The present paper presents an algorithm and a program for plotting the clarifying curves and for determination of the specific amount of settled material during the initial period based on data obtained from sedimentation experiments in stationary column of aqueous suspensions of solids particles with different concentrations. The algorithm and program have been developed for an interactive, rapid and convenient processing of the data obtained from sedimentation experiments in stationary column of aqueous suspensions of solids particles and allow obtaining with accuracy of precise and expressive graphs which characterize the behaviour of aqueous suspensions to sedimentation in stationary column. Sedimentation study of different aqueous suspensions of solids particles in stationary column is of great importance for experimentally determining the important parameters required to design and exploitation clarifiers and sludge thickeners from waste water treatment plants. 展开更多

Robot animation has played an important role in the development of Japanese animation.Robot animation,as a major pillar of Japanese animation industry,has triggered several changes in Japanese animation industry,successfully guided the dual route of localization and globalization of Japanese animation,and promoted the arrival of the golden age of Japanese animation.In order to reveal the ideological characteristics of robotic animation and the reasons leading the development trend of animation,this paper adopts the historical method,centering on Astro Boy,Mazinger Z and Space Warship Yamato,which are the nodes of animation history,to make a longitudinal investigation and analysis of the initial period of Japanese robot animation.Through this kind of investigation,we can not only make up for the deficiency of the systematic thought research theory of robot animation,but also sort out the development of robotic animation as a whole,and solve the problem of the ideological origin of robotic animation.At the same time,we can also provide a new research perspective for the history of animation communication between China and Japan,which is of great significance to strengthen the communication of animation and cultural exchange between China and Japan. 展开更多

Based on the measured hydrological data from 1951 to 2008, the chain hydrological effect between Jingjiang River and Dongting Lake is analyzed by comparative method after the Three Gorges Project operation. The result indicates that 1) the scouring amount in Jing- jiang River made up 78.9% of the total from Yichang to Chenglingji, and its average scouring intensity was higher than the latter; 2) the water and sand diversion rates at the three outlets of the Jingjiang River were reduced by 2.33% and 2.78% separately; 3) the proportion of multi-year average runoff and sediment through the three outlets in the total into the Dongting Lake decreased by 7.7% and 24.4% respectively; 4) in Dongting Lake, the speed of sediment accumulation was lowered by 26.7%, in flood season, the runoff amount was 20.2% less than the multi-year average value, leading to seasonal scarcity of water year by year. The former prolonged the lake life, while the latter induced droughts in summer and fall in successive years, shortage of drinking and industrial water, shipping insecurity, as well as ecological problems such as decrease of birds and quick increase of Microtus fortis; 5) The multi-year average values of sediment and flood transporting capacity at the lake outlet were respec- tively increased by 26.6% and 3.7%, the adapt to the new change of the river-lake embankments were protected effectively. Then, to relation, some suggestions were put forward, such as optimizing further operation program of the Three Gorges Reservoir, reexamining the idea of river and lake regulation, and maintaining connection of the river and the lake. 展开更多

For this equation lacks scaling invariance, we first reconsider the local result and pay special attention to the relationship between the lifespan of the local solution and the initial data, and then prove the almost conservation law, and finally obtain the global well-posedness by an iteration process. 展开更多

The corrosion fatigue propagation behaviour of high strength low alloy Cr-Ni and Si-Mn steels has been investigated in 3.5 %NaCl solution spryly at the frequencies of 0.1 and 5.5 Hz. It was shown that the fatigue crack initiation resistances of the two steels are significantly re- duced in salt spray;the fatigue crack growth rates of steels increase with the decrease of fre- quency and are much higher in salt spray than in air within low ΔK range.A critical stress in- tensity factor was observed for each steel and the crack growth stoppage will occur if the ΔK values are lower than it.It was found that the active dissolution makes great contribution to the fatigue crack growth within low ΔK range. 展开更多

In this article, we are concerned with the global weak solutions to the 1D com- pressible viscous hydrodynamic equations with dispersion correction δ2ρ((φ(ρ))xxφ′(ρ))x with φ(ρ) = ρα. The model consists of viscous stabilizations because of quantum Fokker-Planck operator in the Wigner equation and is supplemented with periodic boundary and initial con- ditions. The diffusion term εuxx in the momentum equation may be interpreted as a classical conservative friction term because of particle interactions. We extend the existence result in [1] (α=1/2) to 0 〈 α ≤ 1. In addition, we perform the limit ε→0 with respect to 0 〈 α ≤1/2. 展开更多

We first show theexistence of global weak attractors for the periodic initial value problem of this equations in H^2x H^1. And then by an energy equation and an idea of Ghidaglia and Guo, we conclude that the globalweak attractor is actually the global strong attractor for S(t) in H^2 (Ω) x H^1 (Ω). These methods, which require only three (new) function evaluation per iteration and per step integration. These methods have minimal local truncation error (LTE) and smaller phase-lag of sixth order than some sixth orders P-stable methods in [1-3,10-11].
