Empowerment of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching Reform of Ideological and Political Courses in Universities

The rapid development of artificial intelligence(AI)technology has brought new opportunities and challenges to the field of education.As an important link in cultivating students’comprehensive quality and socialist core values,it is necessary to carry out continuous teaching reform and innovation in ideological and political courses in colleges and universities.Based on the concept of AI empowering the teaching reform of ideological and political courses,this study aims to explore how to use artificial intelligence technology to improve the teaching effect and learning experience of ideological and political courses.The research first analyzes the application status of artificial intelligence technology in education,and then discusses the application potential of artificial intelligence in ideological and political courses.Subsequently,the teaching reform strategy of ideological and political courses based on artificial intelligence is proposed,including the use of virtual reality technology,the application of intelligent auxiliary teaching tools to enhance personalized teaching,and the construction of an intelligent learning management system.Lastly,a case analysis is conducted to explore the implementation effect of the teaching reform of ideological and political courses in universities.The results showed that the application of artificial intelligence technology can effectively improve the teaching effect and learning experience of ideological and political courses,and provide new ideas and methods for the teaching reform of ideological and political courses in universities.

ChatGPT as an Educational Tool: Opportunities, Challenges, and Recommendations for Communication, Business Writing, and Composition Courses

This empirical study examines ChatGPT as an educational and learning tool.It investigates the opportunities and challenges that ChatGPT provides to the students and instructors of communication,business writing,and composition courses.It also strives to provide recommendations.After conducting 30 theory-based and application-based ChatGPT tests,it is found that ChatGPT has the potential of replacing search engines as it provides accurate and reliable input to students.For opportunities,the study found that ChatGPT provides a platform for students to seek answers to theory-based questions and generate ideas for application-based questions.It also provides a platform for instructors to integrate technology in classrooms and conduct workshops to discuss and evaluate generated responses.For challenges,the study found that ChatGPT,if unethically used by students,may lead to human unintelligence and unlearning.This may also present a challenge to instructors as the use of ChatGPT negatively affects their ability to differentiate between meticulous and automation-dependent students,on the one hand,and measure the achievement of learning outcomes,on the other hand.Based on the outcome of the analysis,this study recommends communication,business writing,and composition instructors to(1)refrain from making theory-based questions as take-home assessments,(2)provide communication and business writing students with detailed case-based and scenario-based assessment tasks that call for personalized answers utilizing critical,creative,and imaginative thinking incorporating lectures and textbook material,(3)enforce submitting all take-home assessments on plagiarism detection software,especially for composition courses,and(4)integrate ChatGPT generated responses in classes as examples to be discussed in workshops.Remarkably,this study found that ChatGPT skillfully paraphrases regenerated responses in a way that is not detected by similarity detection software.To maintain their effectiveness,similarity detection software providers need to upgrade their software to avoid such incidents from slipping unnoticed.

Exploration and Application of Ubiquitous Mapping in Engineering Practice Courses in the Intelligence Age

In the current era of digital surveying and mapping to intelligent surveying and mapping,ubiquitous surveying and mapping has brought many opportunities and challenges to college engineering course teaching.With the development of ubiquitous surveying and mapping,college engineering practice courses urgently need to respond to ubiquitous surveying and mapping.The research aims to integrate the development of ubiquitous surveying and mapping into the teaching of engineering practice courses in colleges,including promoting Android,Brower/Server(B/S),and Client/Server(C/S)to build a platform for practice courses.This also incorporates real development cases in measurement data processing such as gravity field refinement.In this way,the teaching level of engineering practice courses in colleges can be improved,and new ideas can be put forward for cultivating surveying and mapping talents in the new era in colleges.Finally,it can also provide new ideas for the organization of surveying and mapping practice courses under the background of the pandemic.

Building a Web-based EFL Course with Open Source CMS in Vocational Colleges

Aiming to solve the existing problems with the Quality Course,an EFL online course is developed with an Open Source Course Management System(CMS).The principles and strategies of designing and constructing the course are discussed.The process of developing vocational college students'professional and social competence in the web-based environment is ex plored.Research results show the students are satisfied with the web-based EFL course and the teaching.

Precision Education Evaluations for Small Class Courses Using Artificial Intelligence

Recently,small class course teaching,with less than 30 students,seems to outperform the traditional large class course teaching in the field of education.Students can use online private course platform to preview course-related knowledge and promote practical experiences of offline courses.In this study,an evaluation strategy has been proposed for precision education protocol in small class course(SCC)based on artificial intelligence(AI),with the goal of focusing on the curriculum design and teaching approaches.By using the AI precision education model,the teaching approaches of SCC can be integrated into the traditional classroom.The results showed that the AI precision education model can promote the learning outcomes and enhance students’learning achievements.

