Integrated operational planning of hydrothermal power and natural gas systems with large scale storages

The growing installation of natural gas fired power plants has increased the integration of natural gas and electricity sectors. This has driven the need investigate the interactions among them and to optimize energy resources management from a centralized planning perspective. Thus, a combined modeling of the reservoirs involved in electric power and gas systems and their locations on both networks are essential features to be considered in the operational planning of energy resources.This paper presents a modeling and optimization approach to the operational planning of electric power and natural gas systems, taking into account different energy storage facilities, such as water reservoirs, natural gas storages and line packs of pipelines. The proposed model takes advantage of captures both energy systems synergy and their associated networks. This approach identifies the interactions between the energy storage facilities and their economic impact over their optimal scheduling. The results show the benefits of an integrated operational planning of electric power and natural gas systems, the close interdependency between the energy resources stored in both systems, and the effects of a combined scheduling.

Realization of T_(e0)>10 keV long pulse operation over 100 s on EAST

In 2021,EAST realized a steady-state long pulse with a duration over 100 s and a core electron temperature over 10 keV.This is an integrated operation that resolves several key issues,including active control of wall conditioning,long-lasting fully noninductive current and divertor heat/particle flux.The fully noninductive current is driven by pure radio frequency(RF)waves with a lower hybrid current drive power of 2.5 MW and electron cyclotron resonance heating of 1.4 MW.This is an excellent experimental platform on the timescale of hundreds of seconds for studying multiscale instabilities,electron-dominant transport and particle recycling(plasma-wall interactions)under weak collisionality.

SOME PROPERTIES OF THE INTEGRATION OPERATORS ON THE SPACES F(p,q,s)

We study the closed range property and the strict singularity of integration operators acting on the spaces F(p,pα-2,s).We completely characterize the closed range property of the Volterra companion operator I_(g)on F(p,pα-2,s),which generalizes the existing results and answers a question raised in[A.Anderson,Integral Equations Operator Theory,69(2011),no.1,87-99].For the Volterra operator J_(g),we show that,for 0<α≤1,J_(g)never has a closed range on F(p,pα-2,s).We then prove that the notions of compactness,weak compactness and strict singularity coincide in the case of J_(g)acting on F(p,p-2,s).

Wigner function of optical cumulant operator and its dissipation in thermo-entangled state representation

To conveniently calculate the Wigner function of the optical cumulant operator and its dissipation evolution in a thermal environment, in this paper, the thermo-entangled state representation is introduced to derive the general evolution formula of the Wigner function, and its relation to Weyl correspondence is also discussed. The method of integration within the ordered product of operators is essential to our discussion.

Feynman Path Integral Using Operator Integration in Banach Space

Feynman-Path Integral in Banach Space: In 1940, R.P. Feynman attempted to find a mathematical representation to express quantum dynamics of the general form for a double-slit experiment. His intuition on several slits with several walls in terms of Lagrangian instead of Hamiltonian resulted in a magnificent work. It was known as Feynman Path Integrals in quantum physics, and a large part of the scientific community still considers them a heuristic tool that lacks a sound mathematical definition. This paper aims to refute this prejudice, by providing an extensive and self-contained description of the mathematical theory of Feynman Path Integration, from the earlier attempts to the latest developments, as well as its applications to quantum mechanics. About a hundred years after the beginning of modern physics, it was realized that light could in fact show behavioral characteristics of both waves and particles. In 1927, Davisson and Germer demonstrated that electrons show the same dual behavior, which was later extended to atoms and molecules. We shall follow the method of integration with some modifications to construct a generalized Lebesgue-Bochner-Stieltjes (LBS) integral of the form , where u is a bilinear operator acting in the product of Banach spaces, f is a Bochner summable function, and μ is a vector-valued measure. We will demonstrate that the Feynman Path Integral is consistent and can be justified mathematically with LBS integration approach.

α-times Integrated Cosine Operator Functions with Growth ω

For a continuous,increasing functionω:[0,∞)→C of finite exponential type,we establish a Hille-Yosida type theorem for strongly continuous α-times(α>0)integrated cosine operator functions with O(ω).It includes the corresponding results for n-times integrated cosine operator functions that are polynomially bounded and exponentially bounded.

Electrically and Optically Bistable Operation in an Integration of a 1310 nm DFB Laser and a Tunneling Diode

We experimentally demonstrate an In P-based hybrid integration of a single-mode DFB laser emitting at around 1310 nm and a tunneling diode. The evident negative differential resistance regions are obtained in both electrical and optical output characteristics. The electrical and optical bistabilities controlled by the voltage through the tunneling diode are also measured. When the voltage changes between 1.46 V and 1.66 V, a 200-mV-wide hysteresis loop and an optical power ON/OFF ratio of 17 dB are obtained. A side-mode suppression ratio of the integrated device in the ON state is up to 43 dB. The tunneling diode can switch on/off the laser within a very small voltage range compared with that directly controlled by a voltage source.

