The role of grammar in language teaching has always been the question that researchers debate.In recent years,grammar knowledge has been distinguished in the foreign language acquisition research,namely the implicit knowledge and the explicit knowledge(Dai Manchun 2005;Gu Qiyi 2005).As to the reaserch of implicit and explicit grammar knowledge as well as their measurement,it is easy to find that many scholars have studied the role of two different kinds of grammar knowledge in second language development.But the research on the role of implicit and explicit grammar knowledge in second language reading comprehension is too few,not to mention the research on the role of implicit and explicit grammar knowledge in English reading comprehension in the senior high school.The purpose of this study is to find the relationship between implicit and explicit grammatical knowledge and English reading comprehension ability of senior high school students.In addition,since the vocabulary is important to reading comprehension,this factor will also be considered in the study. 展开更多

To detect high frequency (HF) first-order sea echo spectra contaminated with ships, ionosphere interference, and other, a new characteristic-knowledge-aided detection method is proposed. With 2-D image features in range-Doppler spectrum, the trend of first-order sea echoes is extracted as indicative information by a multi-scale filter. Detection rules for both single and splitting first-order sea echoes are given based on the characteristic knowledge combining the indicative information with the global characteristics such as amplitude, symmetry, continuity, etc. Compared with the classical algorithms, the proposed method can detect and locate the first-order sea echo in the HF band more accurately especially in the environment with targets/clutters smearing. Experiments with real data verify the validity of the algorithm. 展开更多

This research develops a knowledge model for Software Process Improvement (SPI) project based on knowledge creation theory and its twenty-four measurement items, and proposes two hypothesizes about the interaction of explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge in SPI. Eleven factors are extracted through statistical analysis. Three knowledge-creation practices for capturing tacit knowledge contribute greatly to SPI, which are communication among members, crossover collaboration in practical work and pair programming. Two knowledge-creation practices for capturing explicit knowledge have significant positive impact on SPI, which are integrating project document and on-the-job training. Ultimately, suggestions for improvement are put forward, that is, encouraging communication among staff and integrating documents in real time, and future research is also illustrated. 展开更多

In the knowledge management domain, the conversion of tacit knowledge to explicit knowledge is critical because it is a prerequisite to the knowledge amplification process wherein knowledge becomes part of an organization's knowledge network. Although codified knowledge and its capture is commonplace, tacit knowledge has up until recent years proved elusive in its inclusion within the organization's knowledge base. In this paper, the conversion process has been dealt with the help of protocols. It is learned that while structure may significantly improve the tacit to explicit conversion process, it also may matter how the structure is employed. It is anticipated that eventual successful modeling of such knowledge will ultimately be undertaken in several organizations with a view to improving information capture and transference. 展开更多

This review discusses Nezakat-Alhossaini, Youhanaee, and Moinzadeh's research study entitled "Impact of Explicit Instruction on EFL Learners' Implicit and Explicit Knowledge: A Case of English Relative Clauses." This study was chosen for evaluation because it strives to attach significance to explicit instruction in L2 acquisition, unlike other more recent research, which seeks to reinforce implicit instruction as it is viewed as the idealistic goal of language learning (Rebuschat & William, 2009). The present review will be developed by means of an evaluation of Alhossaini and her colleagues' study, consisting of a concise summary of the study, a classification of the philosophical perspective, the selection of criteria, and the strengths and weaknesses of the study. In this review, I hope that I succeed to broadly navigate the research enterprise, commencing with the philosophical perspective of research, such as the epistemological and ontological stances shaping the philosophical perspective and then colouring the research. By reviewing this study, I would also hope that I successfully evaluate the research quality by using appropriate criteria in an attempt to suggest potential directions for further research (under strengths and weaknesses of the study). 展开更多

This is an important issue facing organizations undertaking knowledge management initiatives. An XML-based and ontology-supported knowledge description language (KDL) is presented, which has three-tier structure (core KDL, extended KDL and complex KDL), and takes advantages of strong point of ontology, XML, description logics, frame-based systems. And then, the framework and XML based syntax of KDL are introduced, and the methods of translating KDL into first order logic (FOL) are presented. At last, the implementation of KDL on the Web is described, and the reasoning ability of KDL proved by experiment is illustrated in detail. 展开更多

And a sufficient and necessary condition of order property in the Szmidt-Kacprzyk axioms is discussed. Additionally, some numerical examples are given to illustrate the applications of the proposed knowledge measure and some conventional entropies and knowledge measures of IFSs. The experimental results show that the results of the parametric model proposed in this paper are more accurate than those of most of the classic models. 展开更多