Research on the Application of Deep Learning in Artificial Intelligence Courses

With the in-depth reform of education,taking students as the center,letting students master the basic knowledge of the theory,but also training students’practical skills,is an important goal of the current artificial intelligence curriculum teaching reform.As a new learning method,deep learning is applied to the teaching of artificial intelligence courses,which can not only give play to students’subjective initiative,but also improve the efficiency of students’classroom learning.In order to explore the specific application of deep learning in the teaching of artificial intelligence courses,this article analyzes the key points of the application of deep learning in artificial intelligence courses.In addition,further explores the application strategies of deep learning in artificial intelligence courses.As it aims to provide some useful references to improve the actual efficiency of artificial intelligence course teaching.

Learning Pet-Intelligent Agents for WBE

An intelligent agent is any program that can be considered by the user to be acting as an assistant or helper, rather than as a tool in the manner of a conventional direct-manipulation interface. An agent should as well display some, but perhaps not all, of the characteristics that are associated with human intelligence: learning, inference, adaptability,independence, creativity, etc.. In order to make webbased education (WBE) more vividly and instructionally with learner's independence at the same time, the intelligent agent can act as a learning pet, which is affiliated with learner's score or grades and will grow up with learner's achievement. And during the course of study, the learning pet can provides any information required by the learner, gives hints if necessary when the learner doing his/her assignment, offers instructional guide for further study etc..

Dominant Meaning Method for Intelligent Topic-Based Information Agent towards More Flexible MOOCs

The use of agent technology in a dynamic environment is rapidly growing as one of the powerful technologies and the need to provide the benefits of the Intelligent Information Agent technique to massive open online courses, is very important from various aspects including the rapid growing of MOOCs environments, and the focusing more on static information than on updated information. One of the main problems in such environment is updating the information to the needs of the student who interacts at each moment. Using such technology can ensure more flexible information, lower waste time and hence higher earnings in learning. This paper presents Intelligent Topic-Based Information Agent to offer an updated knowledge including various types of resource for students. Using dominant meaning method, the agent searches the Internet, controls the metadata coming from the Internet, filters and shows them into a categorized content lists. There are two experiments conducted on the Intelligent Topic-Based Information Agent: one measures the improvement in the retrieval effectiveness and the other measures the impact of the agent on the learning. The experiment results indicate that our methodology to expand the query yields a considerable improvement in the retrieval effectiveness in all categories of Google Web Search API. On the other hand, there is a positive impact on the performance of learning session.

Studying Chinese Characters in a Web-Based Learning Environment: A Case Study of Swedish University Students

This survey study aims to investigate the perceptions learners have of the character-learning strategies they employ when taking a web-based course in Chinese.The seven Likert-scale statements are included in the questionnaire to examine learners’opinions on the three character-learning strategies that are widely used in traditional campus courses.A total of 65 students who completed the beginner level‘Chinese Characters’web-based course at a university in Sweden completed the survey.The results suggest that students in web-based courses consider these three strategies to be just as helpful and effective as campus students;moreover,the more orthodox strategy-rote learning-is found to be the most popular among distance students.Furthermore,findings of this study provide insight into the limitations and advantages associated with a web-based course,and also the possible effect learners’age and gender may have on learning strategy preferences.

Prefabricated building is an important building development mode at present.It can improve the development speed and production efficiency of the construction industry,reduce the labor intensity of construction,play an important role in the development as well as the modernization of the construction industry.Due to the late development of prefabricated buildings,the talent training of prefabricated buildings lags behind,causing the development of prefabricated buildings to not achieve its required target.Therefore,the characteristics of intelligent construction need to be incorporated,the education of prefabricated buildings needs to be reformed,the education regarding digital management of prefabricated buildings should be improved,and more professional talents should be nurtured.

本文构建了“四层”人工智能课程群课程体系,对人工智能课程群的课程内容进行整合与重构;围绕课程群内各课程的教学目标和讲授内容,挖掘各课程思政元素,根据课程间的内容联系和逻辑关系,将思政元素整合为爱国主义和科技兴国、科学思维和工匠精神、创新开放和工程思维、科学伦理和职业道德等四类,并有机融入课程教学,形成界限分明、互为补充、各具特色的思政课程体系;通过课程考核评价机制验证人工智能课程群的思政教学成效。实践结果表明,该课程群思政教学有助于实现价值塑造、能力培养和知识传播的课程目标。

基于FAHP方法的智能建造微专业课程设置研究

将智能建造人才培养需求和微专业建设优势有机结合,基于模糊层次分析法(FAHP)提出了智能建造微专业课程设置的模型方法。首先,分析智能建造微专业培养目标与毕业要求,建立智能建造微专业课程库;进而根据对应学校的培养目标和专业基础,运用FAHP计算拟设课程与学校培养目标和专业基础的耦合匹配度,从中优选出匹配度较高的课程,确定学校智能建造微专业的课程群。对武汉理工大学智能建造微专业课程设置进行实证分析,计算结果表明:该方法能有效优选出与学校办学优势适配的工程物联网与智慧工地、工程智能监测与运维等课程,有利于增强微专业课程设置的科学性,实现特色培养目标。
