An intelligent remote control system based on a power distribution unit(PDU) and Arduino has been designed for the electron cyclotron emission imaging(ECEI) system on Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak(EAST). This intelligent system has three major functions:ECEI system reboot, measurement region adjustment and signal amplitude optimization. The observation region of ECEI can be modified for different physics proposals by remotely tuning the optical and electronics systems. Via the remote adjustment of the attenuation level, the ECEI intermediate frequency signal amplitude can be efficiently optimized. The remote control system provides a feasible and reliable solution for the improvement of signal quality and the efficiency of the ECEI diagnostic system, which is also valuable for other diagnostic systems. 展开更多

At present, the main work of electron optical system CAD is solving equations and calculating mumerical values. However, the design perhaps needs more inference and expertise than numerical calculations because the structure of electron lens system is complicated. In this paper, a primary expert system is applied to design the electron lens system intelligently. This expert system is combined with SEU-3D program which is used to simulate the electron optical system to optimize the electron lens systems. In spite of this, the expert system which is established in this paper can also be used to diagnose the electron lens system. Although the knowledge base is small and rules are not abundant, this paper has used this system to obtain some very useful results. The initial success with this system suggests that further work need to be done whether more rules and knowledge will be added to extend the ability of expert system. 展开更多

Intelligent ion gels,which possess highly tunable mechanical,electrical,and stimulus‐responsive properties,have emerged as powerful candidates in the field of artificial intelligence,telemedicine,and health monitoring.To enrich the functionality of ion gels,it is critical to explore the link between the structure and function of ion gels.In this review,we provide an overview of the synthesis path and functional derivatives of ion gels.The conformational relationships of ion gels have been discussed,such as the effect of structure on electrical conductivity as well as sensing properties.From the perspective of stimulus response,the role of ion gels in areas such as bionic haptics,neural devices,artificial muscles,and intelligent displays has also been explored.It is possible that smart ion gels will open up a new horizon in the upcoming smart era,especially after the current challenges are resolved. 展开更多

As a widely used security device,the electronic passworded locker is designed to protect personal property and space.However,once the password is leaked to an unauthorized person,its security is lost.Here,with the assistance of triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs),we present an intelligent electronic passworded locker(IEPL)based on unique and personalized security barriers,which can accurately extract users’habits of entering passwords through integrated deep learning.The key of the IEPL adopts the single electrode mode of TENG that accurately recognizes the input behavior of a person based on machine learning,which serves as a reliable,unique,unreproducible gate,with advantages of thin thickness,diversified structure,and simple preparation method.Finally,the proposed IEPL offers a reliable solution for improving the overall security of passworded lockers and extending the application of TENG-based sensors in the smart home. 展开更多

Smart networks such as active distribution network(ADN)and microgrid(MG)play an important role in power system operation.The design and implementation of appropriate protection systems for MG and ADN must be addressed,which imposes new technical challenges.This paper presents the implementation and validation aspects of an adaptive fault detection strategy based on neural networks(NNs)and multiple sampling points for ADN and MG.The solution is implemented on an edge device.NNs are used to derive a data-driven model that uses only local measurements to detect fault states of the network without the need for communication infrastructure.Multiple sampling points are used to derive a data-driven model,which allows the generalization considering the implementation in physical systems.The adaptive fault detector model is implemented on a Jetson Nano system,which is a single-board computer(SBC)with a small graphic processing unit(GPU)intended to run machine learning loads at the edge.The proposed method is tested in a physical,real-life,low-voltage network located at Universidad del Norte,Colombia.This testing network is based on the IEEE 13-node test feeder scaled down to 220 V.The validation in a simulation environment shows the accuracy and dependability above 99.6%,while the real-time tests show the accuracy and dependability of 95.5%and 100%,respectively.Without hard-to-derive parameters,the easy-to-implement embedded model highlights the potential for real-life applications. 展开更多

Based on the standardized cyber-physical modeling and communication system-IEC 61850,this paper establishes the operational control architecture of a low-voltage multi-terminal DC(LV-MTDC)system.The coordinated operational control strategies,including power electronic transformer(PET),and voltage source converter(VSC),are proposed.Then a cyberphysical model of the system based on IEC 61850 is built,according to the application requirements of operational control in the LV-MTDC system.On this basis,the implementation method of system operational control based on IEC 61850 is proposed,including the software/hardware design of the intelligent electronic device(IED),dispatching operations and uninterrupted power supply.The simulation environment is further built to verify the system operational control technology,and the test platform is used to carry out the actual tests.The research results show that the operational control technology for the LV-MTDC system proposed in this paper is feasible,which can guarantee the rapid and accurate information exchange of control commands and settings,and thus effectively realize the operational control of the LV-MTDC system under complex conditions. 展开更多
