Universities shoulder the important mission of talent cultivation,scientific research,social service,cultural heritage and innovation,and international exchange and cooperation.International exchange and cooperation have become the fifth major function of universities.Based on the background of the globalization era,undergraduate colleges and universities should pay more attention to the cultivation of students’intercultural communication and understanding ability while cultivating their professional skills,and take expanding students’international vision and enhancing the international competitiveness of China’s education as important tasks.Labor education is an important content of the national education system,which has the comprehensive nurturing value of cultivating morality,increasing intelligence,strengthening physical fitness,and cultivating beauty.Higher education institutions should further optimize the system of labor education,expand students’space and field of thinking in the process of labor education,and broaden students’international perspectives.

Research on the Existing Challenges and Countermeasures in E-business Education among Universities'Upgraded Talents from Colleges:A Case Study of Beijing Union University

At present,there are indeed many problems in the training of upgraded talents among e-business students such as unclear training objectives and characteristics,as well as the lack of classified guidance and its corresponding mechanism.Therefore,there is a need for optimization and upgrading of faculties in which active research should be conducted on these issues.Through various measures to counter the challenges faced in the training of upgraded talents in e-business education based on the student-oriented ideology and advantages of universities,the environment needs to be constantly optimized while improving their levels,designing effective countermeasures,and having finn ideological beliefs.This article strives to educate senior e-business innovative talents in line with the needs of enterprises,continuously promote the integration of industry and education,as well as commit to contributing toward a comprehensive and healthy development of the e-business industry as well as social progress.

Research on Practical Pathways of Strengthening Labor Education for College and University Students in the New Era

Labor education is an essential component of college and university education that can help students to develop a strong work ethic,acquire practical skills,and better understand the value of work.Strengthening labor education for college and university students is an urgent need of the high-quality development of the society and the internal requirement of promoting the all-round development of individuals.This study analyzes the importance of strengthening labor education for college and university students in the new era and proposes four practical pathways which draw on labor courses and campus activities,social practices,scientific research projects,and internships.After implementing these pathways,a survey of 967 students showed that students’understanding and awareness of labor was deepened,their hands-on skills and interests in science and labor practices were improved,and they became more cordially respectful to the working class.Taken together,the exploration and practice of these pathways helps college and university students to recognize their abilities,strengths,and interests,and guides them to form good labor habits that permeate all aspects of their studies and lives.

Acquisition of Knowledge and Skills about Delivery by Self-Evaluation of Midwifery Students Using the Labor and Delivery Assistance Evaluation Sheets

Aim: This study aims to clarify the current state of advancement of knowledge and skills in the educational process from self-assessments by midwifery student labor and delivery assistance evaluation sheets. Method: Metrology is an observational and retrospective study. Self-assessments in labor and delivery assistance evaluation sheets of midwifery students registered in an advanced midwifery course at Nursing College A from Apr. 2017 to Mar. 2018 were analyzed retrospectively. The end-points were every score of six classifications: health checkups and assessments of women who give birth, preparations for labor and delivery assistance, delivery assistance in the parturient second stage, delivery assistance in the parturient third and fourth stages, midwifery process, and the training manner. Moreover, they also included the scores of 64 evaluation items belonging to any of the six classifications and a comprehensive evaluation score in which students judged the acquisition of all knowledge and skills of delivery assistance. In addition, although not on the evaluation sheet, the average score of all 64 evaluation items was also included. The evaluation criteria were five levels, from one to five. The end-points were examined by comparing the experiences of delivery assistances in two periods of Results: 80 among 91 evaluation sheets from eight out of nine students were analyzed. The average score of all 64 evaluation items, every score of the six classifications, and the comprehensive evaluation score was significantly elevated in the experience periods of 6 ≤ times (P Conclusion: Training in adaptation and enforcement of amniotomy and assistance skills for lacerations sutures will be needed in future educational challenges. Self-assessment scores by midwifery students in labor and delivery assistance evaluation sheets were significantly elevated in the experience periods of 6 ≤ times.

The Emergence of Modern Physics Research in China:The Yenching Department of Physics and the Rockefeller Foundation

