On the basis of reported experimental vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data of NH3-1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate (NH3-[Emim]Ac), NH3-1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (NH3-[Bmim][BF4]), NH3-1,3-d...On the basis of reported experimental vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data of NH3-1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium acetate (NH3-[Emim]Ac), NH3-1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate (NH3-[Bmim][BF4]), NH3-1,3-dimethylimidazolium dimethyl phosphate (NH3-[Mmim]DMP) and NH3-1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium ethylsulfate (NH3-[Emim]EtOSO3) binary systems, the interaction parameters of 14 new groups have been regressed by means of the UNIFAC model. To validate the reliability of the method, these parameters have been used to calculate the VLE data with the average relative deviation of pressures of less than 9.35%. The infinite dilution activity coefficient ( γ1∞ ) and the absorption potential ( φ1 ) are important evaluation criterions of the affinity between working pair species of the absorption cycle. The UNIFAC model is implemented to predict the values of and φ1 of t6 sets of NH3-ionic liquid (1L) systems. The work found that the φ1 gradually increases following the impact order: φ1([Cnmim][BF4])〈φ1([Cnmim]EtOSO3)〈φ1([Cnmim]DMP)〈φ1([Cnmim]Ac) (n= 1, 2, 3, … ) at a given cation of IL species and constant temperature, and φ1([Mmim]X)〈φ1([Emim]X)〈φ1([Pmim]X)〈 φ1([Bmim]X)(X= Ac, [BF4], DMP or EtOSO3) at a given anion of IL species and constant temperature. Furthermore, the φ1 gradually increases with increasing temperature. Then, it could be concluded that the working pair NH3-[BmimlAc has the best potential research value relatively.展开更多

By the liqu...(Received 8 June 2013) Our recent progress on the preparation of a series of new FeSe-based superconductors and the clarification of SC phases in potassium-intercalated iron selenides are reviewed here. By the liquid ammonia method, metals Li, Na, Ca, Sr, Ba, Eu, and Yb are intercalated in between FeSe layers and form superconductors with transition temperatures of 30 K^46 K, which cannot be obtained by high-temperature routes. In the potassium-intercalated iron selenides, we demonstrate that at least two SC phases exist, KxFe2Se2(NH3)y (x 0.3 and 0.6), determined mainly by the concentration of potassium. NH3 has little, if any, effect on superconductivity, but plays an important role in stabilizing the structures. All these results provide a new starting point for studying the intrinsic properties of this family of superconductors, especially for their particular electronic structures.展开更多

In this paper, the method of the pretreat...Miscanthus biomass yield high, high photosynthetic efficiency, fast growth, easy breeding, widely distributed, is suitable as raw materials for the production of fuel ethanol. In this paper, the method of the pretreatment of liquid ammonia for Miscanthus, using the pretreatment of liquid ammonia to overcome biomass recalcitrance, adding cellulase enzyme, and the monosaccharide content is determined by using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Effect of pretreatment process on the enzyme solution effect of awn, conducts the research to the water processing rate, temperature, residence time, amount of ammonia, the amount of H2O2 parameters. Data shows that, in the moisture content of 80%, temperature 130?C, loading amount of ammonia 2:1, residence time 10 min, the glucan and xylan enzyme conversion rate are 73.23% and 73.28% respectively. After a mass balance, dry base mans per 100 g can get glucose 28.96 g and xylan 17.25 g.展开更多
Ammonia(NH3)is a carbon-free,hydrogen-rich chemical related to global food safety,clean energy,and environmental protection.As an essential technology for meeting the requirements raised by such issues,NH3 capture has...Ammonia(NH3)is a carbon-free,hydrogen-rich chemical related to global food safety,clean energy,and environmental protection.As an essential technology for meeting the requirements raised by such issues,NH3 capture has been intensively explored by researchers in both fundamental and applied fields.The four typical methods used are(1)solvent absorption by ionic liquids and their derivatives,(2)adsorption by porous solids,(3)abadsorption by porous liquids,and(4)membrane separation.Rooted in the development of advanced materials for NH3 capture,we conducted a coherent review of the design of different materials,mainly in the past 5 years,their interactions with NH3 molecules and construction of transport pathways,as well as the structure–property relationship,with specific examples discussed.Finally,the challenges in current research and future worthwhile directions for NH3 capture materials are proposed.展开更多
