The Influence of Academic Self-Efficacy on Learning Engagement in Online Education in China:The Mediating Role of Effort

The shift towards online intelligent learning has become the norm in education and is now a fundamental part of modern educational activities.However,this new model can influence students’learning behavior and lead to changes in their approach to learning.Based on online intelligent learning,we investigated how the academic self-efficacy of nursing students affects their engagement with learning and explored the role of academic attribution as a mediator.Five hundred fifty-three nursing college students from Hebei and Hunan provinces in China participated in the online questionnaire.The results revealed that effort plays a mediating role in the relationship between academic self-efficacy and learning engagement.

A Study of Multimodal Intelligent Adaptive Learning System and Its Pattern of Promoting Learners’Online Learning Engagement

As the field of artificial intelligence continues to evolve,so too does the application of multimodal learning analysis and intelligent adaptive learning systems.This trend has the potential to promote the equalization of educational resources,the intellectualization of educational methods,and the modernization of educational reform,among other benefits.This study proposes a construction framework for an intelligent adaptive learning system that is supported by multimodal data.It provides a detailed explanation of the system’s working principles and patterns,which aim to enhance learners’online engagement in behavior,emotion,and cognition.The study seeks to address the issue of intelligent adaptive learning systems diagnosing learners’learning behavior based solely on learning achievement,to improve learners’online engagement,enable them to master more required knowledge,and ultimately achieve better learning outcomes.

Analysis on the status and influencing factors of undergraduate nursing students’ online learning engagement in the context of the pandemic

Objective:This project has mainly studied the online learning engagement of undergraduate nursing students and analyzes influencing factors of online learning and teaching mode during the Novel Coronavirus(COVID-19).This research has significant references for improving the efficiency and quality of the online learning mode of students.Methods:In this study,212 undergraduate nursing students were selected from a comprehensive university in Jilin Province by combining convenience sampling and cluster sampling methods.And these students were conducted with a general information questionnaire,Online Academic Emotion Scale,and Online Learning Engagement Scale.The influencing factors of this teaching mode were analyzed by multiple linear stepwise regression.Results:The total score of online learning engagement of undergraduate students was 53.85±7.38,which positively correlated with positive high arousal emotion and negative high arousal emotion,but weakly negatively correlated with negative low arousal emotion(r=0.661,0.246,-0.187,P<0.001).Grade,type of online class,online learning time,and positively high arousal emotion were mainly affected the online learning engagement of undergraduate nursing students,which explained 78.5%of the total variation(P<0.001).Conclusion:The online learning engagement of undergraduate nursing students was above the middle level under the background of the COVID-19 pandemic.Lectures and professors who teach undergraduate nursing students,should integrate the individuation characters of nursing students,and motivate their positively high arousal emotion to improve online learning engagement of students to ensure the quality of online teaching mode.

Evaluation of Chinese Learning Efficiency of International Students in China:Comparing by Dimension

This paper introduces the Value Engineering method to calculate the value coefficient of Chinese learning efficiency for 377 international students by dimension.Results suggest that attention should be paid to male,European and American,rural,introverted,and“work or education needs”international students;Give full play to the driving role of the reference-type,explore the space for improving the learning efficiency of the improvement-type and attention-type,and pay attention to the problems of problem-type international students.

Evaluation of Chinese Learning Efficiency of International Students in China

This paper investigates the related factors of Chinese learning engagement and performance of 377 students from three universities in Guangzhou of China,employs the value engineering method,and calculates the value coefficient of learning efficiency.From the value coefficient of Chinese language learning,it proves that over 60%of international students studying in China have a higher efficiency in learning Chinese.

广东省订单定向培养医学生的职业价值观、专业承诺和学习投入关系

目的 探讨订单定向培养医学生的职业价值观、专业承诺、学习投入间的关系,为提高基层医疗卫生人力培养质量提供参考。方法 采用职业价值观、专业承诺和学习投入量表对广东省848名订单定向培养医学生进行问卷调查。结果 职业价值观、专业承诺与学习投入两两正相关(P<0.01),职业价值观、专业承诺对学习投入具有预测作用(P<0.01)。专业承诺在职业价值观和学习投入间起部分中介作用,中介效应占总效应的23.96%。结论 应有针对性地加强订单定向培养医学生的职业价值观和专业承诺培养,从而促进群体学习投入水平,提高培养质量。

Investigating the Effectiveness of Peer Feedback on Writing from Stu⁃dents’Perspective:A Case Study in Scientia Secondary School,Hong Kong

This paper demonstrates students’perspective of peer feedback on writing.The researcher based on the relevant litera⁃ture to find that peer feedback has a great effect on learning engagement,evaluation skill,and peer interaction.However,there are still some doubts from teacher and student.Therefore,the researcher further reexamines this issue by conducting a pre-test,posttest with 36 students in Hong Kong,supplemented by interview data.The research findings suggest that numerous students notice the effectiveness of peer feedback whereas they are not familiar with the assessment process and technique.In this paper,the re⁃searcher will explore secondary students’perspective of peer feedback,and evaluate to what extent peer feedback can enhance their writing.Besides,there are some strategies for how to carry out peer feedback in writing class.

Learning Effects of the General Subject AI Teacher-Led Courses: A Pilot Study

The development of artificial intelligence(AI)technologyandthedemand for general-subject teaching give birth to general-subject AI teacher-led courses.In this study,79 fourth-grade pupils from two classes in a primary school in Guangzhou City are selected as the samples.The research methods of interview,classroom observation,and questionnaire survey are used to explore the effects of the AI general-subject teacher on pupils’learning effectiveness based on the framework of anthropomorphic learning process theory.The results show that the AI general-subject teacher can significantly enhance pupils’learning motivation(including intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation),increase pupils’learning engagement(including behavioral engagement,cognitive engagement,and emotional engagement),and improve pupils’learning outcomes(including knowledge and skills,process and method,emotional attitude and values).The findings confirm the important role of the AI general-subject teacher as the main instructor to promote pupils’efficient learning and provide a significant reference for solving the shortage problem of excellent teachers and reducing the burden on teachers and reducing the burden on teachers.
