Th...The research purpose of this dissertation is threefold: to innovate artificial intelligence methods, to create the intersection of artificial intelligence and biological research, and to innovate human methodology. The work I have done in my research includes: improving logical structure and logical engineering, using my theory to study the innovation of the development path of artificial intelligence, using my theory to create biomimetic logic, a new intersection of artificial intelligence and biological research, and exploring the innovation of human methodology through the previous two works. The results of the research are as follows: 1) Introduction to bionic logic, incorporating simulations of people, society, and life as core principles. 2) Definition of the logical structure as the primary focus of research, with logic mechanics serving as foundational research principles. 3) Examination of the logical structure’s environment through logical fields and networks. 4) Study of logical structure communication via logical networks and main lines. 5) Proposal of data logic. 6) Investigation into the logic of logical structures, employing structural diagrams of logical equations. 7) Development of a theory of life activity within logical structures, encompassing information reasoning, its corresponding control structure, and structural reasoning. 8) Introduction of the lifecycle theory for logical structures and examination of the clock equation. 9) Exploration of logical structure intelligence. 10) Study of logical structures in mathematical forms. 11) Introduction of logic engineering. 12) Examination of artificial intelligence’s significance. 13) Investigation into the significance of human methodology.展开更多

In the survey, Aristotle’s causality principle an...A survey on agents, causality and intelligence is presented and an equilibrium-based computing paradigm of quantum agents and quantum intelligence (QAQI) is proposed. In the survey, Aristotle’s causality principle and its historical extensions by David Hume, Bertrand Russell, Lotfi Zadeh, Donald Rubin, Judea Pearl, Niels Bohr, Albert Einstein, David Bohm, and the causal set initiative are reviewed;bipolar dynamic logic (BDL) is introduced as a causal logic for bipolar inductive and deductive reasoning;bipolar quantum linear algebra (BQLA) is introdused as a causal algebra for quantum agent interaction and formation. Despite the widely held view that causality is undefinable with regularity, it is shown that equilibrium-based bipolar causality is logically definable using BDL and BQLA for causal inference in physical, social, biological, mental, and philosophical terms. This finding leads to the paradigm of QAQI where agents are modeled as quantum enssembles;intelligence is revealed as quantum intelligence. It is shown that the enssemble formation, mutation and interaction of agents can be described as direct or indirect results of quantum causality. Some fundamental laws of causation are presented for quantum agent entanglement and quantum intelligence. Applicability is illustrated;major challenges are identified in equilibriumbased causal inference and quantum data mining.展开更多

Quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)are widely used in inspection,agriculture,express delivery,and other fields owing to their low cost and high flexibility.However,the current UAV control system has shortcomings ...Quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)are widely used in inspection,agriculture,express delivery,and other fields owing to their low cost and high flexibility.However,the current UAV control system has shortcomings such as poor control accuracy and weak anti-interference ability to a certain extent.To address the control problem of a four-rotor UAV,we propose a method to enhance the controller’s accuracy by considering underactuated dynamics,nonlinearities,and external disturbances.A mathematical model is constructed based on the flight principles of the quadrotor UAV.We develop a control algorithm that combines humanoid intelligence with a cascade Proportional-Integral-Derivative(PID)approach.This algorithm incorporates the rate of change of the error into the inputs of the cascade PID controller,uses both the error and its rate of change as characteristic variables of the UAV’s control system,and employs a hyperbolic tangent function to improve the outer-loop control.The result is a double closed-loop intelligent PID(DCLIPID)control algorithm.Through MATLAB numerical simulation tests,it is found that the DCLIPID algorithm reduces the rise time by 0.5 s and the number of oscillations by 2 times compared to the string PID algorithm when a unit step signal is used as input.A UAV flight test was designed for comparison with the serial PID algorithm,and it was found that when the UAV planned the trajectory autonomously,the errors in the X-,Y-,and Z-directions were reduced by 0.22,0.21,and 0.31 m,respectively.Under the interference environment of artificial wind about 3.6 m·s-1,the UAV hovering error in X-,Y-,and Z-directions are 0.24,0.42,and 0.27 m,respectively.The simulation and experimental results show that the control method of humanoid intelligence and cascade PID can improve the real-time,control accuracy and anti-interference ability of the UAV,and the method has a certain reference value for the research in the field of UAV control.展开更多

