A Study on the Pedagogical Application of Chinese New Year Culture in International Chinese Language Education

Culture teaching is an inseparable part of International Chinese Language Education,and it has great significance in international Chinese language teaching.Students can enhance their interest in Chinese language learning and improve their learning effect through understanding the excellent traditional Chinese culture,at the same time,culture teaching can help to disseminate the Chinese culture and promote the development of a multicultural world.Taking the teaching of Chinese New Year culture as an example,we analyze the current teaching materials involving Chinese New Year culture with high popularity and acceptance,put forward effective teaching methods matching the feasibility of teaching Chinese New Year culture,and then present the specific teaching design of Chinese New Year culture,in order to provide references for the teaching of culture in International Chinese Language Education.

Knowledge Graph Analysis of International Chinese Language Textbooks Based on CiteSpace

Drawing upon relevant papers from Chinese core journals and CSSCI source journals in the CNKI China Academic Journals Full-Text Database spanning from 1992 to 2023,this study utilizes CiteSpace as a research tool to visually analyze the knowledge graph structure of research on international Chinese language textbooks in China.The study maps out the publication timeline,authors,institutions,collaborative networks,and keywords pertaining to research on international Chinese language textbooks.The findings indicate that research on international Chinese language textbooks commenced early and continues to maintain a certain level of research interest,yet lacks sufficient research output.Research institutions predominantly reside in universities and publishing groups specializing in language or education,with collaboration between institutions being relatively scarce.High-frequency keywords in recent research on international Chinese language textbooks include“Chinese language textbooks for the Foreigners,”“Chinese language textbooks,”“Teaching Chinese Language for the Foreigners,”“Textbook compilation,”“International Chinese Language Education and Localization,”which reflect a diversified research perspective with interdisciplinary trends.Future research priorities encompass research on localization,customization of textbooks,and evaluation of textbooks which represent forefront directions of research.

Promoting the International Dissemination of Chinese Culture Through International Chinese Language Education: A Case Study of Chinese-English Idiomatic Equivalence

One major task of our improvement of China’s international communication capabilities is to tell China’s stories well and make China’s voice heard to communicate a comprehensive,multi-dimensional view of China in the international arena.International Chinese language education bears the dual responsibility of spreading the Chinese language and promoting the Chinese culture.How to shape global narratives for telling China’s stories and improve China’s international communication capabilities has become an important issue that concerns international Chinese language education.Chinese idioms,which are hidden treasures of the Chinese language,can play a unique role in this regard.It is therefore necessary to review the content and methods of including idioms in international Chinese language education.In this paper,instruction in idioms is approached by making a corpus-based comparative analysis from the theoretical perspectives of equivalence,cognitive metaphor,and second language acquisition.Qualitative and quantitative methods are combined to analyze idioms to be added to the vocabulary of international Chinese language education in three dimensions:word frequency,semantic transparency,and functional equivalence.This paper aims to explore a new approach to the dissemination of Chinese culture through instruction in idioms in international Chinese language education.

A Study of International Chinese Language Teachers’Stereotypes of International Students

Teachers’stereotypes of students affect teaching behaviour.Correctly perceiving stereotypes of international students helps teachers to understand the student population more deeply and adopt effective teaching behaviour.This study focuses on the stereotypes of international Chinese language teachers towards international students in Chinese universities and its impact on teachers’classroom management and students’classroom performance.Summarizing the findings,we conclude that international Chinese language teachers have both positive and negative stereotypes of the international student body,and that negative stereotypes account for more than positive stereotypes.On this basis,this study further discusses the importance of international Chinese language teachers being aware of the existence of stereotypes of international students,and makes suggestions to strengthen the positive influences and weaken the negative ones.

Survey and Analysis of Chinese Learning Needs of International Students-A Case Study of International Students Majoring in MBA and MPA in a College of The Belt and Road

This study investigated the Chinese learning motivation,learning goals and learning strategies of 26 international students majoring in MBA and MPA at a university with The belt and road college,mainly by questionnaire and interview method,supplemented by classroom observation method.The survey found that 20 of the 24 international students were zero-start Chinese learners,and their learning motivation was mainly"instrumental"and"intrinsic",and they had high enthusiasm for Chinese language and Chinese culture.They have a high enthusiasm for Chinese language and culture,and will actively solve the difficulties they encounter in learning Chinese.At the same time,this study conducted a questionnaire survey on the needs of international students in terms of curriculum and content,teaching materials,teaching assessment and extracurricular activities,combined with the results of individual and group interviews and classroom observations,to summarize the real needs of international students in various aspects of Chinese language learning,so as to provide teaching reference for teachers teaching international students,and to provide a reference for colleges and universities to develop Chinese teaching programs.The survey will provide a basis for the colleges and universities to formulate Chinese teaching programs and coordinate teaching activities,so as to help international students learn Chinese better.

