In the practical application,a wide-angle absorption with simple structure is still crucial property of metamaterial absorbers(MAs).A single-band infrared MA is introduced to analyze the angle insensitive mechanism.Numerical simulation reveals that a perfect absorption peak with 99.9%(7.55μm)is achieved at normal incidence,as well as the absorptivity is respectively 69.7%(7.46μm)and 93.5%(7.46μm)for transverse electric(TE)and transverse magnetic(TM)modes at 70°incidence.By changing substrate thickness,the absorption ratio at 70°is increased to 91%(7.46μm)for TE mode.Our design can also keep the good absorption stability for the geometric parameters.The E z-field distributions for different incident angles are given to investigate the physical mechanism.The designed MA can realize good wide-angle tolerance.This MA owns great applications,including infrared spectroscopy,solar harvester and plasmonic sensors. 展开更多

In this paper,a methodology based on characteristic spectral bands of near infrared spectroscopy(1000-2500 nm)and multivariate analysis was proposed to identify camellia oil adulteration withvegetable oils,Sunflower,peanut and corn oils were selected to conduct the test.Pure camlia oiland that adulterated with varying concentrations(1-10%with the gradient of 1%,10-40%withthe gradient of 5%,40-100%with the gradient of 10%)of each type of the three vegetable oilswere prepared,respectively.For each type of adulterated oil,full-spectrum partial least squarespartial least squares(PLS)models and synergy interval partial least squares(SI-PLS)modelswere developed.Parameters of these models were optimized simultaneously by cross-validation,The SI-PLS models were proved to be better than the full-spectrum PLS models.In SI-PLSmodels,the correlation coefficients of predition set(Rp)were 0.9992,0.9998 and 0.9999 foradulteration with sunflower oil,peanut oiloil seperately;the corresponding root meansquare errors of prediction set(RMSEP).66nd 0.37.Furthermore,a new genericPLS model was built based on the chalselected from the intervals of thethree SI-PLS models to identify the oil adulterantsardless of the adultrated oil types.Themodel achieved with Rp=0.9988 and RMSEP==1.52,These results indicated that the charac-teristic near infrared spectral regions could determine the level of adulteration in the camllia oil. 展开更多

Short wave near-infrared(SWIR,900-1700 nm)fluorescence imaging has attracted extensive research interest from scientists due to its high imaging quality.However,the variety of SWIR fluorescence imaging agents are quite limited and the corresponding quantum efficiency is rela-tively low.In this work,a novel conjugated polymer PDTSDTBT was reported,consisting of a donor unit with a tetrahedral Si(sp3)named DTS and an acceptor unit named DTBT with branched side chains.The design approach of endowing the donor-acceptor structure with the branched side chains successfully increase the fluorescence quantum efficiency.The polymer was prepared into nanoparticles by nanoprecipitation.The PDTSDTBT nanoparticles showed an absorption peak of 626 nm and fluorescence emission peak of 924 nm.The quantum efficiency of the nanoparticles is 0.53%,which is higher than that of nanotube fluorophores(0.4%).The nanoparticles also demonstrate a photothermal effect,the temperature of nanoparticles solution could reach 45℃under excitation by 660 nm laser.Therefore,the PDTSDTBT nanoparticles is an excellent fluorescent imaging agent with potential photothermal applications. 展开更多

The absorption,scattering,and autofluorescence of biological tissues in short-wave infrared re-gion(SWIR,900-1700 nm)are relatively low,so SWIR fluorescence usually has deeper pene-tration into living tissues,and can show a higher signal-to-noise ratio when used for imaging in vivo.However,there are few types of organic SWIR fluorescent materials currently.In this work,p-azaquinodimethane(p-AQM)with a quinoid structure is used as the acceptor unit,and car-bazole or fluorene with sp3 hybridization are used as the donor units,two conjugated polymers were synthesized.The quinone structure is conducive to the redshift of absorption and fluores-cence spectra,and the sp3 hybridization structure is conducive to weakening the aggregation quenching of polymer fluorescence.PF and PCz exhibited absorption peaks of 492 nm and 508 nm,respectively.The emission peaks of the two polymers are 920 nm and 950 nm,respec-tively,both in the short-wave near infrared region.The quantum yield(QY)of PF and PCz is 0.4%and 0.3%,respectively. 展开更多

