Seismic geophone is the key instrument for seismic data acquisition in the fields of oil and gas exploration and other relevant fields.It plays an important role in data quality,subsequent processing and interpretatio...Seismic geophone is the key instrument for seismic data acquisition in the fields of oil and gas exploration and other relevant fields.It plays an important role in data quality,subsequent processing and interpretation.Aiming at the shortcomings of the existing geophones,such as large volume,heavy weight,unable to monitor in real-time,and heavy workload of data transmission and storage,this paper designs and implements a wireless geophone based on STM32 embedded microcontroller.It is mainly composed of STM32 microcontroller,acceleration sensor,global positioning system(GPS)module,Wi-Fi module and real-time seismic data receiving and processing module.Firstly,the acceleration of vibration in three directions is sensed by the acceleration sensor;secondly,the sampling and analog-to-digital conversion of the vibration data is controlled by the microcontroller;thirdly,the vibration and GPS data are sent to the personal computer(PC)through Wi-Fi,and the personal coomputer PC-side software module completes the reception,display,monitoring and storage of the seismic data;finally,the feasibility and effectiveness of the designed wireless geophone are verified through actual seismic data acquisition experiments.展开更多

Volatile organic compounds(VOC)gas detection devices based on semiconductor sensors have become a common method due to their low cost,simple principle,and small size.However,with the continuous development of material...Volatile organic compounds(VOC)gas detection devices based on semiconductor sensors have become a common method due to their low cost,simple principle,and small size.However,with the continuous development of materials science,various new materials have been applied in the fabrication of gas sensors,but these new materials have more stringent requirements for operating temperature,which cannot be met by existing sensor modules on the market.Therefore,this paper proposes a temperature-adjustable sensor module and designs an environmental monitoring system based on the STM32F103RET6 microprocessor.This system primarily utilizes multiple semiconductor gas sensors to monitor and record the concentrations of various harmful gases in different environments.It can also monitor real-time temperature,humidity,and latitude and longitude in the current environment,and upload the data to the Internet of Things via 4G communication.This system has the advantages of small size,portability,and low cost.Experimental results show that the sensor module can achieve precise control of operating temperature to a certain extent,with an average temperature error of approximately 3%.The monitoring system demonstrates a certain level of accuracy in detecting target gases and can promptly upload the data to a cloud platform for storage and processing.A comparison with professional testing equipment shows that the sensitivity curves of each sensor exhibit similarity.This study provides engineering and technical references for the application of VOC gas sensors.展开更多

People who are deaf or have difficulty speaking use sign language,which consists of hand gestures with particular motions that symbolize the“language”they are communicating.A gesture in a sign language is a particul...People who are deaf or have difficulty speaking use sign language,which consists of hand gestures with particular motions that symbolize the“language”they are communicating.A gesture in a sign language is a particular movement of the hands with a specific shape from the fingers and whole hand.In this paper,we present an Intelligent for Deaf/Dumb People approach in real time based on Deep Learning using Gloves(IDLG).The approach IDLG offers scientific contributions based deep-learning,a multimode command techniques,real-time,and effective use,and high accuracy rates.For this purpose,smart gloves working in real time were designed.The data obtained from the gloves was processed using deep-learning-based approaches and classified multi-mode commands that allow dumb people to speak with regular people via their smart phone.Internally,the glove has five flex sensors and an accelerometer using to achieve Low-Cost Control System.The flex sensor generates a proportional change in resistance for each individual move.The processing of these hand gestures is in Atmega32A Microcontroller which is an advance version of the microcontroller and the lab view software.IDLG compares the input signal to memory-stored specified voltage values.The performance of the IDLG approach was verified on a dataset created using different hand gestures from 20 different people.In the test using the IDLG approach on 10,000 data points,process time performance of milliseconds was achieved with 97%accuracy.展开更多
A pair of synchronous line-tracking robots based on STM 32 are designed.Each robot is actually a small intelligent car with seven reflective infrared photoelectric sensors ST 188 installed in the front to track the li...A pair of synchronous line-tracking robots based on STM 32 are designed.Each robot is actually a small intelligent car with seven reflective infrared photoelectric sensors ST 188 installed in the front to track the line.Two rear wheels each driven by a moter are the driving wheels,while each moter is driven by an H-bridge circuit.The running direction is controlled by the turning of a servo fastened to the front wheel and the adjustment of speed difference between the rear wheels.Besides,the light-adaptive line-tracking can be performed.The speeds of the motors are controlled by adjusting pulse-width modulation(PWM)values and an angular displacement transducer is used to detect the relative position of the cars in real time.Thus,the speeds of the cars can be adjusted in time so that the synchronism of the cars can be achieved.Through experiments,the fast and accurate synchronous tracking can be well realized.展开更多