Study on Paths of Affect Factors on Adaption to University Life of Chinese International Students in Korea —Choosing Korean Training Chinese Students as Main Investigation Objects

The purpose of this paper is to study effect factors of adaptation to university life of Chinese International Students in Korea. 374 Korean language trainees are chosen as investigation objects by means of random cluster sampling. Questionnaire data are collected by using the survey form and then paths of effect factors on adaption to university life of Korean training Chinese students in Korea are analyzed. The results indicate that Korean language proficiency, physical symptoms, loneliness, self-efficacy, acculturation stress are direct effect factors on Chinese students adapting to university life in Korea. Besides, Korean language proficiency, physical symptoms, loneliness are not only direct effect factors on self-efficacy and acculturation stress but also indirect effect factors on Chinese students adapting to university life in Korea. In order to improve ability of Korean training Chinese students adapting to university life in Korea, Korean language proficiency and self-efficacy should be improved. And, some effective interventions should be given to reducing physical symptoms, loneliness and acculturation stress.

Raise the international status of Journal of Chinese Pharmaceutical Sciences under “the International Influence of Chinese Science and Technology Journals Promotion Plan”

Journal of Chinese Pharmaceutical Sciences（JCPS） has been published for 22 years. During this period, JCPS has progressed from a quarterly journal to monthly publication. Moreover, the qualities of manuscripts and editing are improving, and its influence and international status reaches a high level. Under ＂the International Influence of Chinese Science and Technology Journals Promotion Plan＂, the development and internationalization of JCPS will be further promoted.

国际中文教育的使命及其他

文章首先强调要明确认识国际中文教育的使命是为世界各国培养他们所需要的高素质的中文人才;其次表示国际中文教育的使命决定必须抓好汉语书面语教学,并充分陈述了理由;最后指出要开展好汉语书面语教学,目前亟须马上组织力量积极开展“进行汉语书面语教学”的具体研究。

从句式视角谈汉语书面语教学

文章首先就语体而言对“汉语书面语”作了扼要说明:其次从三方面阐述了观点:一是对汉语句式作了分类说明,并指出汉语书面语教学主要需关注和抓好两类句式的教学:一类是口语和书面语通用句式,另一类是书面语句式中的“正式语体”句式;二是以实例说明从“句式”视角开展汉语书面语教学所需研究的种种问题;三是如何从句式视角进行汉语书面语教学,提出两点具体建议。

论“人群特征”对国际中文教育的学科支撑

国际中文教育中的“国际”,其实质内涵是“国际人群”,分为海外华人和非华人两大异质性群体。国际中文教育的发展,必然要立足于对其“人群特征”尽可能细致的分析性认识。海外华人是国际中文教育的核心人群,非华人则是潜在的主体人群,面向这两大人群的中文教育分别对应“中文祖语传承”和“中文二语传播”。鉴于新老华人社会祖语保持的现状,“中文祖语传承”的对象人群可细分为“有较好家庭语言环境”“有一定家庭语言环境”“没有或基本没有家庭语言环境”3类,并据此设计不同的核心课程、教材、教法。根据母语文情况,可对“中文二语传播”的对象人群再分类,按文字划分为“汉字文化圈”和“非汉字文化圈”,后者按与中国的地理关系再分为“周边”与“非周边”。根据中文与其他国家语言文字的远近亲疏展开理论探究和教学实践,才能校正与印欧语对比的中文本体观。对象人群的步步细化,相应研究的步步深化,正是国际中文教育的发展之路。进一步丰富对象人群的下位构成,才能实现学术和社会资源上更加合理的分工、配置,以达到精准服务的目的。

