Firstly, another expression of interval numbers is given. Then, some basic definitions on consistency and weak transitivity of real and interval fuzzy preference relations are described. Based on these definitions, a two-phase process for determining the priorities from interval fuzzy preference relations is presented. These data are obtained from the de-excitation process of electrons in metals. The present paper aims to develop the Kuhn-Tucker and Fritz John criteria for saddle point optimality of interval-valued nonlinear programming problem.To achieve the study objective,we have proposed the definition of minimizer and maximizer of an interval-valued non-linear programming problem.Also,we have introduced the interval-valued Fritz-John and Kuhn Tucker saddle point problems.After that,we have established both the necessary and sufficient optimality conditions of an interval-valued non-linear minimization problem.Next,we have shown that both the saddle point conditions(Fritz-John and Kuhn-Tucker)are sufficient without any convexity requirements.Then with the convexity requirements,we have established that these saddle point optimality criteria are the necessary conditions for optimality of an interval-valued non-linear programming with real-valued constraints.Here,all the results are derived with the help of interval order relations.Finally,we illustrate all the results with the help of a numerical example. 展开更多

Furthermore, the grey interval relative degree and deviation degree is defined, and both the optimistic algorithm of the grey interval relational degree and the algorithm of deviation degree minimization for solving this new model are also given. Finally, a decision making example to demonstrate the feasibility and rationality of this new method is given, and the results by using these two algorithms are uniform. 展开更多

We first give an index to measure the similarity degree of two interval fuzzy preference relations, and utilize the similarity index to check the consistency degree of group opinion. Furthermore, we use the error-propagation principle to determine the priority vector of the aggregated matrix, and then develop an approach to group decision making based on interval fuzzy preference relations. This article introduces a consistency index for measuring the consistency level of an interval fuzzy preference relation(IFPR).An approach is then proposed to construct an additive consistent IFPR from a given inconsistent IFPR.By using a weighted averaging method combining the original IFPR and the constructed consistent IFPR,a formula is put forward to repair an inconsistent IFPR to generate an IFPR with acceptable consistency.An iterative algorithm is subsequently developed to rectify an inconsistent IFPR and derive one with acceptable consistency and weak transitivity.The proposed approaches can not only improve consistency of IFPRs but also preserve the initial interval uncertainty information as much as possible.Numerical examples are presented to illustrate how to apply the proposed approaches. 展开更多
