Taking Rudong County of Jiangsu Province for an example, the land transfer performance of family farms was evalu- ated using the first hand data from field investigation by building an index system for comprehensive performance evaluation of family farm land transfer covering three dimensions of economy, society and ecology. The results show that land transfer in family farm mode has realized the scale management of land, enhanced the agri- cultural level of science and technology, effectively promoted the structural adjust- ment of agriculture and income increase of farmers, advanced the development of eco-agriculture, and achieved good economic and social performances. However, in the development process of family farms, inputs of agro-chemicals, fertilizers and other agro-products have brought about the eco-environmental problems, which are still worth noting.展开更多

Using survey data on rural households in the Sichuan Province, and applying the theoretical framework of new economics of labor migration, this study explores the influences of labor migration on the direction and scale of land transfer from the perspective of rural household structure. The results indicate that: 1) the quantity of laborers has significant influence on the direction and scale of land transfer. The larger the on-farm labor variable(Labor), the lesser the possibility that land will be rented-out and the amount of land rented out will also be smaller. In addition, there is a greater probability that land will be rented-in and the amount of land rented-in will be greater. 2) The greater the ratio of off-farm laborers to rural household laborers(Off-farm) the greater the possibility that land will be rented-out. In addition the higher the ratio of on-farm laborers to the total household laborers(On-farm), the larger the possibility that land will be rented-in. Meanwhile, if the household has individuals at the age of 64 or older(Old) who are engaged in agriculture, there is a smaller possibility that land will be rentedout. 3) the ratio of part-time laborers to rural household laborers(Pluriactivity) have significant inverse U-shaped influences on the rent-in of land as well as the amount of land rented-in. The inflection points are 33.27% and 14.10%, respectively. Such findings confirm the significance of this study in better understanding the influence of labor migration on rural household land transfer.展开更多

Therefore, it is urgent to put forward some rational and feasible suggestions for local government to manage the market of land transfer. Moreover, it is important in the field of study on agricultural land use change to analyze the spatial differentiation and structural specification of land transfer, which are caused by rural households' behavior. This paper selected I l factors covering four aspects of rural households' family structure, family location, family income structure and the natural quality of land resources, all of which influence the behavior differentiation of rural households, to establish the index model indicating spatial differentiation of land transfer. Results show that the spatial differentiation of land transfer can be divided into four degrees and three categories through analyzing rural households' questionnaires from Shanghai, Nanjing and Taizhou in the Changjiang (Yangtze) River Delta. Since up to 80% of rural households belong to middle degrees, it can be concluded that the rural land market develops evenly in the study areas. And it is also indicated that the natural quality of land resources and the maximum income of rural land are most important factors influencing the spatial differentiation of land transaction. Considering different factors, the countermeasures can be carried out to enhance the spatial differentiation of land transfer so as to promote economic development and social security of rural China. All in all, both micro- factors and macro-factors influencing rural households' behavior of rural land transfer should be taken into account in order to make spatial differentiation and structural specification of rural land transfer notable.展开更多

The results showed that seen from the spatial and temporal distribution, the seasonal variation of PHC content in the surface water of Jiaozhou Bay was based on the flow of the rivers as well as human activity,so PHC content in the rivers depended on the flow of the rivers and human activity, and the peaks and valleys of PHC content appeared in various seasons. The seasonal variation of PHC content in the surface water of Jiaozhou Bay depended on its land transfer process. The land transfer process was composed of use of PHC by mankind, deposition of PHC in soil and on the earth's surface, and transportation of PHC to offshore waters of sea by rivers and surface runoff. PHC content depended on mankind during the process from being used to entering soil and on precipitation during the process of being transported from soil to ocean.展开更多

In this study, the reform of relevant legal systems to China's rural land transfer was introduced firstly, and then the guiding ideology of China's rural land transfer was proposed. Finally, the ways of practicing rural land transfer in China were discussed. Based on the premise of insisting on and improving the strictest land preservation system, farmers should have the right to occupy, use, and transfer their contracted land, and they can transfer their land contracting and management right in ways of exchange, subcontracting, renting, stock cooperation, and trust. Exploring the ways of equal exchange of land elements according to local conditions is an important political and economic issue concerning the livelihood and development of farmers in China,so it should be conducted under the guidance of the correct ideas to integrate scattered land in China's rural areas, develop moderate-scale management, shorten the income gap between urban and rural areas, and realize balancing development of urban and rural areas in China.展开更多

文摘The policy of land transfer has greatly influenced the macro economy of China with the commencement of another innovation of land use system. Considering different factors, the countermeasures can be carried out to enhance the spatial differentiation of land transfer so as to promote economic development and social security of rural China. All in all, both micro- factors and macro-factors influencing rural households' behavior of rural land transfer should be taken into account in order to make spatial differentiation and structural specification of rural land transfer notable.