国际中文教育标准建设的述评与展望

国际中文教育标准建设是促进国际中文教育高质量发展,推动中华文化走向世界的强大动能。通过回顾国际中文教育标准的发展历程可见,国际中文教育的标准建设经历了初创布局、创新巩固和跨越升级3个发展阶段,并形成了具有规范化、国际化、专业化、纵深化的建设特点。然而在发展的过程中,还存在体系建设亟待完善,服务力亟待提升,国际化仍需加强的问题。因此,未来应把握好国际中文教育标准建设的整体性,强化国际中文教育标准建设的政策供给能力,提升国际中文教育标准研究的服务能力,提高国际中文教育标准的国际影响力,增强国际中文教育标准化发展的理论探索,助力国际中文教育高质量发展。

《国际中文教育中文水平等级标准》与海外中文课程大纲的耦合与互动

《国际中文教育中文水平等级标准》为全球中文教育提供了重要的顶层参考框架。探讨该标准融入海外各国中文课程大纲的路径,促进其教学落地具有重要意义。通过对自建“国际中文教育标准数据库”中34国150份中文课程大纲的研究发现,该等级标准同海外课纲在多种维度上存在耦合接口以及互动可能性。为实现《国际中文教育中文水平等级标准》在海外中文课程大纲中的应用和对接,在教学目标上应将分级量化指标同所在国学段年级合理配置;教学内容上应以主题功能主导,语言要素关联;教学评价上应促进分析型评量指标同融合型指标互动互鉴;在语言认知上应保留中文特性,促进中外语言学知识体系互动。

国际中文教育教学模式的工程化设计

国际中文教育教学模式的实践创新与理论提升对于本领域的事业发展、学术积累一直起着积极的引导作用。本文从工程化视角出发,首先对国际中文教育教学模式层级性特点进行分析,然后解析、重构面向课程和面向课堂的两种教学模式,之后对其构件、组织模块进行集成性归纳,最后提取出教学模式中“规划”“实施”“保障”三个模块的逻辑关系、组织架构以及其中的空间结构、时间结构。本文的结论可为未来新的教学模式的设计与实施提供一定的参考。

电化教育、在线教育和智能教育:国际语言传播机构的数字化转型

国际中文教师职前教育的工程化设计

工程化是国际中文教师职前教育发展的新思维。用工程思维来审视,当前国际中文教师职前教育的目标、内容、课程、过程、评价等各个要素都存在一些问题,比如教育目标相对比较宽泛,设置的中文学科内容较多,教学实习等实践类课程较少,不同课程主要是按照理论先导的逻辑进行排序,教育过程主要采用“传递—接受”式,教育评价主要是对学生应掌握的知识进行纸笔测试,等等。与此同时,采用工程化的原理、思维和方法则可以为解决这些问题提供一种思路,比如力求实现教育目标的明确化、内容的模块化和集成化、课堂教学的情境化和实践化、评价的多维化等。

新时代国际中文教育文化教学转向及实现路径研究

国际中文教育文化教学分为四个时期:对外汉语教学起步时期(1950—1977年),对外汉语教学蓬勃发展时期(1978—2003年),汉语国际教育高速发展时期(2004—2018年),国际中文教育高质量发展时期(2019年至今)。通过对四个时期国际中文教育文化教学特征的归纳分析,结合新时代我国加强中华文化国际传播的要求,提出了国际中文教育文化教学转向的观点。国际中文教育文化教学转向的实现路径是:助力中国形象的自我塑造,促进中华文化的多元化传播,深化中华文化价值观的传播。

国际中文教育助力教育强国建设的相关思考

教育强国建设是当下中国的国家战略,国际中文教育既是整体教育的重要构成,又是助力教育强国建设的重要方面。国际中文教育之所以能提供助力,是因为它能增强国际交流与合作,提升教育国际化水平,增强国际影响力,培养国际化人才,构建全球化教育体系,参与全球教育治理。而历史事实和国际经验也提供了助力的重要依据。目前来看,国际中文教育助力教育强国建设需要在以下几个方面着力:进一步增强国际交流与合作,助力教育对外开放;讲好“三个故事”,助力中华优秀语言文化国际传播;创新国际人才教育模式,助力人才培养和双一流高校建设;发展国际中文教育数字化,助力教育数智化;完善国际中文教育规范标准体系,助力标准建设;构建国际中文教育三大体系,助力教育三大体系建设;建立全球中文教育网络系统,助力全球教育治理。
