The influence of initial pH on the chalcopyrite oxidation dissolution at 65 ℃ was investigated by bioleaching and cyclic voltammetiy experiments,and the oxidation products were investigated by XRD and Raman spectroscopy.Bioleaching results show that chalcopyrite dissolution rate increases with the decrease of the initial pH in chemical leaching,while the influence of initial pH on bioleaching is on the contrary.The presence of Acidianus manzaensis does not promote chalcopyrite dissolution under initial pH1.0,which mainly results from serious inhibition of high acidity to the growth of Acidianus manzaensis.Electrochemical experiments results show that anodic oxidation currents of electrolyte with or without Acidianus manzaensis both increase with the increase of initial pH,and covellite and sulfur are detected on the electrode surface.The results confirm that chalcopyrite dissolution in chemical leaching is under the combined action of oxidation and non-oxidation of proton,with conversion of chalcopyrite to covellite and elemental sulfur. 展开更多

An experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of different initial pH on the storage characteristics and shelf life of liquid diet. 45 polypropylene bags were allotted to treatments 1, 2 and 3 on average, 100 g diet and 200 g water were placed into each polypropylene bag, food-grade DL-lactic acid was added to each bag at a rate of 0.0 mL in treatment l, 1.2 mL in treatment 2 and 4.7 mL in treatment 3, air was artificially expelled from each bag prior to heat-sealing. All bags were placed into a cage, cooked with steam at 90~C for 30 rain under normal pressure, then taken out and stored from day 0 to 60 at room temperature. Results indicated that liquid diet in treatment 3 achieved the highest total sensory scores, the pH value had a tendency to decrease and the bacteria count had a tendency to increase in the liquid diet with the advancing of storage time with the advancing of storage time, lowering the initial pH of liquid diet decreased the bacteria count, the AFBl and ZEN concentrations and increased the starch gelatinization degree from day 30 to 60, liquid diet in treatment 3 had a lower (P〈0.01) bacteria count and a higher (P〈0.05) starch gelatinization degree at day 30 and 45 than liquid diet in treatment 1. In conclusion, lowering the initial pH of liquid diet with lactic acid to pH 4 could effectively improve the storage characteristics and shelf life of liquid diet. 展开更多

α-Ni(OH)2 was synthesized from a NiCl2 solution by electrodeposition method.In order to conduct a systematic study on the effects of experimental parameters,a series of electrolyte initial pH values,current densities... α-Ni(OH)2 was synthesized from a NiCl2 solution by electrodeposition method.In order to conduct a systematic study on the effects of experimental parameters,a series of electrolyte initial pH values,current densities,electrodeposition temperatures,and electrodeposition time were used.Cyclic voltammetry results demonstrated a side reaction of Ni^2++2e→Ni.The X-ray diffraction analysis,Fourier-transform infrared spectrum,and the color of the product showed that pureα-Ni(OH)2 could be obtained in the initial pH value range of 2−5.86,current density range of 10−25 mA/cm^2,electrodeposition temperature range of 25−35℃,and electrodeposition time range of 1.0−3.0 h.When electrodeposition temperature increased to 45℃,a mixture ofα-Ni(OH)2 and metallic Ni was obtained.A current density higher than 30 mA/cm^2 resulted in the sample with features ofβ-Ni(OH)2.A small amount of metallic Ni existed in the as-prepared sample when current density decreased to 5 mA/cm^2.A slight increase of electrolyte pH was observed with increasing initial solution pH and current density.Electrodeposition mass revealed a slight decrease with initial pH decreasing and showed an almost linear increase with current density increasing.The slope of the curve for electrodeposition mass versus electrodeposition time remained stable in the first 2.0 h and then decreased. 展开更多

A novel cathodic–anodic-electrolysis packing(CAEP) used in the treatment of pyridine wastewater was researched, which mainly consisted of 4,4′-diamino-2,2′-disulfonic acid(DSD acid) industrial iron sludge. The physical properties and morphology of the packing were studied. The CAEP was used in a column reactor during the pretreatment of pyridine wastewater. The influence of p H, hydraulic retention time(HRT), the air–liquid ratio(A/L)and the initial concentration of pyridine were investigated by measuring the removal of total organic carbon(TOC) and pyridine. The characterization results showed that the bulk density, grain density, water absorption percentage and specific surface area were 921 kg/m3,1086 kg/m3, 25% and 29.89 m^2/g, respectively; the removal of TOC and pyridine could reach50% and 58% at the optimal experimental conditions(p H = 3, HRT = 8 hr, A/L = 2). Notably,the surface of the packing was renewed constantly during the running of the filter, and the handling capacity was stable after running for three months. 展开更多