文摘Cropland system is the key to the problems of agriculture, rural areas and farmers, and its reform affects the process of rural revitalization to a great extent. This paper studies the measures and experiences of cropland system reform in Japan,South Korea and Chinese Taiwan. The results show that it is a common practice for the reform of cropland system in various countries(regions)to formulate strict laws and regulations, promote cropland transfer through government subsidies, guide cropland transfer in various forms, gradually relax restrictions on cropland transfer, and give full play to the role of intermediary organizations.Based on the above conclusions, this paper puts forward some suggestions for the reform of cropland system in China.
文摘There is an urgent need for China's rural land transfer in order to develop modern agriculture, ensure food security, transfer rural population, and accelerate industrialization and urbanization. At present, there is still disordered transfer of rural land in China, making the interests of the transferors and transferees difficult to be effectively guaranteed;there is inefficient transfer, leading to decline in actual agricultural production level after transfer;there is jobless transfer, leading to difficult placement for rural surplus labor after transfer, seriously restricting rural land transfer. Therefore, the Chinese government's legal responsibility, economic responsibility and social responsibility in rural land transfer should be further strengthened.

文摘Based on the household survey of nine villages in Guangdong Province and Hunan Province,we research the relationship between landless farmers and land adjustment, land transfer in the context of rural land contract rights on a long term basis. We demonstrate that the existence of landless farmers does not pose a serious problem for the current rural community. We also explain the reason why the land is no longer readjusted:the expected return of land adjustment is low and the organizational costs are high.
文摘Through the method of literature analysis, this paper analyzes the present situation of the"non-grain conversion"of cultivated land in the transfer of agricultural land in China, summarizes the influencing factors and consequences of the phenomenon of"non-grain conversion"of cultivated land in the transfer of agricultural land, and finally puts forward some measures. The study found that costs and benefits are the fundamental factors affecting the"non-grain conversion"of cultivated land in agricultural land transfer, and other main factors include government and policy guidance, industrial and commercial capital to the countryside, labor transfer and so on.The"non-grain conversion"of cultivated land in the transfer of agricultural land is a serious threat to China s food security, leading to the decline of the quality of agricultural land and the destruction of the ecological environment,as well as the risk of breach of contract in"industrial and commercial capital to the countryside".Based on the understanding of the influencing factors of non-grain conversion, this paper puts forward the following measures:strengthening the control of the use of cultivated land in agricultural land transfer;implementing accurate subsidies for grain cultivation and ensuring the benefit of grain growers;adopting grain planting incentive mechanism to increase grain enthusiasm;strengthening media publicity and education to enhance food security awareness. The improvement of the current situation of the"non-grain conversion"of cultivated land in the transfer of agricultural land will be of great significance to the protection of agricultural land and food security in China.

文摘This paper explores the impact of agricultural machinery input on rural households’land transfers, which is conducive to the acceleration of agricultural modernization, agricultural production at scale, and rural revitalization.By using the micro-data on rural households(2014–2018)from China Family Panel Studies(CFPS),we made an empirical analysis of the impact of agricultural machinery input on land transfers and drew three conclusions.First, agricultural machinery input has a positive impact on land transfers, which means the more rural households invest in agricultural machinery, the more willing they are to participate in land transfers.Second, the impact of agricultural machinery input on land transfers is mainly exerted by adjusting the allocation of labor resources for rural households,or rather by increasing the number of farmers engaged in agriculture and reducing the number of farmers-turned traders and workers to facilitate land transfers.Third, the impact of agricultural machinery input on land transfers concerns both the positive transfers-in and the negative transfers-out,and such an impact stays stable across income groups.Accordingly,we should further increase agricultural machinery-related subsidies, improve the agricultural machinery service outsourcing market, and help rural households to reasonably allocate their labor resource endowments and invest in agricultural machinery to increase land transfers.
文摘The ecological effects of land transfer are mainly around the ecological effects of land itself. One is environmental and ecological effects of land, such as flood controlling, preventing soil erosion, preventing the collapse debris, water conservation and maintenance of biodiversity and conservation of wildlife. Second, it is crop residue use of land, including: treatment of organic waste, decomposing and eliminating contaminants, regulating microclimate and air purification, maintaining and revitalizing rural communities. Third, the geographical landscape effects of land, such as providing idyllic pastures and other entertainment services. In a conclusion, there is little exploration to the ecological effects of rural land. This paper attempts to analyze the environmental problems related to the land transferring in Tongren City.
文摘Based on investigation data of PHC content in Jiaozhou Bay,China from 1979 to 1983,the seasonal variations of PHC content and monthly changes of precipitation in Jiaozhou Bay were analyzed. PHC content depended on mankind during the process from being used to entering soil and on precipitation during the process of being transported from soil to ocean.

文摘Establishing rural land collective property right system with clear ownership, complete powers and functions, smooth transfer, and strict protection is the basic guarantee to the equal exchange of land elements. Exploring the ways of equal exchange of land elements according to local conditions is an important political and economic issue concerning the livelihood and development of farmers in China,so it should be conducted under the guidance of the correct ideas to integrate scattered land in China's rural areas, develop moderate-scale management, shorten the income gap between urban and rural areas, and realize balancing development of urban and rural areas in China.
