Study on the Epistemology Development of the Correlation between Human Beings and Nature

This study aimed to alert people that the harmony between human beings and nature has already become an urgent problem. All people are responsible for maintaining the harmony, which is the also the inexorable trend of historical development. Reviewing the evolution history of human kind, the relationship between human beings and nature from harmony to imbalance, from imbalance to a new harmony was analyzed from the macro perspective, and it was pointed out that the present society is in the transitional phase from imbalance to a new harmony and also a phase that people are consciously coordinating their relationship with nature. It was found through the study that a harmonious society relies on the harmony between human beings and nature, and the latter is a necessary condition for a real harmonious society, however, people always forget such a principle. The imbalanced relationship between human beings and nature has seriously influenced many aspects of social harmony, and become instable factors in China and international society, even threatened the development and survival of human beings. Thus, all people should make joint efforts in creating win-win conditions for the development between human beings and nature, and ensuring offspring a healthy and green earth.

Comparison and Inspiration of the Theme of Relationship between Human Beings and Nature in the Field of Literature between China and the West

The relationship between human beings and nature influences the expressions and manifestations of literature. Literature can spy on the nature exploration of human society and ideological values in the thinking and behavior patterns,expressing the relationship between human beings and nature. After the successful shaking of the fixed order, Wide Sargasso Sea also drops a hint that there exists the hope to build a new world where human beings and nature, men and women keep a harmonious and balanced relationship.

Assessing the impacts of human activities and climate variations on grassland productivity by partial least squares structural equation modeling(PLS-SEM)

The cause-effect associations between geographical phenomena are an important focus in ecological research. Recent studies in structural equation modeling（SEM） demonstrated the potential for analyzing such associations. We applied the variance-based partial least squares SEM（PLS-SEM） and geographically-weighted regression（GWR） modeling to assess the human-climate impact on grassland productivity represented by above-ground biomass（AGB）. The human and climate factors and their interaction were taken to explain the AGB variance by a PLS-SEM developed for the grassland ecosystem in Inner Mongolia, China. Results indicated that 65.5% of the AGB variance could be explained by the human and climate factors and their interaction. The case study showed that the human and climate factors imposed a significant and negative impact on the AGB and that their interaction alleviated to some extent the threat from the intensified human-climate pressure. The alleviation may be attributable to vegetation adaptation to high human-climate stresses, to human adaptation to climate conditions or/and to recent vegetation restoration programs in the highly degraded areas. Furthermore, the AGB response to the human and climate factors modeled by GWR exhibited significant spatial variations. This study demonstrated that the combination of PLS-SEM and GWR model is feasible to investigate the cause-effect relation in socio-ecological systems.

Interpreting and Extracting Open Knowledge for Human-Robot Interaction

A more natural way for non-expert users to express their tasks in an open-ended set is to use natural language. In this case,a human-centered intelligent agent/robot is required to be able to understand and generate plans for these naturally expressed tasks. For this purpose, it is a good way to enhance intelligent robot's abilities by utilizing open knowledge extracted from the web, instead of hand-coded knowledge. A key challenge of utilizing open knowledge lies in the semantic interpretation of the open knowledge organized in multiple modes, which can be unstructured or semi-structured, before one can use it.Previous approaches used a limited lexicon to employ combinatory categorial grammar(CCG) as the underlying formalism for semantic parsing over sentences. Here, we propose a more effective learning method to interpret semi-structured user instructions. Moreover, we present a new heuristic method to recover missing semantic information from the context of an instruction. Experiments showed that the proposed approach renders significant performance improvement compared to the baseline methods and the recovering method is promising.

Latent Challenges in the Human-Nature Relationship for Sustainable Design and Planning

In the global context, the relationship between human beings and nature has been discussed in various fields of study. This paper introduced three of the important challenges in this relationship, which have, thus far, been only partially or implicitly acknowledged in design and planning. The aim was to elucidate the key disregarded and neglected aspects in the human-nature relationship that need to be considered in different phases of the design and planning of future projects. This paper will thus inform the designers and planners about the previously overlooked but important challenges in the human-nature relationship, which must be moved to the foreground of the design and planning processes. These challenges include the definition of the term “nature”, the reciprocal effects among scales and adhering to or going beyond environmental sustainability. As the main conclusion, the paper shows how these challenges can improve the mutually supportive interaction between human beings and nature in the field of design and planning. Specifically speaking, the paper discussed how to convert the overlooked challenges in the human-nature relationship into potentials in the design and planning process. The main applied methods for this paper were a review of the related literature and the appropriate analysis.

Global Bioethical Prevention of the Collision of Biological and Cultural Evolution on Miserable Human Survival

With the cultural myth that science can only determine the way the world ＂is＂ （facts）, while humanities, social sciences, lawyers, philosophers, and theologians must determine the way the world ＂ought to be＂ （values）, those in position of global-, national-, and local-political power make major decisions of the use （or non-use） of scientific knowledge and technology. As a result, the human being has created a non-scientifically based cultural environment that is affecting his ability to survive. In effect, cultural evolution is occurring more rapidly than biological evolution that can adapt to the changes brought about in the physical and psycho-social environments. In a pluralistic cultural world, where each society has generated a different view of human nature and different ethical values, the use, misuse, or non-use of scientific and technological advances are derived from these unscientific views of human nature. Since all life depends on limiting interacting environmental and ecological factors, it is imperative that scientific information be used to govern how to minimize irreversible effects on life-sustaining ecological factors, but also scientific information bearing on understanding human nature ought to be integrated into a ＂global bioethics＂. While ethical values cannot be directly derived from scientific factors, it is also true that human values or our ＂ought＂ cannot be maintained in ignorance or defiance of the facts or the ＂is＂.