We investigated the environment of the infrared dust bubble N68 and searched for evidence of triggered star formation in its surroundings. We performed a multiwavelength study of the nebula with data taken from several large-scale surveys: GLIMPSE, MIPSGAL, IRAS, NVSS, GRS and JCMT. We analyzed the spectral pro- file and the distribution of the molecular gas (13CO J -- 1 - 0 and J -- 3 - 2), and the dust in the environment of N68. The position-velocity diagram clearly shows that N68 may be expanding outward. We used two three-color images of the mid-infrared emis- sion to explore the physical environment, and one color-color diagram to investigate the distribution of young stellar objects (YSOs). We found that the 24 p^m emission is surrounded by the 8.0 ~m emission. Morphologically, the 1.4 GHz continuum strongly correlates with the 24 gm emission, and the 13CO J -- 1 - 0 and J -- 3 - 2 emissions correlate well with the 8.0 p^m emission. We investigated two compact cores located in the shell of N68. The spectral intensity ratios of 13CO J -- 3 - 2 to J = 1 - 0 range from 5 to 0.3. In addition, YSOs, masers, IRAS and UC HII regions are distributed in the shell of the bubble. The active region may be triggered by the expansion of the bubble N68. 展开更多

We collect 3249 OH maser sources from the literature published up to April 2007, and compile a new catalog of OH masers. We look for the exciting sources of these masers and their infrared properties from IRAS and MSX... We collect 3249 OH maser sources from the literature published up to April 2007, and compile a new catalog of OH masers. We look for the exciting sources of these masers and their infrared properties from IRAS and MSX data, and make a sta- tistical study. MSX sources associated with stellar 1612 MHz OH masers are located mainly above the blackbody line; this is caused by the dust absorption of stellar en- velopes, especially in the MSX_A band. The mid-IR sources associated with stellar OH masers are concentrated in a small region in an [A]-[D] vs.[A]-[E] diagram with a small fraction of contamination; this gives us a new criterion to search for new stellar OH masers and distinguish stellar masers from unknown types of OH masers. IR sources associated with 1612 MHz stellar OH masers show an expected result: the average flux of sources with F60 〉 F25 increases with increasing wavelength, while those with F60 〈 F25 vary little with wavelength, because the sources with F60 〈 F25 are much hotter than those with F60 〉 F25. 展开更多

Plasmonic nanoparticles are endowed profound capability for sensing,biomedicine,and cancer therapy.However,the inaccessibly adjustable wavelength in near infrared(NIR)region window and size limit for the particles penetration in tumor strongly hinder their developments.Miniature gold nanorods(mini-Au NRs)with diameter less than 12 nm can effectively address this challenge due to the tiny size and tailorable NIR absorption.Herein,we adopt ternary surfactants(hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB),sodium oleate(NaOL),and sodium salicylate(NaSal))mediated growth strategy to precisely synthesize miniature Au NRs under micelle space-confinement.Importantly,the selectively dense accumulation of ternary surfactants can efficiently improve the micellar stacking parameters(p)and lower micellar free energy(F),further tends to achieve the formation of Au NRs with tiny diameter and high purity.Compared with that of conventional methods,the purity of mini-Au NRs up to 100%can be dramatically improved via varying the relative concentration of ternary surfactants.The diameter of Au NRs can be dynamically controlled to 6,8,and 11 nm through regulating the concentration of silver nitrate and the mole ratio of ternary surfactants.Such ternary surfactants system is favorable for the aging of tiny Au NRs,and further enables the aspect ratio-tunable in the region from 2.70 to 7.32,as well as tailorable plasmonic wavelength in wide NIR window from 700 to 1,147 nm.Therefore,our findings shed a light on the precise preparation of small sized plasmonic nanoparticles and pave the way to applications in biomedicine,imaging,and cancer therapy. 展开更多

A sensing system in the near infrared region has been developed for ammonia sensing based on the wavelength modulation spectroscopy (WMS) principle. The WMS is a rather sensitive technique for detecting atomic/molecular species, presenting the advantage that it can be used in the near-infrared region by using the optical telecommunications technology. In this technique, the laser wavelength and intensity were modulated by applying a sine wave signal through the injection current, which allowed the shift of the detection bandwidth to higher frequencies where laser intensity noise was typically lower. Two multi-pass cells based on free space light propagation with 160 cm and 16 cm of optical path length were used, allowing the redundancy operation and technology validation. This system used a diode laser with an emission wavelength at 1512.21nm, where NH3 has a strong absorption line. The control of the NH3 gas sensing system, as well as acquisition, processing and data presentation was performed. 展开更多