Set at the interface between second language acquisition and second language writing,this study examines how different types of written corrective feedback(WCF)influence the writing accuracy of Chinese college students learning English as a Foreign Language(EFL)and whether WCF facilitates the students’grasp of the focused linguistic knowledge.The participants(n=60)were divided into direct correction group(n=20),indirect error-coding group(n=20)and metalinguistic explanation group(n=20).The three groups wrote four essays in two months and received WCF for the first three essays on the five targeted error types,namely tense errors,confusion of different forms of a word,word(articles,prepositions,etc.)missing,errors in subjectverb agreement and inappropriate verb-noun collocations.The results show that all three types of WCF improved students’writing accuracy but none of them had any statistical advantage,and the metalinguistic WCF was more effective than the other two forms in facilitating the acquisition of the targeted linguistic features.These results shed some light on teaching and consolidation of language points through writing in EFL contexts. 展开更多

This paper constructs a model on the factors that influence knowledge transfer in mergers and acquisitions(M&A) and validates it via questionnaire surveys. Using 125valid collected questionnaires, multiple linear regression analysis and hierarchical regression analysis showed that five out of the ten factors had a positive effect on knowledge transfer effect. The ranking of factor importance, from high to low, was knowledge explicitness, relationship quality, learning intent, advanced transfer activities, and learning capability, which is fairly consistent with positive factors observed in other interorganizational knowledge transfer researches. Our results also showed that one of the control variables(size of acquired firm) had neither a direct or indirect effect on knowledge transfer in M&A. Additionally, our research found that knowledge distance and degree of M&A integration had a positive influence on knowledge transfer effect at the early stage after M&A, but had a negative influence at the late stage. Based on this research, several suggestions for knowledge transfer in M&A are proposed. 展开更多

Empirical evidence of the effects of global value chain( GVC) embeddedness on clustered firms' innovation is presented in this paper. The intermediary roles of the two types of knowledge spillover( explicit and implicit) in GVC embeddedness and clustered firms' innovation are considered, and the effects of structure embeddedness,relationship embeddedness,and acknowledgement embeddedness on clustered firms' innovation are examined. Analysis is based on the sample of 134 export-oriented firms from the Shaoxing industrial cluster in Zhejiang province of China. Results show that although GVC embeddedness is associated with high use of external knowledge sources,clustered firms' innovation is promoted indirectly through explicit knowledge spillover. Intrinsic connections exist among the different dimensions of GVC embeddedness,that is,structure embeddedness not only directly improves relationship embeddedness but also indirectly improves acknowledgement embeddedness through relationship embeddedness. 展开更多

In recent years, there have been emergent interests in L2 learners' implicit lexical knowledge. Researchers employed psycholinguistic methods to investigate the online processing of formulaic sequences in L2 (idioms and collocations) and find evidence for holistic processing of the target linguistic sequences. This paper reviews and comments on lexical bundles and related concepts, trying to make clear this well focused research area in second language acquisition (SLA). Literature is reviewed and criticized on frequency effect in L2 learning, formulaic sequences, and implicit/explicit knowledge/learning, including their theoretical basis, methodology, and conclusion. In this paper, the author argues that sufficient practice, either receptive or productive, can turn explicit knowledge implicit, making it automatically accessed and retrieved. 当前大多数基于图卷积网络的方面级情感分析方法利用文本的句法知识、语义知识、情感知识构建文本依赖,但少有研究利用文本语序知识构建文本依赖,导致图卷积网络不能有效地利用文本语序知识引导方面项学习上下文情感信息,从而限制了其... 当前大多数基于图卷积网络的方面级情感分析方法利用文本的句法知识、语义知识、情感知识构建文本依赖,但少有研究利用文本语序知识构建文本依赖,导致图卷积网络不能有效地利用文本语序知识引导方面项学习上下文情感信息,从而限制了其性能。针对上述问题,提出基于语序知识的双通道图卷积网络(dual-channel graph convolutional network with word-order knowledge,WKDGCN)模型,该模型由语序图卷积网络(word-order graph convolutional network,WoGCN)和情感知识结合语义知识增强的句法图卷积网络(sentiment and attention-enhanced graph convolutional network,SAGCN)组成。具体地,WoGCN基于文本的语序知识构建图卷积网络,由文本的语序依赖引导方面项特征学习上下文情感信息;SAGCN利用SenticNet中的情感知识结合注意力机制增强句法依赖,利用增强后的句法依赖构建图卷积网络,以此引导方面项特征学习上下文情感信息;最后融合两个图卷积网络的特征用于情感分类。此外,设计了一种权重分配策略,在放大方面项权重的同时保持上下文权重一致,避免错误的计算方面项特征与重要特征的语义相关性。在多个公开数据集上的实验结果表明,所提方法优于对比模型。 展开更多
