To this end, we propose two types of monotonicity definition for the set-valued mapping introduced by two nonlinear scalarization functions which are presented by these partial order relations. Then, we give some sufficient conditions for the semicontinuity and closedness of solution mappings for parametric set optimization problems. Moments of generalized order statistics appear in several areas of science and engineering.These moments are useful in studying properties of the random variables which are arranged in increasing order of importance,f...Moments of generalized order statistics appear in several areas of science and engineering.These moments are useful in studying properties of the random variables which are arranged in increasing order of importance,for example,time to failure of a computer system.The computation of these moments is sometimes very tedious and hence some algorithms are required.One algorithm is to use a recursive method of computation of these moments and is very useful as it provides the basis to compute higher moments of generalized order statistics from the corresponding lower-order moments.Generalized order statistics pro-vides several models of ordered data as a special case.The moments of general-ized order statistics also provide moments of order statistics and record values as a special case.In this research,the recurrence relations for single,product,inverse and ratio moments of generalized order statistics will be obtained for Lindley–Weibull distribution.These relations will be helpful for obtained moments of gen-eralized order statistics from Lindley–Weibull distribution recursively.Special cases of the recurrence relations will also be obtained.Some characterizations of the distribution will also be obtained by using moments of generalized order statistics.These relations for moments and characterizations can be used in differ-ent areas of computer sciences where data is arranged in increasing order.展开更多

A second-order slip condition, which appro...The heat transfer of a magnetohydrodynamics nanofluid inside an annulus considering the second-order slip condition and nanoparticle migration is theoret-ically investigated. A second-order slip condition, which appropriately represents the non-equilibrium region near the interface, is prescribed rather than the no-slip condition and the linear Navier slip condition. To impose different temperature gradients, the outer wall is subjected to q2, the inner wall is subjected to q1, and q1 〉 q2. A modified two-component four-equation non-homogeneous equilibrium model is employed for the nanofiuid, which have been reduced to two-point ordinary boundary value differential equations in the consideration of the thermally and hydrodynamically fully developed flow. The homotopy analysis method (HAM) is employed to solve the equations, and the h-curves are plotted to verify the accuracy and efficiency of the solutions. Moreover, the effects of the physical factors on the flow and heat transfer are discussed in detail, and the semi-analytical relation between NUB and NBT is obtained.展开更多

While much research on The Joy Luck Club has been studied through grand lens,like feminism,or cultural factors,trauma,etc.,little research has been conducted to highlight self-consciousness and conflicts that are refl...While much research on The Joy Luck Club has been studied through grand lens,like feminism,or cultural factors,trauma,etc.,little research has been conducted to highlight self-consciousness and conflicts that are reflected in their seemingly endless dialogues between the four mothers and their daughters throughout the novel.Using dialogue from Bakhtin’s polyphony theory,the present study investigates precisely how it works to awaken self-consciousness in all of them;how their understanding and connection are restored,and eventually how exactly right decisions are made for their daughters in marriage.The findings show that,after numerous dialogues between mothers and daughters,their self-awareness has become clearer,their relations are mended,the right decisions are made,and eventually the order in every aspect is reconstructed.The study calls for greater attention to the embodiment of dialogues in The Joy Luck Club,and how they work effectively and profoundly at every level,and at last how they fulfill the reconstruction of orders in certain aspects.展开更多
