The microstructural evolution and phase transformations during partial remelting of in-situ Mg2Sip/AM60B composite modified by SiC and Sr were investigated. The results indicate that SiC and Sr are effective for refining primary α-Mg grains and Mg2Si particles. After being partially remelted, a semisolid microstructure with small and spheroidal primary α-Mg particles can be obtained. The microstructural evolution during partial remelting can be divided into four stages: the initial rapid coarsening, structural separation, spheroidization and final coarsening, which are essentially caused by the phase transformations of β→α, α+β→L and α→L, α→L, and α→L and L→α, respectively. The Mg2Si particles have not obvious effect on the general microstructural evolution steps, but can slower the evolution progress and change the coarsening mechanism. During partial remelting, Mg2Si particles first become blunt and then become spheroidal because of melting of their edges and corners, and finally are coarsened owing to Ostwald ripening. 展开更多

The phase transformation activation energy of the Cu61.13Zn33.94A14.93 alloys, which were treated at 4 GPa and 700 ℃ for 15 minutes, was calculated by means of differential scanning calorimetry curves obtained at various heating and cooling rates. Then, the effects of high-pressure heat treatments on the solid-state phase transformation and the microstructures of Cu61.13Zn33.94A14.93 alloys were investigated. The results show that high-pressure heat treatments can refine the grains and can change the preferred orientation from (111) to (200) of α phase. Compared with the as-cast alloy, the sample with high-pressure heat treatment has finer grains, lower β'→β and/β→β' transformation temperature and activation energy. Furthermore, we found that high cooling rate favours the formation of fine needle-like α phase in the range of 5-20℃/min. 展开更多

Based on the tests of a build-up welding at plate edge (BWPE) and amulti-layer build-up welding on plate (MBWP), the article studies on the solid-state phasetransformations which affect welding distortion process and on the influence rule of transformationstarting temperature (TST) of welded metal to the welding residual distortion. The weldingdistortion can be decreased or controlled by the transformation volume expansion caused bysolid-state phase transformation of welded metal during the cooling. The test results of BWPE showthat when TST is at about 190 deg C, the bending distortion of welded specimen is the smallest, andits displacements at free end are decreased to 58 percent and 67 percent compared with those ofconventional welding electrodes A102 and E5015, which TST are less than room temperature and equalto 758 deg C respectively. The test results of MBWP show that when TST were at 100 approx 250 deg C.the welded specimen would appear reversible bending distortion compared with those of A102 andE5015. The maximum deflection value of reversible bending distortion in 8 mm thick plate is -2.94 mmat about 170 deg C of TST. The test results provide a valuable method to decrease or to controlwelding residual distortion. 展开更多

The results show that the α phase with smaller grain size, different shape and random distribution appears in the Cu-Zn alloy, when the solid-state phase transformation generation in the Cu-Zn alloy under 25~750 ℃ and 3~6 GPa high pressure, and the volume fraction of transformation phase decreases with increasing pressure, under high pressure (6 GPa), the changes of microstructure of Cu-Zn alloy is not obvious. A novel technology of preparing zeolites based on solid-solid mass transformation mechanism is developed for the first time. By employing this technology, three different types of highly crystallized pentasil zeolites, ZSM-35 (FER-type), Silicalite-1(MFI-type) and Mordenite(MOR-type), are successfully synthesized in the solid system. In terms of commercial production, the technology-could simplify synthesis procedure and make the continuous production of zeolites possible, so as to improve the productivity. Additionally, it is environmentally friendly because the crystallization occurs in solid phase where there exists no pollution caused by waste liquid. Therefore, this technique provides us with a new industrial process for the clean and continuous production of zeolites. The characteristics in synthesis chemistry and the crystallization mechanism involved in the technology are also discussed. 展开更多

Inconel 718 is the most popular nickel-based superalloy and is extensively used in aerospace,automotive,and energy indus-tries owing to its extraordinary thermomechanical properties.The effects of different two-step solid solution treatments on microstructure andδphase precipitation of Inconel 718 alloy were studied,and the transformation mechanism fromγ″metastable phase toδphase was clarified.The precipitates were statistically analyzed by X-ray diffractometry.The results show that theδphase content firstly increased,and then decreased with the temperature of the second-step solid solution.The changes in microstructure andδphase were studied by scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.An intragranularδphase formed in Inconel 718 alloy at the second-[100]_(δ)[011]γ step solid solution temperature of 925℃,and its orientation relationship withγmatrix was determined as//and(010)_(δ)//(111)γ.Furthermore,the Vickers hardness of different heat treatment samples was measured,and the sample treated by second-step solid solution at 1010℃ reached the maximum hardness of HV 446.84. 展开更多