Due to this, they are considered as being useless in the society but I do believe that they have complete natural human rights and are not useless for they are aware of each act they perform. It is observed that the mentally offset human hardly acquire a disease from natural origin, I do believe that due to this lack of a reversible interaction between the soul and the spirit, the immune system is reprogrammed such that there is a lack of recognition of exogenous and endogenous pathological substances and there is no means of interaction between these substances and the body cells.

Carboxylesterases mediated herb-drug interactions:a systematic review

Esterases participate in the metabolism of^10%of the clinical drugs that contain ester or amide bonds,but the esterases mediated drug/herb-drug interactions(DDIs or HDIs)have not been reviewed in depth.Carboxylesterases(CEs),the most abundant esterases expressed in the metabolic organ of mammals,play a pivotal role in hydrolysis of a variety of endogenous and xenobiotic esters.In the human body,two predominant carboxylesterases including hCE1 and hCE2 have been identified and extensively studied over the past decade.These two enzymes have been found with hydrolytic activity towards a variety of endogenous esters and ester-containing drugs.Recent studies have demonstrated that strong inhibition on hCEs may slow down the hydrolysis of CEs substrates,which may affect their pharmacokinetic properties and thus trigger potential DDIs or HDIs.Over the past decade,many herbal extracts and herbal constitutes have been found with strong inhibitory effects against CEs,and their potential risks on herb-drug interactions(HDIs)have also attracted much attention.This review focused on recent progress in hCEs mediated herb-drug interactions.The roles of hCEs in drug metabolism,the inhibitory capacities and inhibition mechanism of a variety of herbal extract and herbal constitutes against hCEs have been well summarized.Furthermore,the challenges and future perspectives in this field are highlighted by the authors.All information and knowledge presented in this review will be very helpful for the pharmacologists to deeper understand the metabolic interactions between herbal constituents and hCEs,as well as for clinical clinicians to reasonable use herbal medicines for alleviating hCEs-associated drug toxicity or avoiding the occurrence of clinically relevant hCEs-mediated HDIs.

针对当前雷达显控终端承担的操控任务多、操作步骤复杂等问题,提出了利用自然人机交互技术提升人机交互效率的方法。采用触控显示器、触控一体机、视频处理模块、语音处理模块、指纹识别模块、虚拟现实(VR)交互设备等,通过增加触控、语音、图像处理、VR、生物特征鉴权等多种自然人机交互技术拓展了人机交互的方式;根据雷达显控终端的交互情景,采用选择型多模态融合交互方式,大幅提高了雷达显控终端的人机交互效率,使得人机交互更为自然和舒适。VR交互设备在多维信息展示、场景仿真与推演、模拟训练等场合发挥了明显的优势,自然化和人机融合的智能交互方式将是未来的发展趋势。

“天命之性”的现代解读——兼及戴震对朱子的辩驳

天命之性是程朱理学核心概念之一。意思是,人的存在即性,与生俱来。性有二重,一曰气质之性,一曰天命之性,天命之性即理。按现代观念,人的社会存在是其一切社会关系之总和。每个人一出生即落入某些社会关系之中。说社会存在与生俱来,或许成立。但是,朱子所说的天命之性,指的是天理(仁义礼智),落在人身,实为文化存在。此学说的涵义是:人生来就是高贵的,具备尊严。这为现代人人平等的观念奠定了基础。但仁义礼智是否与生俱来,却是个要研讨的问题。本文的解决思路是:将“天命之性”之“天”解读为意义世界,即属于第三世界;而将“天命”解读为来源于意义世界,因其并非与生俱来,而是在成长过程中得其教化。于是,工夫论要作调整,由朱子的复性论改变为充实完满论。自我,即本己存在。自我建构不仅有文化存在维度,还有社会存在维度。社会存在维度可以设计;文化存在维度目的唯一,即朱子所论。戴震深刻剖析了朱子的天命之性,恢复天命之性乃是气禀(血气心知)的古代学说,否定性即理,解构理义、气质二本,破性本善,开启了现代解读之路。

中国古典生命教育思想意涵及其现代阐释--基于《中庸》“尽性”观的研究

《中庸》“尽人之性”指向人之生命充分整全发展,即让其自然天性得以真实、彻底、自由地呈现与绽放,使人是其所是,成其所成;《中庸》“尽物之性”是指在成就自我生命的同时实现成就他人或他物的目的,让万物生命各得其所,各安其生。《中庸》借助“尽人之性”“尽物之性”等特有的概念范畴表达了其丰富的中国古典生命教育思想意涵:尊重生命的自然规律是朴素原理;促进生命的整全发展是目的旨归;唤醒生命的自觉能动性是动力源泉;达成生命的和谐共生是理想追求;等等。这些思想至今仍具有宝贵的借鉴价值。

针对雷达系统对于显控终端的功能重构需求,提出了基于SNMP协议的交换机在线配置方法、数据源在线选择方法,实现了显控终端的功能自动重构,显著降低了显控终端功能调整的复杂度,提高了系统的使用灵活性和可靠性。通过增加自然人机交互手段、采用智能化工具、基于人因工程的造型和布局设计等实现显控终端的智能人机交互,大幅提高显控终端的人机交互效率。以大数据为驱动,通过辅助决策系统进行智能判别、信息推送,降低了操作员决策的难度,提高了精准度。
