The Study on the Sharing Information in Supply Chains

In this paper, we discuss the relationship between the sharing of information of supply chains and the supply chain management; we also discuss the function of information share, and the obstacles in sharing information. As we all know, information share between enterprises in supply chains is necessary and possible, but the existence of obstacles of sharing information in supply chains is also a severe challenge in practice. This paper tries to find right ways for enterprises to build the real trade partners＇ relationship and realize transferring the information smoothly in all these three levels among the partners in supply chains.

Applying IT to Avoid Bullwhip Effect of Supply Chain

Bullwhip effect is the most important factor considered in the supply chain management. It gets many scholars＇ attention that bullwhip effect has been restricting the development of the supply chain all the time. Information Technology （IT） can reduce bullwhip effect by sharing the information among the enterprises in the supply chain.

GOVERNANCE OF GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAINS VULNERABILITY BY BUSINESS-BASED INTERORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION PLATFORM

The paper introduces the business-based interorganizational information platform（IOP） and analyzes the feasibility and mechanism of business-based IOP governing global supply chains vulnerability,and then aims to develop a risk evaluation software under reliable algorithm to appraise the capability of an interorganizational information platform resisting to global supply chains risks that supports platform users and providers to make decisions.The paper respectively starts with a basic conceptual model of global supply chains vulnerability and a conceptual model of global supply chains vulnerability in business-based IOP,and then gives the simulation model of governance of global supply chain vulnerability in business-based IOP;then has a discussion with the beneficial model of governing global supply chains vulnerability by using business-based IOP or not.The results of research：（1） If given the ratio of expense per income on global supply chains using business-based IOP, we can estimate the costs to take precautions against risks that decides to the maximum value of the average income of per transaction on global supply chains using business-based IOP.（2） If given total income of transaction on global supply chains using business-based IOP,we can estimate the maximum value of the ratio of expense per income on global supply chains using business-based IOP, which would help to make pricing policy for IOP service provider.

Product market competition and the disclosure of supply chain information

We investigate how product market competition affects corporate voluntary disclosure decisions,specifically regarding supply-chain information.Our results,based on a sample of manufacturing companies listed in China from 2010 to 2016,show that companies in more competitive industries disclose less customer/supplier information.The main results stand through several robustness tests.Further analyses show that the negative relationship between product market competitiveness and supply-chain information disclosure is stronger when the disclosure contains more incremental information and when competitors are more capable of gaining competitive advantage using the disclosed information.Our study contributes to the understanding of both the relationship between product market competition and voluntary disclosure decisions and the regulation of information disclosure to build a transparent capital market.
