Monitoring the status of linear guide rails is essential because they are important components in linear motion mechanical production.Thus,this paper proposes a new method of conducting the fault diagnosis of linear g...Monitoring the status of linear guide rails is essential because they are important components in linear motion mechanical production.Thus,this paper proposes a new method of conducting the fault diagnosis of linear guide rails.First,synchrosqueezing transform(SST)combined with Gaussian high-pass filter,termed as SSTG,is proposed to process vibration signals of linear guide rails and obtain time-frequency images,thus helping realize fault feature visual enhancement.Next,the coordinate attention(CA)mechanism is introduced to promote the DenseNet model and obtain the CA-DenseNet deep learning framework,thus realizing accurate fault classifica-tion.Comparison experiments with other methods reveal that the proposed method has a high classification accuracy of up to 95.0%.The experimental results further demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method for the fault diagnosis of linear guide rails.展开更多

It is...Based on Hertz contact theory, contact area parameters between ball and raceway are calculated. Using the Creep theory of Cater and V-J theory, adhesive area and micro-slip area in the contact area are analyzed. It is considered that micro-adhesion wear of micro convex body in the slip area is the main reason for accuracy degradation of a linear ball guide pair. And, the characteristics of the contact area between ball and raceway of slider are characterized using the fractal function. Fractal parameters are obtained using the least squares fitting double logarithmic graph structure function. Considering the lubrication condition between the ball and rail of slider, stress analysis is carried out on the adhesive area. A fractal-creep model of contact surfaces is established in the micro-slip region. The fractal parameters of a certain guide rail are measured, and the wear degradation process of linear rolling guide is simulated. Finally, the relationship between wear and relative tangential velocity, normal load and running mileage of linear ball guide is obtained.展开更多

The dynamic behaviours are the main properties of the linear guide. These properties can mainly increase the service life of linear guide pairs. The main propose of this study is the comparison of stiffness of linear guide pairs by FEA and experiment. Measure the stiffness experimentally and, compare the results with FEA to prove the correctness of FEA model. For studying was chosen three linear guides: Chinese company-1, Chinese company-2 and abroad company. The results of this study are (1) Set up the finite element model of linear guides with different geometrical parameters. (2) Comparison of FEA and experiment results shows almost same results. (3) The FEA results show correctness of analysis. These studies are useful for establishing the stiffness on different structures of linear guides.展开更多