Quantum entangled fractional Fourier transform based on the IWOP technique

In our previous papers,the classical fractional Fourier transform theory was incorporated into the quantum theoretical system using the theoretical method of quantum optics,and the calculation produced quantum mechanical operators corresponding to the generation of fractional Fourier transform.The core function of the coordinate-momentum exchange operators in the addition law of fractional Fourier transform was analyzed too.In this paper,the bivariate operator Hermite polynomial theory and the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators(IWOP)are used to establish the entanglement fractional Fourier transform theory to the extent of quantum.A new function generating formula and an operator for generating quantum entangled fractional Fourier transform are obtained using the fractional Fourier transform relationship in a pair of conjugated entangled state representations.

q–differ-integral operator on p–valent functions associated with operator on Hilbert space

Making use of multivalent functions with negative coefficients of the type f (z)=z^(p)-~(∑)_(k=p+1)^(∞)a_(k)z^(k),which are analytic in the open unit disk and applying the q-derivative a q–differintegral operator is considered.Furthermore by using the familiar Riesz-Dunford integral,a linear operator on Hilbert space H is introduced.A new subclass of p-valent functions related to an operator on H is defined.Coefficient estimate,distortion bound and extreme points are obtained.The convolution-preserving property is also investigated.

Least square method based on Haar wavelet to solve multi-dimensional stochastic Ito-Volterra integral equations

This paper proposes a method combining blue the Haar wavelet and the least square to solve the multi-dimensional stochastic Ito-Volterra integral equation.This approach is to transform stochastic integral equations into a system of algebraic equations.Meanwhile,the error analysis is proven.Finally,the effectiveness of the approach is verified by two numerical examples.

The Gleason's problem on normal weight general function spaces in the unit ball of C^(n)

In this paper,we first discuss the boundedness of certain integral operator T_(t) on the normal weight general function space F(p,μ,s)in the unit ball Bnof C^(n).As an application of this operator,we prove that the Gleason’s problem is solvable on F(p,μ,s).

THE NONLINEAR BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR k HOLOMORPHIC FUNCTIONS IN C^(2)

k holomorphic functions are a type of generation of holomorphic functions.In this paper,a nonlinear boundary value problem for k holomorphic functions is primarily discussed on generalized polycylinders in C^(2).The existence of the solution for the problem is studied in detail with the help of the boundary properties of Cauchy type singular integral operators with a k holomorphic kernel.Furthermore,the integral representation for the solution is obtained.

New light fields based on integration theory within the Weyl ordering product of operators

The development of quantum optics theory based on the method of integration within an ordered product of operators(IWOP)has greatly stimulated the study of quantum states in the light field,especially non-Gaussian states with various non-classical properties.In this paper,the two-mode squeezing operator is derived with integral theory within the Weyl ordering product of operators using a combinatorial field in which one mode is a chaotic field and the other mode is a vacuum field.The density operator of the new light field,its entanglement property and photon number distribution are analyzed.We also note that tracing a three-mode pure state can yield this new light field.These methods represent a theoretical approach to investigating new density operators of light fields.

Equilibrium Reconstruction and Its Integration in J-TEXT

The equilibrium fitting code （EFIT） and its application in the J-TEXT tokamak are integrated by the Matlab language. The function of analysis and visualization to the results is added. In addition, the experiment data measured by soft X-ray （SXR） are used to calculate plasma equilibrium as a constraint condition. The improved EFIT code is used for J-TEXT discharge and the profiles of plasma parameters such as flux function, safety factor q, pressure and current density are obtained from the reconstructed configurations.

INTERIOR ESTIMATES IN MORREY SPACES FOR SOLUTIONS OF ELLIPTIC EQUATIONS AND WEIGHTED BOUNDEDNESS FOR COMMUTATORS OF SINGULAR INTEGRAL OPERATORS

It is proved that, for the nondivergence elliptic equations Σi,jn=1aijuxixj=f, if f belongs to the generalized Morrey spaces Lp, (w), then uxixj ∈ Lp, (w), where u is the W2,p-solution of the equations. In order to obtain this, the author first establish the weighted boundedness for the commutators of some singular integral operators on Lp, (w).

BOUNDEDNESS OF VECTOR-VALUED OPERATORS ON WEIGHTED HERZ SPACES

In this paper, the authors establish the weighted weak and strong type norm inequalities in the set of weighted Herz-type spaces for a vector-valued analogue of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator; and using this, the authors obtain the weightd inequalies for a wide class of sublinear singular operators defined onR n which include the Calderón-Zygmund operators as special cases. The fractional versions of these results are also given.

ON STEIN-WEISS CONJUGATE HARMONIC FUNCTION AND OCTONION ANALYTIC FUNCTION

It is shown that the Stein-Weiss conjugate harmonic function is the Quarternion and the Octonion analytic function. We find a counter example to show the converse is not ture in the Octonion case, by which we have answered the question proposed in [1].

SHIFT-INVARIANT BI-INNER PRODUCT FUNCTIONALS ARE INNER PRODUCTS

Bi-inner product functionals generated by a pair of Bessel sequences of L2 functions are introduced. It is shown that these functionals are constant multiples of the inner products of L2 and l2, if and only if they are shift-invariant both in space (or time) and in phase. This result is then applied to characterize dual frames and bi-orthogonal Riesz bases of L2.