The nanosized zirconia was synthesized via solid state reaction in the presence of surfactant. The results indicate that crystal phase of zirconia can be controlled by tuning the synthesis parameters such as OH^-/Zr molar ratio, crystallizing temperature and time. It can be transformed among amorphous, tetragonal and monoclinic phases. The transformation is driven by particle size. The research shows the nanocrystalline zirconia possesses the higher thermal stability compared with amorphous framework. The "glow exotherm" can be observed for the amorphous samples. Otherwise, it is in the absence for nanocrystalline samples. Herein, the reason for retention of tetragonal zirconia is demonstrated. 展开更多

The microstructural evolution and phase transformations of mechanically stirred non-dendritic ZA27 alloy during partial remelting were studied by using scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction technique.The partial remelting temperature was 460℃ and lower than the stirring temperature of 465℃.So the microstructure with globular grains needed for semi-solid forming can not be obtained and the starting primary non-dendritic grains change in turn to connect non-dendritic grains, long chain-like structures and finally to coarsen connect grains.However,the small near-equiaxed grains between the primary non-dendritic grains are evolved into small globular grains gradually,some of which are also attached to the primary non-dendritic grains during the subsequent heating.The X-ray diffraction results show that a series of phase transformations, α+η+ε→β,η+β→L,β→α′+L,α+η+ε→α′ and α′→L, occur successively during this process.The main reason why the starting primary non-dendritic grains do not separate into the needed independent globular grains is that the reactions of η+β→L and α′→L do not occur or occurr incompletely in the layers used to connect the primary non-dendritic grains. 展开更多

According to the variation of the ferrite formation rate, an abnormal y—>a phase transformation was recognized, while normal reaction, i.e. one peak continuous reaction, was also detected. The occurrence the one or the other type of y—?a transformation strongly depends on the grain size: the transformation type changes from abnormal to normal with decreasing grain size. In the abnormal transformation process the first stage of the transformation corresponds to the first peaks in the transformation rate, which are not thermally activated. 展开更多

All-solid-state lithium batteries(ASSLBs)based on sulfide electrolytes promise next-generation energy storage with high energy density and safety.However,the sulfide electrolytes suffer from phase instability and sluggish interfacial charge transport when pairing with layered oxide cathodes at high voltages.Herein,a simple and efficient strategy is proposed using two-dimensional Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene as starting material to in-situ construct a 15 nm Li_(2)TiO_(3) layer on a typical oxide cathode,LiCoO_(2).The in-situ transformation of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)into Li_(2)TiO_(3) layer occurs at a low temperature of 500℃,avoiding the phase deterioration of LiCoO_(2).The thin Li_(2)TiO_(3) layer is Li^(+)conducting and electrochemically stable,thereby preventing the interfacial decomposition of sulfide electrolytes induced by LiCoO_(2) at high voltages and facilitating Li+transport at the interface.Moreover,Li_(2)TiO_(3) can stabilize the layer structure of LiCoO_(2) at high voltages.Consequently,the sulfide-based ASSLB using LiCoO_(2)@Li_(2)TiO_(3) cathode can operate stably at a high voltage of up to 4.5 V(vs.Li+/Li),delivering an outstanding initial specific discharge capacity of 138.8 m Ah/g with a high capacity retention of 86.2% after 100 cycles at 0.2 C.The in-situ transformation strategy may also apply to other MXenes,offering a general approach for constructing other advanced lithiated coatings for oxide cathodes. 展开更多

The mathematical features of the linear form of the equation are clarified and analytical solution of the linearized equation is gotten by means of Laplace transform. According to above theoretical results, the effects of particles' properties on its motion in several typical flow field are studied, with some meaningful conclusions being reached. 展开更多

The iron tailings of Bayan Obo mines are solid waste,which occupies land area and also causes environmental pollution;however,this waste can be recycled.In this study,based on the characteristics of iron minerals and fluorocarbonate contained in Bayan Obo iron tailings,clean magnetization roasting of iron minerals by bastnaesite from iron tailings during in-situ suspension magnetization roasting in a neutral atmosphere was explored.The results show that for iron tailings with a mass of 12 g,a N_(2) gas flow rate of 600 mL/min,and roasting for 5 min at 800℃,iron concentrate with a 60.44%iron grade at an iron recovery of 76.04%could be obtained.X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the weak magnetic hematite was reduced to strong magnetic magnetite in the neutral atmosphere,without additional reductant.The kinetics of the magnetization roasting of mineral mixtures(bastnaesite and hematite)in a neutral atmosphere showed that the optimal reaction mechanism function was the three-dimensional diffusion model with activation energy of 161.8838 kJ·mol^(-1);this indicates that the reaction was a heterogeneous,diffusion-controlled solid-state reaction. 展开更多

