Methods: A self-made questionnaire was used to randomly survey 1558 elderly individuals at community health service centers in 8 urban districts where elderly care centers were planned to be built. The influencing factors of the different characteristics of elderly care service needs from three aspects were analyzed using a dichotomous logistic regression model: predisposing, enabling, and, need factors. Results: 69.7% of the elderly required home care services, 22.8% wanted to get care services at elderly care centers, 15.9% wanted to get care services at nursing homes, 12.3% required community care services, and 7.4% didn’t know where to access care services. 68.5% of the elderly required care services for disabilities/semi-disabilities, 58.0% for dementia, 54.7% for common diseases, 34.9% for rehabilitation training, 33.0% for plumbing care, and 7.5% for hospice care. At the same time, there were urban- rural differences in the demand for elderly care services, with suburban elderly having a higher demand for care services than those living in urban areas (P < 0.05). The elderly’s demand for care services was mainly related to age, place of residence, and gender in the causative factors, mode of residence and physical condition among able factors, and mode of care services and care needs among need factors (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The demand for elderly care services was differentiated by factors including place of residence, age, and gender. It is crucial to accurately match the demand for elderly care services, innovate the mode of elderly care services, and improve the service quality to improve the elderly health service system.展开更多

In this article,we use three-stage DEA model to carry out empirical research of the supply efficiency of rural public service in 31 provinces and regions of China. The results show that if without control over exogenous environment variables and random brunt, the classic DEA method will overestimate the rural public service efficiency; after controlling the impact of the external environmental factors, the mean of supply efficiency of rural public service in 31 provinces and regions of China is 0. 697; the improved rural per capita income, population density, population size and the educational level of residents,is a significantly favorable factor for enhancing the supply efficiency of rural public service, while the increase in the proportion of fiscal spending on rural public service to GDP plays no significant role in improving the rural public service efficiency; according to their efficiency type, the provinces and regions should adopt some measures, such as improving the management level or expanding the supply scale,to improve the supply efficiency.展开更多

Methods: Twenty female patients with AN (median age = 30.0 years, quartile deviation = 6.8) and forty female healthy controls (HC) (median age = 30.0 years, quartile deviation = 8.6) participated in the study. QOL was assessed with the 36-Item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36) and social support was evaluated using the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). Clinical symptoms were evaluated with the Structured Interview Guide for the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (SIGH-D) and the Eating Disorder Inventory-2 (EDI-2). Results: Scores of the SF-36 Mental Component Summary (MCS) (U = 124.0, P U = 223.0, P = 0.006) and scores of total (U = 108.0, P < 0.0001) and subscales of the MSPSS were lower in AN group than HC group, and the SIGH-D score was higher (U = 46.0, P ρ = −0.565, P < 0.05) and subscales of the EDI-2 Interoceptive Confusion (ρ = −0.556, P ρ = −0.581, P ρ = −0.617, P < 0.05) were negatively correlated to MCS, and score of Interoceptive Confusion subscale showed a negative correlation to RCS (ρ = −0.672, P < 0.05). Moreover, stepwise regression analysis showed that the SIGH-D score was an independent predictor of MCS and Interoceptive Confusion score predicted RCS. Conclusion: These results suggest that among a variety of clinical symptoms and psychopathologies, depressive symptoms, poor emotional awareness and impaired sense of control are the most important influencing factors on AN patients’ QOL.展开更多

A researc...Reliable service life data of building products are of great importance when completing environmental LCA (life cycle assessment) reviews, for LCC (life cycle costing) and for maintenance planning tasks. A research project was set up to answer the following research questions: (1) what are reliable service life data of current used building products; and (2) how can generic data about the service lives of building products be tailored to specific project circumstances using the "factor method" described in the ISO (International Standard Organization) 15686 Series: "Buildings and Constructed Assets-Service-Life Planning". Experts of industry organisations for building materials and products made a final judgement of the new established reference service lives. Reference service lives of building products may show a large unknown bandwidth around the average. That will make the bandwidth of estimated service lives, taking the project situation of building components into account, very big. Experts have raised objections to the use the factor method for deriving mathematically a bandwidth of estimated service lives of a building product from the reference service life of the product. A practical analytical application of the factor method has been made by describing all factors and underlying criteria and a reference situation.展开更多

The aim of this study was to provide a theoretical basis for targeted intervention of influencing factors of chronic diseases and improvement of the quality of life of patients. Methods: A total of 1000 elderly patients with chronic diseases in our health center were randomly selected as the study subject. Questionnaire survey was conducted by self-designed questionnaire. The SF-36 quality of life scale was used to evaluate their quality of life;and linear regression model was used to explore the relevant influencing factors. Result: The SF-36 score showed that there was a correlation between the six dimensions, including overall health, physiological function, somatic pain, vitality, social function and mental health, and the number of chronic diseases in elderly patients. With the increase of chronic diseases, the scores of each dimension showed a downward trend. Linear regression analysis showed that age, anxiety and poor sleep quality were the main factors affecting the quality of life in elderly patients with chronic diseases. Conclusion: The quality of life of elderly patients with chronic diseases in our city is poor. In community work, targeted nursing and intervention should be given according to the types of diseases suffered by the elderly.展开更多

文摘Improving the supply efficiency of rural public service is an important way to solve the severe shortage of rural public service. In this article,we use three-stage DEA model to carry out empirical research of the supply efficiency of rural public service in 31 provinces and regions of China. The results show that if without control over exogenous environment variables and random brunt, the classic DEA method will overestimate the rural public service efficiency; after controlling the impact of the external environmental factors, the mean of supply efficiency of rural public service in 31 provinces and regions of China is 0. 697; the improved rural per capita income, population density, population size and the educational level of residents,is a significantly favorable factor for enhancing the supply efficiency of rural public service, while the increase in the proportion of fiscal spending on rural public service to GDP plays no significant role in improving the rural public service efficiency; according to their efficiency type, the provinces and regions should adopt some measures, such as improving the management level or expanding the supply scale,to improve the supply efficiency.

文摘Objective: The purpose of this study was to elucidate clinical factors influencing quality of life (QOL) in anorexia nervosa (AN) patients. Conclusion: These results suggest that among a variety of clinical symptoms and psychopathologies, depressive symptoms, poor emotional awareness and impaired sense of control are the most important influencing factors on AN patients’ QOL.
文摘Reliable service life data of building products are of great importance when completing environmental LCA (life cycle assessment) reviews, for LCC (life cycle costing) and for maintenance planning tasks. A practical analytical application of the factor method has been made by describing all factors and underlying criteria and a reference situation.

文摘Objective: To analyze and discuss the quality of life of elderly patients with chronic diseases and its influencing factors. In community work, targeted nursing and intervention should be given according to the types of diseases suffered by the elderly.
