In order to provide a simple and efficient approach to perform the real-time interactive motion control of virtual human in virtual maintenance environment(VME),the motion control method of virtual human based on limited input information is proposed. With the space position tracking system with only one sensor the action sequences and motion models of virtual human, the human motions and hand actions in VME are driven by the sensor data in stages and in real time through the transmission condition control in the process of maintenance operation. And the input data and information is processed based on the method of Kalman filtering and wavelet transforming to improve the control effects. An experimental VME is also established to validate the control efficiency, and the experiment results show that the space motion control of virtual human in VME can be performed based on limited information with proposed control strategy. 展开更多

A frequency domain analysis method based on the three-dimensional translating-pulsating (3DTP) source Green function is developed to investigate wave loads and free motions of two ships advancing on parallel course in waves. Two experiments are carried out respectively to mea- sure the wave loads and the free motions for a pair of side-by- side arranged ship models advancing with an identical speed in head regular waves. For comparison, each model is also tested alone. Predictions obtained by the present solution are found in favorable agreement with the model tests and are more accurate than the traditional method based on the three dimensional pulsating (3DP) source Green function. Numer- ical resonances and peak shift can be found in the 3DP pre- dictions, which result from the wave energy trapped in the gap between two ships and the extremely inhomogeneous wave load distribution on each hull. However, they can be eliminated by 3DTP, in which the speed affects the free sur- face and most of the wave energy can be escaped from the gap. Both the experiment and the present prediction show that hydrodynamic interaction effects on wave loads and free motions are significant. The present solver may serve as a validated tool to predict wave loads and motions of two ves- sels under replenishment at sea, and may help to evaluate the hydrodynamic interaction effects on the ships safety in replenishment operation. 展开更多

The effect of mechanical properties of erythrocytes on the near-wall motion of platelets was numerically studied with the immersed boundary method. Cells were modeled as viscous-fluid-filled capsules surrounded by hyper-elastic membranes with negligible thickness. The numerical results show that with the increase of hematocrit, the near-wall approaching of platelets is enhanced, with which platelets exhibit larger deformation and orientation angle of its near-wall tank-treading motion, and the lateral force pushing platelets to the wall is increased with larger fluctuation amplitude. Meanwhile the near-wall approaching is reduced by increasing the stiffness of erythrocytes. 展开更多

A time-dependent mild-slope equation for the extension of the classic mild-slope equation of Berkhoff is developed for the interactions of large ambient currents and waves propagating over an uneven bottom, using a Hamiltonian formulation for irrotational motions. The bottom topography consists of two components the slowly varying component which satisfies the mild-slope approximation, and the fast varying component with wavelengths on the order of the surface wavelength but amplitudes which scale as a small parameter describing the mild-slope condition. The theory is more widely applicable and contains as special cases the following famous mild-slope type equations: the classical mild-Slope equation, Kirby's extended mild-slope equation with current, and Dingemans's mild-slope equation for rippled bed. Finally, good agreement between the classic experimental data concerning Bragg reflection and the present numerical results is observed. 展开更多

Based on light field reconstruction and motion recognition technique, a penetrable interactive floating 3D display system is proposed. The system consists of a high-frame-rate projector, a flat directional diffusing screen, a high-speed data transmission module, and a Kinect somatosensory device. The floating occlusioncorrect 3D image could rotate around some axis at different speeds according to user's hand motion. Eight motion directions and speed are detected accurately, and the prototype system operates efficiently with a recognition accuracy of 90% on average. 展开更多

Humans regularly interact with their surrounding objects.Such interactions often result in strongly correlated motions between humans and the interacting objects. We thus ask:"Is it possible to infer object properties from skeletal motion alone, even without seeing the interacting object itself?"In this paper,we present a fine-grained action recognition method that learns to infer such latent object properties from human interaction motion alone. This inference allows us to disentangle the motion from the object property and transfer object properties to a given motion. We collected a large number of videos and 3 D skeletal motions of performing actors using an inertial motion capture device. We analyzed similar actions and learned subtle differences between them to reveal latent properties of the interacting objects. In particular,we learned to identify the interacting object,by estimating its weight,or its spillability. Our results clearly demonstrate that motions and interacting objects are highly correlated and that related object latent properties can be inferred from 3 D skeleton sequences alone, leading to new synthesis possibilities for motions involving human interaction. Our dataset is available at http://vcc.szu.edu.cn/research/2020/IT.html. 展开更多
