This paper considers the following problem; Due to the capacity limitation of each single web server, it is impossible to put all information resources on one web server. Hence it is an important problem to put them on several different servers such as: (1) the amount of information resources assigned on any server is less than its capacity; (2) the access bottleneck can be avoided. In order to solve the problem in which the access frequency is variable, this paper proposes a dynamic optimal modeling. Based on the computational complexity results, the paper further focuses on the genetic algorithm for solving the dynamic problem. Finally we give the simulation results and conclusions.展开更多

This paper analyzes the concept and information characteristics of the ubiquitous map. Based on that, it proposes a ubiquitous map information organization model oriented to location-based aggregation. This new model includes three parts as “ubiquitous map instance”, “location-based aggregation mode” and “map scene”. This paper focuses on the “map scene” part which is the core of the model and contains two mutually mapped aspects as “content scene” and “representation scene”. And both aspects are divided into three levels as “features” ←→ “elements” ←→ “scenes” according to ubiquitous map information characteristics and location-based aggregation mode. With cases of map decomposition, the application of the model is explained to illustrate its effectiveness. The model is expected to provide powerful data organization and management capabilities for ubiquitous map production and use. </div>展开更多

The model deals with variable relationships within an organization and provides a framework for overall organizational design that may include relationship among different design variables and external relationship with environment. Based on the researches of virtual organization, this paper also illustrates the new model of organization in the real world such as Beijing 2008 Olympic games and Dongfeng Automobile group.展开更多

Considering electronic map features, the paper also proposes a method for spatial date organization, which integrates Digital Landscape Model and Digital Cartographic Model, and a hybrid model between vector and raster spatial data. Then, the paper studies information visualization mechanism of multimedia electronic map. Finally, the paper certifies the results via a case of multimedia electronic map authoring tools software—Atlas2005.展开更多

The CNRS, a leading research organization in Europe and signatory of the Berlin Declaration, has an evident strategic role to play in this development. Various initiatives that have emerged in the French academic world in recent years have led, for example, in early 2005 to the joint announcement, by four major research institutions, of a common policy to promote open access to published material and other types of digital resources, and to set up institutional archives. The article highlights some key issues of this policy, gives an overview of the current and past CNRS involvement in open access and describes the principal functions, as well as the related challenges, of the future institutional repositories.展开更多

It discusses an extensible, reusable, reconstructive and integrated framework of GVISC with new techniques, such as XML, agent, data mining and information portal. They include the design and analysis of the logical structure, the design of the data layer, and the description of the function application. We show an example of personalized information service for forest fire prevention in the government virtual information service center.展开更多

文摘In this paper, we proposed the idea of personalized information service for enterprises and customers through government visual information service center (GVISC). It discusses an extensible, reusable, reconstructive and integrated framework of GVISC with new techniques, such as XML, agent, data mining and information portal. They include the design and analysis of the logical structure, the design of the data layer, and the description of the function application. We show an example of personalized information service for forest fire prevention in the government virtual information service center.
