Urbanization,often coupled with industrialization,is generally considered as a boost for improving livelihood as well as alleviating ecological pressures of the rural areas.However,this experience needs to be tested i...Urbanization,often coupled with industrialization,is generally considered as a boost for improving livelihood as well as alleviating ecological pressures of the rural areas.However,this experience needs to be tested in less industrialized areas,particularly where the urbanization is driven by non-economic factors such as urban public services and relevant government policies rather than employment opportunities.Taking two villages on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau as examples,through the field investigation by using semi-structured questionnaires and in-depth interviews,and statistical data analysis,we explored the impacts of urbanization on migrants’livelihoods and the ecological conditions of their original village rangeland.We found that the disposable income and savings of emigrant households were less than the stay households,which might be correlated to the limited employment due to the lagged industrialization in the local township,and the mismatch between their traditional labor skills and the demands of urban services.Their home-village rangeland overuse was not alleviated since the increasing grazing pressure caused by the stay households,though the emigrant households intended to decrease the number of livestock on their home pasture.We concluded that the urbanization misaligned with local industrialization may fail to improve migrant livelihoods and local ecological conditions in less industrialized areas.Our research supplements the previous urbanization theory by highlighting the non-industrialization driven urbanization,and is particularly pertinent for the transitional countries worldwide.展开更多
Based on the adaptive analysis paradigm,this paper constructs an evaluation index system and an evaluation model of the level of industrial ecology of a restricted development zone from the perspective of the industri...Based on the adaptive analysis paradigm,this paper constructs an evaluation index system and an evaluation model of the level of industrial ecology of a restricted development zone from the perspective of the industrial system and of the environmental system,and studies the spatial-temporal differentiation characteristics and the driving factors of the level of industrial ecology of the restricted development zone of the Shandong Province,China,by using a variety of measurement methods.The results show that:1)In the temporal dimension,the level of industrial ecology of the research area increased from 2005 to 2017,while in the regional dimension,it was higher in the eastern coastal areas,followed by the northwestern area and the southwestern area;2)In the spatial dimension,from 2005 to 2017 the level of industrial ecology of the research area had a clear spatial dependence,and the regional spatial agglomeration of the restricted development zones with similar industrial ecology levels become increasingly evident;3)On the whole,the industrial ecology level in the study area had a clear spatial differentiation pattern,as it was higher in the north and in the east and lower in the south and in the west.Moreover,its evolution model changed from a‘three-core driven model’to a‘spatial scattered mosaic distribution model’,and then to a‘single-core driven model’;4)Industrial ecology was positively correlated with economic development,foreign investment,science and technology,and negatively correlated with the government role,while industrial structure and environmental regulation failed to pass the statistical significance test.展开更多

One consequence of this view is to investigate industrial flows and consumer activities, and their effects on the environment in order to evaluate and eventually optimize these flows with the help of a systems methodology. Industrial ecology has been developed by engineers and natural scientists and its ethical core canon often manifests in anthropocentric assertions such as harmonizing the contradiction between nature and culture with scientific expertise, appropriate technology and socio-economic management. This paper argues however for a biocentric inspired, normative reading of some characteristics of industrial ecology's systems methodology. The presumption for the value of this endeavor is that industrial ecology's systems methodology has a potential for developing directions for the design of a possible sustainable world.展开更多

[Result]The impact of changes in industrial structure on ecological environment in Shaanxi Province was moderate,but later changes in industrial structure had greater influences on ecological environment than before. The industrial spatial relationship is a cross-cutting subject of economic geography and geographical information science which has considerable significance to promote a sustainable planning and development of region...The industrial spatial relationship is a cross-cutting subject of economic geography and geographical information science which has considerable significance to promote a sustainable planning and development of regional economic system.Taking Shenyang City as our study area and using the location information of manufacturing units and automobile sales outlets extracted from points of interest(POI),we investigated the spatial relationship between the two industries from integration,correlation and coordination perspective.Based on spatial statistical analyses,the equipment manufacturing industry and the automobile sales industry in Shenyang City showed a spatial complementary integration,weak spatial correlation,and coordination with scale dependence and spatial heterogeneity in 2018.This distribution characteristic is attributed to:1)local policy factors(i.e.,that industrial land should be located in the periphery of the city or outside the Second Ring Road),and 2)the economic factors(i.e.,that the degree of dependence of the equipment manufacturing industry and automobile sales industry were also influenced by external factors such as costs).These results improved the current industrial spatial relationship analysis by developing a new framework based on POI big data in order to accelerate a coordinated development between manufacturing and service industries and to promote the construction of industrial ecosystem.展开更多