The nanocrystalline Bi2O3-Y2O3 solid electrolyte material was synthesized by pressureless reactive sintering process with Bi2O3 and Y2O3 nano mixed powder as raw materials, which was prepared by a chemical coprecipitation process. The study on the behavior of nano δ-Bi2O3 formation and its grain growth showed that the solid solution reaction of Y2O3 and δ-Bi2O3 to form δ-Bi2O3 occurs mainly in the initial stage of sintering process, and nano δ-Bi2O3 crystal grains grow approximately following the rule of paracurve ((D-D0)^2=K.t) during sintering process. After sintered at 600℃ for 2 h, the samples could reach above 96% in relative density and have dense microstructure with few remaining pores, the δ-Bi2O3 grains are less than 100 nm in size. 展开更多

To improve separation efficiency of the photogenerated electron-hole pairs,constructing a heterojunction is considered to be a promising strategy.However,the fabrication of heterojunction via a facile route to achieve a substantial improvement in photocatalytic performance is still challenging.In this work,a well-designed nanosheet-based rodlike step-scheme(S-scheme)heterojunction Bi_(4)O_(5)I_(2)/Bi_(4)O_(5)Br_(2) with rich oxygen vacancies(OVs)(Bi_(4)O_(5)I_(2)/Bi_(4)O_(5)Br_(2)-OV)was easily synthesized by calcining BiOAc0.6Br0.2I0.2(Ac-=CH3 COO-)precursor.The as-prepared Bi4O5I2/Bi4O5Br2-OV exhibited excellent visible light photocatalytic performance towards antibiotic tetracycline(TC)and dye rhodamine B(Rh B)degradation and removal rate reached 90.2% and 97.0%within 120 min,respectively,which was higher than those of Bi4O5I2-OV(56.8% and 71.8%),Bi4O5Br2-OV(47.4%and 68.4%),solid solution BiOAc0.6Br0.2I0.2(67.0% and 84.0%)and Bi_(4)O_(5)I_(2)/Bi_(4)O_(5)Br_(2) with poor oxygen vacancies(Bi4O5I2/Bi4O5Br2-P)(30.6%and 40.4%).Owing to the release of heat and generation of reducing carbon during calcining the precursor with Ac-,it could not only reduce the generation temperature of Bi-rich bismuth oxyhalides,which thus decreased particle size and increased surface areas,but also introduce surface OVs,which could trap photoelectrons and inhibit the recombination of carriers.In addition,the calcination of single solid solution precursor benefited to the formation of well-alloyed interfaces with larger contact areas between 2D/2D nanosheet-like materials,which facilitates charge carriers transfer at the interfaces.The Bi4O5I2/Bi4O5Br2-OV also shows the desirable removal rate for TC and Rh B in actual wastewater or in the presence of some electrolytes.This study provides an effective and simple strategy for designing OVs modified Bi-rich oxyhalides heterojunctions. 展开更多

本文综述了锆及其合金在高压环境静水压力条件下ω相变的研究进展,系统阐述了锆及其合金固态相变类别,包括马氏体相变、块状相变、第二相析出及ω相变的机理及析出行为,重点介绍了高压诱导ω相的相转变条件、相变对组织性能的影响及高... 本文综述了锆及其合金在高压环境静水压力条件下ω相变的研究进展,系统阐述了锆及其合金固态相变类别,包括马氏体相变、块状相变、第二相析出及ω相变的机理及析出行为,重点介绍了高压诱导ω相的相转变条件、相变对组织性能的影响及高压ω相形成机制的研究现状。从研究进展可知,当压力大于3 GPa时,高压将诱导锆合金中ω相的形成;当基体中存在ω相时,微观组织发生显著细化;当含有ω相的晶粒尺寸小于100 nm时,基体硬度及强度增大,塑性减小;ω相可显著提升锆合金的超导性能;目前高压ω相形成机制存在三类观点,分歧主要集中在中间相形成及α‖ω的取向关系。基于当前研究现状,本文指出了锆合金高压诱导ω相转变机理需进一步完善,并对后续锆合金ω相的研究方向进行了展望。 展开更多
