Auspicious patterns are an important manifestation of traditional crafts aesthetics for Chinese culture, and it not only exhibits the clever tricks of folk art, showing more personality and characteristics of Chinese culture in the humanities and arts aesthetic concerns. It shows the traditional aesthetics, based on the harmonious and success, constructed by intelligence and humbleness, shaped by symmetry and balance. This thesis contains two topics: they are the 2D image materialization and the 3D model flattening. First is analyzing the image of the auspicious pattern, and transformed the 2D image into a solid model. The second is through the mathematical operation skills of the geometric model, the existing auspicious 3D model of the triangular mesh is scaled, appropriately rotated and divided to form a flattening model of different visual effects. Finally, these models by means of other modeling software were combined into a new 3D model, then through the 3D printer to quickly print out part of the unique personalized products, to promote the natural beauty of traditional Chinese culture. 展开更多

Evaluation and Improvement of an Organizational Resource Applying Strategy Patterns

For any software company that frequently performs quality assurance activities devoted to measurement, evaluation (ME) and change/improvement (MEC) projects, ME and MEC strategies can be valuable organizational assets... For any software company that frequently performs quality assurance activities devoted to measurement, evaluation (ME) and change/improvement (MEC) projects, ME and MEC strategies can be valuable organizational assets. In this paper, we analyze the improvement of a ME strategy, which can be considered an organizational resource to be applied to quality assurance activities. This resource is called the GOCAME (Goal-Oriented Context-Aware Measurement and Evaluation) strategy. AME/MEC strategy embraces the next three integrated capabilities: 1) the ME/MEC domain conceptual base and framework;2) the process perspective specifications;and, 3) the method specifications. The improvement of GOCAME was performed instantiating two strategy patterns. A strategy pattern is a reusable solution to recurrent problems in ME/MEC projects. For an improvement goal, the selected MEC strategy pattern allows instantiating in a project a set of tailored activities and methods for measurement, evaluation, analysis and change. Particularly, we instantiate the GoME_1QV (Goal-oriented Measurement and Evaluation for One Quality View) strategy pattern to understand the GOCAME current quality state and compare it with the so-called GQM+ Strategies. First, this evaluation and analysis allows us to know the GOCAME strengths and weaknesses with regard to the quality of the three capabilities. Second, we instantiate the GoMEC_1QV (Goal-oriented Measurement, Evaluation and Change for One Quality View) strategy pattern to improve the GOCAME current state, producing as result a new version of the GOCAME strategy. 展开更多

The compensation volume can be dispersed for easy calculation. Research works on width compensation and correction were carried out in order to eliminate the effects of the PVPC ( plan view pattern control) on width accuracy of plate mill. The thickness correction calculation formula was derived for compensation the width deviation caused by PVPC function, and the formula is unified under the thinning and thickening conditions. In order to improve the width calculation accuracy, width spread calculation process was modified with dividing one large reduction pass to several small reduction calculation steps. The thickness wedge was simplified to rectangle based on the volume constant principle, and the width spread model for PVPC was constructed. The width compensation and correction for the PVPC functions are used for the online control process, and the Product dimension accuracy is improved. With the decrease of Crop losses, the Droduct yield was increased with 0. 2%. 展开更多

An automatic three-dimensional(3D) reconstruction method based on four-view stereo vision using checkerboard pattern is presented. Mismatches easily exist in traditional binocular stereo matching due to the repeatable or similar features of binocular images. In order to reduce the probability of mismatching and improve the measure precision, a four-camera measurement system which can add extra matching constraints and offer multiple measurements is applied in this work. Moreover, a series of different checkerboard patterns are projected onto the object to obtain dense feature points and remove mismatched points. Finally, the 3D model is generated by performing Delaunay triangulation and texture mapping on the point cloud obtained by four-view matching. This method was tested on the 3D reconstruction of a terracotta soldier sculpture and the Buddhas in the Mogao Grottoes. Their point clouds without mismatched points were obtained and less processing time was consumed in most cases relative to binocular matching. These good reconstructed models show the effectiveness of the method. 展开更多

Urban landscape is directly perceived by residents and is a significant symbol of urbanization development.A comprehensive assessment of urban landscapes is crucial for guiding the development of inclusive,resilient,and sustainable cities and human settlements.Previous studies have primarily analyzed two-dimensional landscape indicators derived from satellite remote sensing,potentially overlooking the valuable insights provided by the three-dimensional configuration of landscapes.This limitation arises from the high cost of acquiring large-area three-dimensional data and the lack of effective assessment indicators.Here,we propose four urban landscapes indicators in three dimensions(UL3D):greenness,grayness,openness,and crowding.We construct the UL3D using 4.03 million street view images from 303 major cities in China,employing a deep learning approach.We combine urban background and two-dimensional urban landscape indicators with UL3D to predict the socioeconomic profiles of cities.The results show that UL3D indicators differs from two-dimensional landscape indicators,with a low average correlation coefficient of 0.31 between them.Urban landscapes had a changing point in2018–2019 due to new urbanization initiatives,with grayness and crowding rates slowing,while openness increased.The incorporation of UL3D indicators significantly enhances the explanatory power of the regression model for predicting socioeconomic profiles.Specifically,GDP per capita,urban population rate,built-up area per capita,and hospital count correspond to improvements of 25.0%,19.8%,35.5%,and 19.2%,respectively.These findings indicate that UL3D indicators have the potential to reflect the socioeconomic profiles of cities. 展开更多