A detailed study regarding the optimization of a complete system for the purification of water waste is presented.Three main concerns are addressed:the nature of the absorbing material,the efficiency dependence on sca...A detailed study regarding the optimization of a complete system for the purification of water waste is presented.Three main concerns are addressed:the nature of the absorbing material,the efficiency dependence on scale and the management of the final waste of the assembly.These three points have to be optimized in the best acceptable way from an environmental point of view.Subsequently,the wet filling material,comprised of the absorbent and the absorbed dye,was buried in dry soil,promoting soil bacterial and fungal growth.The absorbance of CO2 was determined.The use of natural vegetative material as absorbents of chemical dyes in industrial water waste is an environmentally friendly solution.Combination with the utilization of the final solid waste as fertilizer is an optimum solution,promoting sustainability within an industrial ecology framework.The adsorption column scale-up studied herein,for the removal of basic dyes from wastewaters,using methylene blue as a representative adsorbate and barley straw as a representative waste biomass adsorbent,was successful,as regards consistency and reliability(judged by low absolute and relative standard deviation)of results.展开更多

文摘In recent years, since the Internet has given rise to mass creation and the intervention of industrial capital, China's web IP has experienced a "blowout" growth, which accelerates the development of the ecological operation of its industry chain a pressing issue, especially in the ecological environment via multi-media and "full-copyright" platforms. In the thesis, the author firstly talks about the ecological operation context of web IP, and then the existing problems of the ecological operation of web IP industrial chain, such as the insufficiency in copyright protection, the economic bubbles on its expansion, the lack of originals and the cash-out mentality toward currency. Therefore, the author comes into the conclusion that, there are enormous potentials for the ecological operation of web IP industrial chain. This demands further platforms across the multiple industrial running of web IP, building its brand through the development of"full-copyright". In one word, the life of web IP would be sustained with ecological progress in multimedia consumption, and the ecological operation of web IP industrial chain would be achieved in fact.

文摘The development mode of industrial civilization has created huge material wealth for human society,but at the same time the severe ecological problems that have arisen from it have made human civilization fall into the dispersion of unsustainable development.The industrialized development mode has obvious non-ecological economic qualities,which are specifically manifested in the destruction of the ecological economy relationship between nature and mankind,the emergence of cracks of metabolism between nature and mankind,the unbalanced development of the social productive forces and the natural productive forces,and the functioning of one-way linear non-circular economy.Under the trend of ecological evolution of human civilization,the industrial civilization will be replaced by the ecological civilization,and then the industrial economic development mode will be transformed into the ecological economic development mode.As a result,the predicament of once unsustainable development has been gradually dispersed and human civilization enters a beautiful new era of coordinated development of economic society and natural ecology.
文摘As the rapid development of the national small characteristic town,some problems began to show through.For example,the spatial structure is not reasonable,the industrial is not harmonious,and the industrial cluster is not obvious and so on.In order to solve these uncoordinated problems and arrange industrial structure properly,to build the industrial ecologic chain construction according to local conditions appears to be critical.Therefore,constructing industrial ecological chain is of importance in academic aspect and practical significance to sustainable development.According to the theory of industrial ecology,this article researches on industrial ecological chain construction of Gui-An New District's VR town.Otherwise,with the principles of vertical supply-demand chain,horizontal collaboration chain,energy utilization chain,material circulation chain and water cycle chain,on the basis of five elements including public environment,service bake up,demand-supply collaboration,management system in a cloud and resource reuse,this paper put forward the industrial ecological chain model of VR town in Gui-An New District and analyze each links detailedly.The purpose is to explore and analyze the industrial ecological chain construction of VR town in Gui-An New District to abundant domestic related theory about small town and play a certain reference significance on other new-type of characteristic urbanization in mountainous region.