Based on archival materials discovered in America,Britain,and China,this paper carefully examines the history of the short-lived and completely overlooked Department of Physics in the Premedical School of Peking Union Medical College(PUMC),and uncovers this department’s extensive interconnections with its counterpart at Yenching University.This project also looks into the Master of Science(MS)program in the Department of Physics at Yenching University,which,founded in 1927,was the first graduate program in physics in China.It was this MS program that transformed the Yenching Department from a largely premedical training center serving the PUMC into a prominent cradle of Chinese physics research.This Yenching Department,despite its small faculty and brief existence,nurtured many eminent Chinese physicists,such as Chao-Ying Meng孟昭英,Wen-Yu Chang张文裕,Ming-Chen Wang王明贞,Chia-Liu Luke Yuan袁家骝,Cheng-Shu Wang(Chang)王承书,Ho-Fu Lu卢鹤绂,Ting-Sui Ke葛庭燧,Kun Huang黄昆,and Chia-Lin Hsieh谢家麟.It would have been impossible to achieve these outstanding accomplishments without the effective leadership and pioneering work of C.H.Corbett,P.A.Anderson,Y.M.Hsieh,and W.Band—the first four Department Chairs—in combination with relatively abundant private funding,mostly from America,and extensive educational connections with Western institutions.This paper not only introduces in detail these four department heads and their contributions,but also discloses the unique role played by the Rockefeller Foundation via the China Medical Board and the PUMC in the development of the Yenching Department of Physics.

新时代高校劳动教育的定位及实施路径

党的十八大以来,新时代劳动教育的格局逐步形成且地位日益凸显,成为当代高校进行人才培养的核心课题。在新时代背景下,高校劳动教育的目标定位是在树立正确劳动价值观的基础上培养“高尚品格的人”、“时代发展中的人”与“全面发展的人”。因此,为了顺利推进劳动教育实践,应基于多维关系与视角综合施策,重点从推动主体间合作互补、建立“科学、综合、开放”的课程体系、确立专业支撑与条件保障、推进产学研融合等四个层面建立多维融合的新时代高校劳动教育体系,培养符合时代发展需求的高层次人才。

新时代如何在大学生中有效培育劳动精神

新时代大学生只有树立正确的劳动价值观,具备必要的劳动能力,养成良好的劳动习惯,才能满足个人成长和社会发展的需要。对于高校来说,培育大学生的劳动精神是劳动教育的核心。目前,在实践层面,劳动教育受到前所未有的重视;在认识层面,形成了劳动教育核心素养的共识;在研究层面,研究者开展了有关劳动教育的大量研究,相关成果不计其数。但高校在开展劳动教育的过程中还存在以下问题:五育并举的劳动教育体系还未真正建立,高校、家庭和社会还未形成有效培育劳动精神的合力,高校内部未形成有效培育劳动精神的协调机制,劳动教育课程缺乏劳动精神培育的聚焦点,大学生劳动精神的培育缺乏关键抓手。为在大学生中有效培育劳动精神,需要从理念更新、资源整合、教材优化、路径选择等方面加以改进。

中国式高校劳动教育新道路探究

坚持走中国式高校劳动教育的新道路,一要明确劳动教育的价值导向,坚持从劳动教育的需求价值、生活价值、时代价值出发,找准发力点;二要构建劳动教育课程体系,打造劳动教育主体课程群,加强劳动教育与思政课程、专业课程和职业课程的联动;三要开发劳动教育实践资源,挖掘校园劳动实践资源、加强与社会力量的合作、充分利用网络技术资源,构建“三全育人”的大格局;四要完善劳动教育保障机制,加强劳动教育管理机制、师资队伍保障机制、劳动教育评价机制,建设全面构建体现时代特征的劳动教育体系。

以“亦耕亦读”为核心理念的耕读教育,不仅作为涉农高校加强劳动教育的一种重要途径,更重要的是将中华优秀传统文化耕读与传家传承下去,具有全面的育人功能,如修德、长智、强体和塑美等。结合涉农高校开展耕读教育的现状归纳分析问题,从思想认识、顶层设计、课程建设、师资和机制建设方面提出意见建议。提出构建“543”耕读教育模式,即抓住劳动养成的“五个环节”,实施“四维一体”动态调整方略,利用“三全育人”服务保障,提升耕读教育实效,厚植涉农学子“三农”情怀。

党中央、国务院高度重视劳动教育。通过调研4所高校劳动教育实施情况发现,高校对劳动教育重视不够,系统性不强;劳动教育课程内容空泛,时代性略显不足;劳动教育资源开发不力,实效性欠佳;劳动教育校园氛围不浓,文化性不突出。高校要积极构建包括统筹协同机制、评价机制、课程建设体系、实践体系等在内的劳动教育实施体系,为学生德智体美劳全面发展提供全面支撑。

新时代高校劳动教育与思政教育融合发展探析

劳动教育与思政教育是新时代高校落实立德树人根本任务的有力抓手。因二者在培养目标、内容、途径等方面存在着深层次的内在逻辑联系,所以越来越多的高校认识到劳动教育与思政教育融合发展的必要性,并逐步开展了双育融合育人工作。然而,不少高校因受双育融合发展理念偏颇、专业师资不足、机制构建虚化、平台建设滞后等因素制约,还存在着对双育融合发展重视不够、融合程度不深入、融合方式较简单等问题。对此,高校应通过加大宣传力度、优化师资队伍、构建多元机制、加快平台建设等对策来提升双育融合发展成效。
