid and supply electricity to the remote communities. The single point operation of these generators is realized, in such a manner that excitation capacitors, speeds, load, voltage, currents of generators remain constant under various operating conditions. The proposed controller consists of a 3-leg IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) based voltage source converter (VSC) and a DC chopper with an auxiliary load at the DC bus of the VSC. The IELC controls the reactive and active powers simultaneously for controlling the voltage and frequency under varying consumer loads. Along with voltage and frequency control through single point operation of IAGs driven by uncontrolled pico hydro turbines, the IELC meets the power quality standard an IEEE-519 and it keeps the total harmonic distortion (THD) of the terminal voltage and currents within the limit of 5%. Here the proposed electrical system along with its controller is modeled in MATLAB along with Simulink and PSB (Power System Block-set) toolboxes. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the capability of proposed controller for an isolated generating system.

文摘After six years of development,the number of farmer cooperatives in Yanbian area was increased from 72 in 2007 to 2600 in 2012.It has become an important part of local modern agricultural operation.Through the survey and research of current status of farmer cooperatives in Yanbian area,we analyze the deficiencies in capital,technology and human resources during the operating to thoroughly understand its operating status.On this basis,we put forth some recommendations for the development of farmer cooperatives in Yanbian area:implementing industrialization operation;developing long-term development strategy;seeking the support of research institutions and colleges;increasing the types of services;enhancing the value-added.

When operated at high temperature, the temperature distribution is relatively flat in the case of thicker PEM (Nafion 115), while Treact rises from the inlet to the outlet large and the temperature distribution is wide in the case of thin PEM (Nafion 211) irrespective of relative humidity condition. Since the water transfer through PEM in the case of Nafion 211 is better than Nafion 115 due to thin PEM, the power generation is promoted along the gas flow with the aid of humidification by water produced from electrochemical reaction.