文摘[Objective] To reduce influences of adjustment of regional industrial structure on ecological environment,promote coordinated development of regional economy and ecological environment,and improve the relationship between human beings and natural environment. [Method]Based on the statistical data of Shaanxi Province during 1978- 2013,the ecological environmental impact index and effect index of industrial structure in Shaanxi Province were calculated,and then the ecological environment benefit of changes in industrial structure in Shaanxi Province from1978 to 2013 was assessed quantitatively. [Result]The impact of changes in industrial structure on ecological environment in Shaanxi Province was moderate,but later changes in industrial structure had greater influences on ecological environment than before. [Conclusion]Industrial structure in Shaanxi Province should be optimized further to ensure the healthy development of ecological environment.

文摘As one of the important policies of promoting the formation of main functional areas, the industrial policy directly determines the sustainable growth of space control ability of main functional areas. A restricted development zone is a type of main functional area which provides agricultural products and ecological products, assures the supply of national agricultural products and the stability of ecosystems, as well as safeguards the ecological functions and agricultural functions of wider regions by restricting its own development. Therefore scientific, complete and operable industrial policy support is needed. Restricted development zones are distributed widely in western China. With the restriction of their main functions, differential industrial policies should be implemented in the development of the restricted development zones: Dealing well with the relationship between industrial development and ecological protection, developing special industries which are friendly to resources and environment and appropriate for local conditions, guiding and encouraging industries to learn from regions with favorable development conditions, orderly withdrawing industries and enterprises adverse to main functions, facilitating industrial structure upgrading, optimizing industrial organization, improving industrial technological level and rationalizing industrial layout.

文摘The industrial civilization has played an irreplaceable role in the evolution of human civilization,but it is dispelled by the serious ecological problems it has brought about.Thus,the prosperous industrial civilization cannot develop sustainably because of the loss of the solid natural ecological foundation.From the perspective of ecological economics,its whole process shows obvious non-ecological appearances,which are the sharpness of the basic contradiction of the ecological economic system,the predatoriness of the ecological economic structure and the inevitability of the ecological crisis.These non-ecological appearances reflect the objective factual state of separation and opposition between the economic system and the ecological system in the process of the industrial civilization development.Only by transforming the industrial civilization into the ecological civilization can human civilization evolve sustainably.
文摘Judging by the general pattern of human civilization, ecological civilization is not a simple negation of industrial civilization. Given China's unique national conditions and uneven process of industrialization, it is inappropriate to separate eeological civilization from industrial civilization. Instead, government should identify the common ground between industrial civilization and ecological civilization, fully utilize material wealth, technology means and organizational system of industrial civilization of the world, leave the freedom of imagination and practices for creating the new-type industrial civilization to businesses and the public, continuously strengthen the material foundation of China's ecological civilization, with a view to supporting the development of ecological civilization with high-quality real economy and achieving the integrated development of industrial civilization and ecological civilization while expediting the new-type industrialization and delivering the benefits of industrialization to 1.3 billion Chinese people.

For example, computer, mobile phone, etc. are increasingly popular, especially hi-tech products updating more and more quickly, which has initiated some problems: resources depletion, environmental pollution, ecosystems damage, etc. While people are enjoying convenient and comfortable life from hi-tech, they are worrying about quantities of e-wastes discharged.In order to reduce the amount and harm of e-wastes, this paper starts from the connotation of the ecological stability of circular economy electronics industry chain (CEEIC, for shorO, uses the food chain principle for reference to describe the links and connection of the electronics industry chain, and selects factors from the three link: production, consumption and recycle to construct indexes system based on their characteristics, with which a scientific evaluation is carried on for CEEIC by using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.
文摘The behavior of industrial cluster is similar to the behavior of biological population, that is, the industrial cluster is seemed to be an ecological symbiotic system. The relationship between economic organizations in the industrial cluster is similar to the relationship of species in ecological system, and symbiotic reciprocity, competition and cooperation are the basic. The ecological development is mainstream and direction of industrial cluster. In this paper, firstly, we studied the ecological symbiosis growth model of industry cluster, and tbund it being according to logistic growth model; secondly, we studied the growth and reproduction of economic organizations in industrial cluster in three different cases, which with only competition relations, only beneficial relations, and both competition and beneficial cooperation relationship between economic organizations, and finally, we determined the number of economical organizations when the industrial cluster attained ecological equilibrium.

