After a brief review of existing methods for fabric wetting and wicking measurement,a new numerical approach based on dynamic image acquisition and analysis was proposed to study the liquid wetting and wicking properties of woven fabrics.A measuring system was first developed to record on-site the images of liquid ascending in fabrics for a certain period of time.The hardware and software platforms and the experimental methods were described,and the image processing and analysis as well as other related algorithms were discussed in detail.The liquid front curves and rising rates in wetting and wicking were eventually obtained towards different fabrics.From liquid wicking curves,relationship between liquid ascending height and liquid ascending time agrees well with the Washburn theory.The data comparison between the numerical measurement and the traditional test proves the reliability of the numerical results. 展开更多

A hi erarchical feature matching algorithm was adopted to get the final transform parameters between the two images. For the vertical settlement of metro tunnel caused by internal and external stress after its long period operation, the overall scheme and measuring principle of tunnel deformation detection system is in- troduced. The image data acquisition and processing of detection target are achieved by the cooperative work of image sensor, ARM embedded system. RS485 communication achieves the data transmission between ARM memory and host computer. The database system in station platform analyses the detection data and obtains the deformation state of tunnel inner wall, which makes it possible to early-warn the tunnel deformation and take preventive measures in time. 展开更多

In this paper, the use of a signal to noise ratio (SNR) is proposed for the quantification of the goodness of some selected processing techniques of thermographic images, such as differentiated absolute contrast, skewness and kurtosis based algorithms, pulsed phase transform, principal component analysis and thermographic signal reconstruction. A new hybrid technique is also applied (PhAC—Phase absolute contrast), it combines three different processing techniques: phase absolute contrast, pulsed phase thermography and thermographic signal reconstruction. The quality of the results is established on the basis of the values of the parameter SNR, assessed for the present defects in the analyzed specimen, which enabled to quantify and compare their identification and the quality of the results of the employed technique. 展开更多

This paper expounds the application of machine vision theory, composition and technology in the sow breeding process monitoring, auxiliary judgment, and growth of young monitoring. It also points out the problems and deficiency in the application of machine vision technology, and discusses the development trends and prospects of the machine vision technology in agricultural engineering. The application of machine vision is a process in which dynamic original image from the sows estrus is collected with a CCD camera, and then black and white ash three binarization image in adjournments of the threshold value is made by using image acquisition card, through the median filtering and gray processing. The practitioners can extract respective image information from the sow estrus, pregnancy and birth delivery. Applying the computer vision system in the sow farm effectively enhances the practitioners’ objectivity and precision in their efforts to assess the whole process of sow birth delivery. 展开更多

This anomaly is generally appreciated through biological analyzes of patients</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">’</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> blood. These analyzes, which boil down to the knowledge of hemato-metric constants, cannot by themselves allow the characterization of certain forms of anemia in the sense that most anemia are related to the morphology and color of red blood cells. Our work in this paper is to perform blood smears on patients and perform a morphological and colorimetric analysis of red blood cells on these smears. This approach allowed us to highlight on each erythrocyte morphological and colorimetric descriptors to accurately identify the types of anemia by image processing methods. This identification is performed in an automated environment to allow pathologists to respond quickly to anemia-related emergencies and also improve the treatment to be conducted. This automation required the implementation of a new approach to electronic instrumentation and the acquisition of microscopic blood smear images for the automatic and rapid diagnosis of anemia. 展开更多

Aiming at the problem,i.e.infrared images own the characters of bad contrast ratio and fuzzy edges,a method to enhance the contrast of infrared image is given,which is based on stationary wavelet transform.After making stationary wavelet transform to an infrared image,denoising is done by the proposed method of double-threshold shrinkage in detail coefficient matrixes that have high noisy intensity.For the approximation coefficient matrix with low noisy intensity,enhancement is done by the proposed method based on histogram.The enhanced image can be got by wavelet coefficient reconstruction.Furthermore,an evaluation criterion of enhancement performance is introduced.The results show that this algorithm ensures target enhancement and restrains additive Gauss white noise effectively.At the same time,its amount of calculation is small and operation speed is fast. 展开更多

The rise of urban traffic flow highlights the growing importance of traffic safety.In order to reduce the occurrence rate of traffic accidents,and improve front vision information of vehicle drivers,the method to improve visual information of the vehicle driver in low visibility conditions is put forward based on infrared and visible image fusion technique.The wavelet image confusion algorithm is adopted to decompose the image into low-frequency approximation components and high-frequency detail components.Low-frequency component contains information representing gray value differences.High-frequency component contains the detail information of the image,which is frequently represented by gray standard deviation to assess image quality.To extract feature information of low-frequency component and high-frequency component with different emphases,different fusion operators are used separately by low-frequency and high-frequency components.In the processing of low-frequency component,the fusion rule of weighted regional energy proportion is adopted to improve the brightness of the image,and the fusion rule of weighted regional proportion of standard deviation is used in all the three high-frequency components to enhance the image contrast.The experiments on image fusion of infrared and visible light demonstrate that this image fusion method can effectively improve the image brightness and contrast,and it is suitable for vision enhancement of the low-visibility images. 展开更多

The projectile-borne video reconnaissance system is able to meet the needs of tactical target identification and battle damage assessment for tactical operations. The existing threshold segmentation methods almost fail under the circumstances. Thus, a threshold selection method is proposed on the basis of area difference between background and object and intra-class variance. The threshold selection formulae based on one-dimensional (1-D) histogram, two-dimensional (2-D) histogram vertical segmentation and 2-D histogram oblique segmentation are given. A fast recursive algorithm of threshold selection in 2-D histogram oblique segmentation is derived. The segmented images and processing time of the proposed method are given in experiments. It is compared with some fast algorithms, such as Otsu, maximum entropy and Fisher threshold selection methods. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively segment the small object images and has better anti-noise property. 展开更多

中国南方常压页岩气资源潜力大,主要分布于四川盆地周缘构造复杂区及盆外褶皱带,具有地表、地下双复杂地质条件,地震采集品质差、成像精度低、甜点参数变化规律不清。本文系统总结了渝东南地区常压页岩气地震采集、成像处理、储层预测... 中国南方常压页岩气资源潜力大,主要分布于四川盆地周缘构造复杂区及盆外褶皱带,具有地表、地下双复杂地质条件,地震采集品质差、成像精度低、甜点参数变化规律不清。本文系统总结了渝东南地区常压页岩气地震采集、成像处理、储层预测等方面的研究成果与技术进展:①形成了变密度三维观测系统设计技术、灰岩地表复杂山地地震激发接收技术,确保复杂地下构造反射波场充分采样,提升采集资料品质,提高施工效率。②完善了复杂山地地震叠前预处理技术、盆缘过渡带复杂构造成像技术、盆外褶皱带向斜构造成像技术,成果剖面信噪比高,有效频带宽,构造成像精度高。③基于岩石物理特征研究,实现优质页岩厚度、地层压力系数、脆性的定量预测;基于统计岩石物理,实现页岩有机碳含量、含气量、孔隙度的定量预测;利用有限元应力场模拟技术,揭示古应力场演化,实现多期构造改造叠加作用形成裂缝的定量预测;采用组合弹簧模型今应力场预测技术,明确今地应力场分布规律。通过攻关研究,有效指导了常压页岩气甜点预测与勘探开发,为南川常压页岩气田的发现提供了依据。下步应重点攻关基于5G无线节点接收的更加科学合理的地震采集技术、复杂山地高陡构造高精度自动化成像处理技术,以及“地质—工程—经济”一体化的甜点地震评价方法。 展开更多
