The Lead-in in Learner-centered English Classroom Teaching

For many years,people have been exploring different kinds of teaching pattern of triggering the students' interests in English and enhancing the efficiency of teaching and have been seeking different kinds of approaches of optimizing the process of class teaching.So many English class teaching methods such as five-step teaching method and task-based teaching method are put forward,but these methods pay more attention to imparting new knowledge to students and to training their ability of using English than to triggering their interests in English.This article try to solve this problem by exploring different ways of lead-in in English classroom teaching to arouse students'interests in English learning.

Teaching materials play a very significant role in English teaching and learning. They serve to exemplify and embody the goal and content of a certain curricula and also act as major tools for teachers and students to carry out all kinds of activities.

Learner-Centered Instruction on Reading

Reading is one of the four basic skills of English learning, and it is also regarded as one efficient means to take in scientific and technological information in this age of knowledge explosion. The selection of reading materials should base on the learners’ need and cognitive ability, meanwhile the readability and feasibility of the reading materials lead to the effectiveness of reading. As far as it is concerned, different theorists hold different opinions, sometimes even diametrically opposed views. Some theorists reject the value of researches on reading materials while other theorists hold that the issue on reading materials should not be avoided in the research of effective reading. As the selection of reading materials should be based on traditional teachers’ experience or learners’ need, theorists had diverse voices. Taking all as a point of departure, the author investigated the origin of the problem, and believed that the selection of reading materials should take learners’ need in consideration, and focused on learners’ reading need and ability.

境脉课程:以学习者为中心的校本课程统整实践——以上海交通大学附属中学为例

以学习者为中心的“地球物理场论”课程教学模式探究

“地球物理场论”课程是勘查技术与工程专业的专业基础课。本文结合课程特点及教学现状,在以学习者为中心的教学理念指导下,对课程教学模式进行了新探索。按照教学目标,对课程框架体系进行了优化;按照布卢姆教育目标分类学理论,将授课内容进行了分类,设计了多元化的教学方式;依据教学内容,设计了多方位的全过程课程评价方式。通过教学实践,发现以学习者为中心的新教学模式提升了教学效果,激发了学生的学习潜能,增强了学生的深度学习的能力、创造性思考的能力及知识迁移的能力。

英国中小学中文学习者特点及教学探析

英国中文学习者低龄化趋势明显,中小学生体量和规模最大。“学习者”作为中文教学重要的一个维度,在近年来赴英志愿者的学位论文中有直观或间接体现。英国国家课程和中文考试大纲体现了以学习者为中心的理念。基于此理念,以有代表性的学位论文为语料,英国中小学中文学习者的学习特点体现为:认知水平有差异,具象思维占优势,具备逻辑推理等抽象思维能力;对中文普遍感兴趣,但学习动机较为模糊,持久性较难保证,外部动机与考试及职业选择联系紧密;较多使用记忆策略和社交策略,情感策略较少使用;课堂表现积极活跃,但自律性需加强。教学中需设计符合学习者认知特点的教学活动,结合职业需求激发学习者的学习动机,顺应并培养学习策略,做好课堂管理等,以充分发挥学习者自主学习、自主接受能力,探索并实现国别中文教育内涵式发展。

Formulating Innovative Societal Educational Learning Systems Using Gamification Techniques in 3D Environments

Gamified education has set the ground for the delineation of state-of-the-art literacy skills,enabling learners to develop their digital,cognitive,emotional and social competencies,through active experimentation,motivation and engagement,all while ensuring that pedagogical objectives are being effectuated,therefore capacitating the optimization of the learning process,as a whole.In this paper,we commence by assessing some of the most fundamental frameworks,models and theories evolved around the concept of gamification.We,additionally,showcase schemes through which it stimulates the actualization of active,multidimensional learning,by promoting the application of technological advancements,for the enhancement of learners’hard and soft skills,within time and cost effective frameworks.Ultimately,we,thoroughly,present a newly introduced,cross-platform,innovative educational learning system product,funded by the Hellenic Republic Ministry of Development and Investments,howlearn.Using gamification techniques,in 3D virtual environments,for the realization of STEAM related experiments which cover the vast majority of learners’subject material,while,simultaneously functioning as an authoring tool,whilst essentially accounting for accessibility,geographical and other socio-economic considerations,howlearn advocates youth-centered learning,providing the foundations towards the establishment of gamified,socially sustainable,multifaceted,inclusive educational learning systems.

设计思维如何指导教学创新?——项目化学习设计的视角

设计思维作为一套包括理念、过程和工具的系统性方法,可为教育教学变革和未来人才培养提供新思路。本研究针对教学创新实践中设计思维融入系统性和深入度不够问题,提出设计思维深度融入教学创新需要转变理念、升级目标、重组内容、再造流程、变革评价等。本研究建构了设计思维指导的项目化学习设计模型和和学习活动设计与实施框架,系统阐述了设计思维如何从宏观和微观层面帮助教师实现课程—教学—学习的一体化设计。在宏观层面,教师要围绕课程学习目标和设计思维的特性,按照定义问题—汇聚灵感、构思方案—设计原型、迭代修订—输出制品、使用改进—演化发展四个阶段,设计围绕复杂问题的创新项目、系统化学习活动链、多模态学习资源、融合性学习环境和全过程学习评价。在微观层面,教师要创设目标导向的复杂情境,设计融合内容的活动、开发操作性活动指南、实施深度交互活动、优化支持性多维评价与方案,将特定课程的学习活动设计与实施落到实处,期间要重点关注各阶段的操作重点、关键性设计思维工具、方法与核心特征的融入。本研究旨在为教师开展设计思维指导的教学创新提供理念、过程和方法的深度融入支架,落实以学习者为中心的教学。