文摘This paper analyzes the interactive process of the integration of ecological agriculture and cultural tourism industry from the aspects of rural tourism products,technology and market,and points out that the integration of tourism products constitutes the basis of industrial integration;The integration of technology plays a role in the whole process of industrial integration development;Market level integration is the core goal of industrial integration development.Then,it explains the driving factors of the integrated development of the two industries from two aspects:the relevance of the two industries,the diversification of demand and the diversity of investment constitute the internal driving force of the integration of cultural tourism industry and ecological agriculture under the background of rural revitalization;Multiple factors,such as policy guidance,economic drive and technological innovation,together constitute the external driving force for the integration of cultural tourism industry and ecological agriculture under the background of rural revitalization.On this basis,it puts forward the path of the integrated development of innovative cultural tourism industry and ecological agriculture from six aspects:first,the government actively guides and constructs a perfect policy support system;Second,the development of industrial projects create basic conditions for industrial integration;Third,to strengthen publicity and promotion,strengthen industrial integration and form brand effect;Fourth,to encourage scientific and technological innovation and provide technical support for industrial integration;Fifth,to build industrial alliance and help industrial integration through multi-dimensional cooperation;Sixth,to promote the construction of legal system and build a perfect market access system.
文摘To improve the comparability of the research results of ecological industry, the ecological footprint is appliedto analyze the resource utilization and environmental pollution in various subsystems, taking maize-MSG as a case.Results show that the production process from maize to MSG is a extended process of ecological footprint, and that theecological footprint of the maize production is the biggest; the extension of ecological footprint is followed by the increaseof footprint profit, which means that the extension of production chain is an important method to improve the resourcesprofit; the systems have a big proportion of the indirect energy ecological footprint; the air and water pollution in MSGsubsystem is the most serious. At last, it can be identified that ecological footprint is a good method to measure resourceutilization and environmental pollution in various subsystems of an integrated ecological industry.

文摘The industrial spatial relationship is a cross-cutting subject of economic geography and geographical information science which has considerable significance to promote a sustainable planning and development of regional economic system.Taking Shenyang City as our study area and using the location information of manufacturing units and automobile sales outlets extracted from points of interest(POI),we investigated the spatial relationship between the two industries from integration,correlation and coordination perspective.Based on spatial statistical analyses,the equipment manufacturing industry and the automobile sales industry in Shenyang City showed a spatial complementary integration,weak spatial correlation,and coordination with scale dependence and spatial heterogeneity in 2018.This distribution characteristic is attributed to:1)local policy factors(i.e.,that industrial land should be located in the periphery of the city or outside the Second Ring Road),and 2)the economic factors(i.e.,that the degree of dependence of the equipment manufacturing industry and automobile sales industry were also influenced by external factors such as costs).These results improved the current industrial spatial relationship analysis by developing a new framework based on POI big data in order to accelerate a coordinated development between manufacturing and service industries and to promote the construction of industrial ecosystem.
文摘Developing digital culture industries is one of the important social planning strategies in China in the new era.China’s digital culture industries has continued to grow in recent years,but there are still a series of problems such as imperfect industrial ecological chain structure,lack of development and innovation content,and small scale of ecological platform.At this stage,in order to build a sustainable ecological system for the development of digital culture industries in the new era,we should focus on the development of key areas related to digital culture industries,guide the development of industrial agglomeration,cultivate large-scale leading enterprises,strengthen the support of industry chain,build an innovative ecological model,and increase policy support.Only in this way can the digital culture industries be pushed into a benign ecological system as soon as possible and cultivated into a new momentum for the development of China’s culture industries in the new era.
文摘A detailed study regarding the optimization of a complete system for the purification of water waste is presented.Three main concerns are addressed:the nature of the absorbing material,the efficiency dependence on scale and the management of the final waste of the assembly.These three points have to be optimized in the best acceptable way from an environmental point of view.Subsequently,the wet filling material,comprised of the absorbent and the absorbed dye,was buried in dry soil,promoting soil bacterial and fungal growth.The absorbance of CO2 was determined.The use of natural vegetative material as absorbents of chemical dyes in industrial water waste is an environmentally friendly solution.Combination with the utilization of the final solid waste as fertilizer is an optimum solution,promoting sustainability within an industrial ecology framework.The adsorption column scale-up studied herein,for the removal of basic dyes from wastewaters,using methylene blue as a representative adsorbate and barley straw as a representative waste biomass adsorbent,was successful,as regards consistency and reliability(judged by low absolute and relative standard deviation)of results.
