The crystal structure parameters of K 0.475WO 3 were obtained by the analysis of XRD, which shows tetragonal crystal system with lattice parameters: a=12 28 nm, c=3.833 nm, V=578.48 nm -3. Scholars have long hypothesized that silver can offer an independent proxy to characterize lead minerals. The summary of silver distribution associated with Shang and Western Zhou bronzes in this paper reveals an important difference between the south(Sanxingdui, Hanzhong, Jinsha, Panlongcheng, Xin’gan) and the Central Plains. Correlating silver with lead content as well as with the isotopic signature indicates that south China and the Central Plains had different lead sources during the late Shang period, and also that the highly radiogenic and common lead used at Anyang come from geochemical environments which cannot be distinguished by the level of silver.展开更多

A large amount of Shang Dynasty bronzes, excavated from Jiangxi, Hubei and Henan Provinces, have become a focus of world attention. However, the Sha-ng Dynasty center was located at Zhenzhou and Allyang city areas, Henan Province, where no large copper ores have been found so far. Therefore, where did the huge ore material for casting the bronzes come from? It is an unsettled question paid attention by the archaeologists and scicntists. 35 Shang Dynasty bronzes and 21 copper and lead ore materials aged in the Shang-Zhou Dynasty, the Spring-Autumn Period and the modern time, have been measured by the use of mass spectrometry.Based upon lead isotopic ratios, the ore material for casting the bronzes with the middle isotopic ratios of 207Pb/206Pb ranged in 0.8~0.9 could come from the ancient copper mine of Tongling, Jiangxi Province and Tong Lushan, Hubei Province and that with the high isotopic ratios (>0.9) could be from the northern part of the Shang Empire, called "Gongfang" in the historical records, e.g. today’s Hebei and LiaoningProvinces. The others with the low isotopic ratios (<0.8) might originate from poly-metalic deposits, with the high isotopic ratios of 238U/204 Pb in the ore flux or in the magma.展开更多

The bronze chloride disease was obtained treating commercial bronzes with HCI 37%, for 190 h. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and optical images taken on treated samples show the formation of a CuCIJCu2CI2 patina of about 300 m Laser ablation reduces in both medium the patina thickness at few microns without changing the chemical composition of bronze. It is found that wear loss of bronzes in 5.0% H2SO4 solution is lower than that in water or in air, namely,it exhibits negative synergy between corrosion and wear. Further analysis shows that corrosive solution plays an important role in cooling of specimen during the sliding wear to prevent the reduction of the surface hardness of specimen, induced by frictional heat. On the other hand, the bronzes suffer a de-alloying corrosion, and a noble copper subsurface and patina form on the specimen surface in corrosive solution, which has a passive function for further corrosion. The noble copper subsurface experiences strain hardening during the corrosion and wear, resulting in the increase of the surface hardness thus the increase in wear resistance.展开更多

Combined with image processing techniques, grain sizes and grain-boundary morphologies were respectively determined by the quantitative metallographic method and the flactal theory. The outcomes obtained show that the deformed microstructures exhibit typical fractal features, and the boundaries can be characterized quantitatively by ffactal dimensions. With the temperature of 600-800℃ and the drawing speed of 0.67-1.00 mm-s-1, either a lower temperature or a higher speed will cause a smaller grain size together with an elevated fractal dimension. The developed model can be capable for forecasting the microstructure evolution with a minimum error. The average relative errors between the predicted results and the experimental values of grain size and fractal dimension are 3.9% and 0.9%, respectively.展开更多

The effects of heating power, the distance between cooler and heater as well as feeding speed on the diameter, the temperature field, and the deformation region profile of the wires were investigated. The results indi-cated that each processing parameter exhibited both lower and upper limits of stable deformation based on the criterion of stable deformation with the diameter fluctuation of ±0.05 mm. Both the temperature and its gradient of the deformation region increased with increasing heating power under stable deformation, but decreased with an increase in feeding speed. As the distance between cooler and heater increased, the temperature of the deformation region increased and the slope of the deformation region profile decreased. The processing limit map of sta-ble deformation exhibited a closed curve and the unstable deformation consisted of wire breakage and diameter fluctuations.展开更多

On this question a series of simulating tests were carried out. By using quenching and tempering the same structure as in ancient bronze mirrors was obtained, therefore, it was proved that Chinese ancient bronze mirrors underwent heat-treatment. Meanwhile the view that the tempered structure of bronze at high temperature is analogous to its quenched structure at high temperature was corrected.展开更多

X-ray diffraction confirmed the orthorhombic structure of a'-NaV2O5, with preferential growth along the (001) direction. Scanning electron microscopy showed a'-NaV205 was composed of flake-shaped crystals. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirmed the co-existence of V^4+ and V^5+ in a'-NaV2O5, which results in an average V^4.5+ oxidation state of a'-NaV2O5. The observed Raman bands are ascribed to different V-O vibrations, a'-NaV205 shows a reversible specific capacity of about 100 mA·h·g^-1 between 3.5 and 1.0 V, with a good capacity retention. The good electrochemical stability of the material is attributed to its structural stability during Li^+ intercalation.展开更多

文摘Tin bronze wires were produced by dieless drawing. The processing limit map of sta-ble deformation exhibited a closed curve and the unstable deformation consisted of wire breakage and diameter fluctuations.
文摘In academic circles there are different views on question if existed heat-treatment technique for ancient bronze mirrors in China. On this question a series of simulating tests were carried out. By using quenching and tempering the same structure as in ancient bronze mirrors was obtained, therefore, it was proved that Chinese ancient bronze mirrors underwent heat-treatment. Meanwhile the view that the tempered structure of bronze at high temperature is analogous to its quenched structure at high temperature was corrected.

文摘a'-NaV2O5 was prepared by a simple hydrothermal process. The good electrochemical stability of the material is attributed to its structural stability during Li^+ intercalation.
