New Recognized Intellect for Prospecting Large-superlarge Mineral Deposits

Based on the data base of 1285 mineral deposits of 22 commodities in 121 countries of 6 continents of the world, the authors use the linear trend analysis for their reserves to determine the cut-off limited order of reserves to select 36 exceptional superlarge （as peak mineral）, 95 superlarge and 314 large deposits as new recognized intellect for their quantitative change. We have projected above 445 large-superlarge deposits on （1：5 M） global tectonic background map and divided 4 metallogenic domains, 21 metallogenic belts. Global metallogeny of large-superlarge deposits are： unity by endogenic, exogenic metamorphic and epigenetic in origin; speciality in different metallogenic domains and belts; preferentiality to ore-forming elements of Cu, Au, Fe, Ag, Cr, Mn, Zn, Pb, Sb, Hg, to continental margins or plate convergent belts, to Intra-continental tectono-magmatic complex belts and Large ductile shear zones; abnormality by the global oxyatmversion （excess oxygen atmospheric event） in Archean, redoxyatmversion （lack oxygen atmospheric event） in Proterozoic-Paleozoic, and tectonosphere thermal erosion （great amount of tectonic magmatic event） in Mesozoic-Cenozoic.

Where are You Going,Philosophy, and What are Your Methods?

The viability of philosophy as a genuine field of knowledge has been challenged time and again.Some have challenged“traditional”philosophy,or what was considered“traditional philosophy”at a given time;others have challenged philosophy in general.But there has been considerable progress in philosophical methodology in the 20th-and 21st-centuries.In this paper I raise challenges to some of the current misconceptions of analytic philosophy,and I propose constructive methodological solutions.

The main objective of immediate knowledge according to cAbd al-Jabbar is to prepare the ground for the person to be ready for his obligations.cAbd al-Jabbar calls this state kamal al-caql(the maturity of the intellect).When one arrives at this stage,one will be considered ready for rational obligation.cAbd al-Jabbar believes that man has an innate capacity to know the divine command that develops in him.

Spy Films and Intellectual Alienation

The article analyzes spy films as examples of alienation within modern office life. It shows how intellectual socialization within this type of life can lead to a corruption of a person’s moral capabilities. The article studies this corruption process with a focus on how the moral person, in this case the fictional spy character, uses her intellect in relation to other mental faculties and in relation to the person’s own biographical experience of time. With reference to Plato and Hannah Arendt, the article shows that the professional use of intellect has an active and a passive quality. It is passive in so far as the person acquires it gradually, through training. It is active on the other hand, since the person willingly submits to this training. The moral stakes of these spy narratives thus concerns the choice to become a certain kind of person by subjecting oneself to a certain type of intellectual training. Memory forms an entry into this question of choice in all the examined films, hence memory is also at the centre of my analysis. This psychological mode of interpretation is inspired by Paul Ricoeur’s philosophy of narrative.

Research on Knowledge Management in Global Scenarios

The aim of this article is to demonstrate how the opening of economies to the international market has intensified the need for companies to prepare themselves for the challenges and opportunities of globalization,as well as the knowledge of theoretical,technical,and cultural strategies that contribute economically and socially to the population.In this way,this phenomenon demonstrates a dynamic way of doing business,which should be the object of extensive study by the company as well as the academic community,thus enabling reflection and the correct management of the globalization process as well as professionals with specific practices and national and international experiences;obtaining this knowledge stems from technical and behavioral skills as well as skills presented by the individual.In the latter case,the competence models arise to integrate people in organizational models.We applied qualitative research,with consultant testimonials who work in international fields,for the development of this article.We concluded that management knowledge as well as intellectual capital management becomes the greatest challenge for everyone seeking sustainability and success in international business.

亚里士多德将灵魂的理性部分分为两个部分,一是科学的部分,一是计算的部分。灵魂的科学的部分是关于不变对象的,形成的是普遍的理论知识,亦即intellect。灵魂的计算部分是关于可变对象的,它主要是实践智慧,亦即intelligence。Intellect与intelligence有着种类的差异,不能混为一谈。但是,近现代认识论流行的教条却忽视两者的差别,正是在理智主义的传奇的影响下,人们使用intellectual virtue翻译亚里士多德所谓的与灵魂的理性部分相对应的德性。理智主义的传奇反映在伦理学中,表现为伦理学忽视实践智慧,道德被简化为理论活动。

Current status and development trends of innovative blast furnace ironmaking technologies aimed to environmental harmony and operation intellectualization

Blast furnace （BF） ironmaking is dominant for reducing pollution emission and energy consumption in iron and steel industry, Under the increasingly strict environmental pressure, some innovative tech nologies of BF ironmaking for environmental protection have been developed and applied in actual op- erating facilities. The current state of BF ironmaking in Europe, America, Japan, and China were briefly overviewed. Moreover, some innovative BF ironmaking technologies aiming at environmental harmony and operation intellectualization in the world, such as waste gas recycling sintering, BF op eration with coke oven gas injection, ferro coke, lime coating coke, BF visualization and intellectuali zation, were roundly summarized. Finally, some discussion on the technologies was carried out and the development trends of BF ironmaking were pointed out. The review could provide references and supports for the progress of environment friendly technologies of BF ironmaking, thereby promoting their practical applications and achieving sustainable development of BF ironmaking, especially for Chinese ironmaking industry.

Aristotle, the Intellect, and Cognition

It is argued in this paper that the famous ＂Active Intellect＂ of De Anima 3.5 is not God, as Alexander of Aphrodisias held, but rather an unchanging, eternally cognizing Intellect which serves as the indispensable condition for the operation of human intellect. It is ＂at the door＂ for each individual, ready to flow in as a stream of light--a light which renders potential objects of cognition knowable, just as visible light makes potentially visible objects visible--from outside that door （thyrathen） any time it is opened. Its existence cannot serve, however, as a proof of the immortality of human intellect, since, being unchanging, it can never possess a feature of human intellect which is characterized by nothing if not change, and that is memory.

Discussion about the Triple Foundational Relationship between Intellect,Emotion,and Willing from the Perspective of the Phenomenology of Consciousness

There are at least three foundational relationships between the three conscious acts of intellect,emotion,and willing.Section 2 covers the structural foundational relationship(Brentano and Husserl in his early period):all conscious acts are intentional and can be divided into objectifying(intuition and representation)and non・objectifying acts(emotion and willing).Because a non-objectifying act cannot constitute an object,things must be based on objectifying acts and the object constituted by the latter;in this sense,a non-objectifying act is rooted in an objectifying one.Section 3 explains the genetic foundational issue with consciousness(Husserl in his later period,Scheier,and Heidegger):the stream of consciousness has its earliest origins and follows a process where it gradually unfolds.The earliest origin is the intentional willing,followed by nonintentional feelings,and,finally,the representation and thinking of willing.Intentional activity taking place afterward must be based on the conscious activity that has come already.Section 4 points out that,apart from the two aforementioned kinds of foundational relationships(i.e.structural and genetic),a third foundational relationship(i.e.dynamic)can also be found between the conscious acts of intellect,emotion,and willing in the Consciousness-only school(a Buddhist tradition in the East).In a continuous activity,the foundational relationship between the three aspects of intellect,emotion,and willing always remains encased in dynamic changes,and the change of primary and secondary roles(i.e.a change in the foundational relationship)could happen at any time.From this perspective,one can explain and resolve the confrontation and conflicts between the two former foundational relationships.