The book itself propos...This article presents four (4) additions to a book on the brain’s OS published by SciRP in 2015 [1]. It is a kind of appendix to the book. Some familiarity with the earlier book is presupposed. The book itself proposes a complete physical and mathematical blueprint of the brain’s OS. A first addition to the book (see Chapters 5 to 10 below) concerns the relation between the afore-mentioned blueprint and the more than 2000-year-old so-called fundamental laws of thought of logic and philosophy, which came to be viewed as being three (3) in number, namely the laws of 1) Identity, 2) Contradiction, and 3) the Excluded Middle. The blueprint and the laws cannot both be the final foundation of the brain’s OS. The design of the present paper is to interpret the laws in strictly mathematical terms in light of the blueprint. This addition constitutes the bulk of the present article. Chapters 5 to 8 set the stage. Chapters 9 and 10 present a detailed mathematical analysis of the laws. A second addition to the book (Chapter 11) concerns the distinction between the laws and the axioms of the brain’s OS. Laws are part of physics. Axioms are part of mathematics. Since the theory of the brain’s OS involves both physics and mathematics, it exhibits both laws and axioms. A third addition (Chapter 12) to the book involves an additional flavor of digitality in the brain’s OS. In the book, there are five (5). But brain chemistry requires a sixth. It will be called Existence Digitality. A fourth addition (Chapter 13) concerns reflections on the role of imagination in theories of physics in light of the ignorance of deeper causes. The recent research and devel- opment of computational intelligence techniques in fault diagnosis, prediction and optimal sensor placement are reviewed. The advantages and limitations of computational intelligence techniques in practical applications are dis- cussed. The characteristics of different algorithms are compared, and application situations of these methods are summarized. Computational intelligence methods need to be further studied in deep understanding algorithm mech- anism, improving algorithm efficiency and enhancing engineering application. In order to accurately forecast the load of power system and enhance the stability of the power network, a novel unascertained mathematics based recurrent neural network (UMRNN) for power intelligence center (PIC) was...In order to accurately forecast the load of power system and enhance the stability of the power network, a novel unascertained mathematics based recurrent neural network (UMRNN) for power intelligence center (PIC) was created through three steps. First, by combining with the general project uncertain element transmission theory (GPUET), the basic definitions of stochastic, fuzzy, and grey uncertain elements were given based on the principal types of uncertain information. Second, a power dynamic alliance including four sectors: generation sector, transmission sector, distribution sector and customers was established. The key factors were amended according to the four transmission topologies of uncertain elements, thus the new factors entered the power intelligence center as the input elements. Finally, in the intelligence handing background of PIC, by performing uncertain and recursive process to the input values of network, and combining unascertained mathematics, the novel load forecasting model was built. Three different approaches were put forward to forecast an eastern regional power grid load in China. The root mean square error (ERMS) demonstrates that the forecasting accuracy of the proposed model UMRNN is 3% higher than that of BP neural network (BPNN), and 5% higher than that of autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA). Besides, an example also shows that the average relative error of the first quarter of 2008 forecasted by UMRNN is only 2.59%, which has high precision.展开更多

With increasing world population the demand of food production has increased exponentially.Internet of Things(IoT)based smart agriculture system can play a vital role in optimising crop yield by managing crop requirem...With increasing world population the demand of food production has increased exponentially.Internet of Things(IoT)based smart agriculture system can play a vital role in optimising crop yield by managing crop requirements in real-time.Interpretability can be an important factor to make such systems trusted and easily adopted by farmers.In this paper,we propose a novel artificial intelligence-based agriculture system that uses IoT data to monitor the environment and alerts farmers to take the required actions for maintaining ideal conditions for crop production.The strength of the proposed system is in its interpretability which makes it easy for farmers to understand,trust and use it.The use of fuzzy logic makes the system customisable in terms of types/number of sensors,type of crop,and adaptable for any soil types and weather conditions.The proposed system can identify anomalous data due to security breaches or hardware malfunction using machine learning algorithms.To ensure the viability of the system we have conducted thorough research related to agricultural factors such as soil type,soil moisture,soil temperature,plant life cycle,irrigation requirement and water application timing for Maize as our target crop.The experimental results show that our proposed system is interpretable,can detect anomalous data,and triggers actions accurately based on crop requirements.展开更多

Recently, an entire monograph has been devoted to its history. There has been a multiplicity of approaches to the problem. These approaches are not necessarily mutually exclusive. The design of the present paper is to add one more approach by analyzing the mathematical structure of the Monty Hall problem in digital terms. The structure of the problem is described as much as possible in the tradition and the spirit—and as much as possible by means of the algebraic conventions—of George Boole’s Investigation of the Laws of Thought (1854), the Magna Charta of the digital age, and of John Venn’s Symbolic Logic (second edition, 1894), which is squarely based on Boole’s Investigation and elucidates it in many ways. The focus is not only on the digital-mathematical structure itself but also on its relation to the presumed digital nature of cognition as expressed in rational thought and language. The digital approach is outlined in part 1. In part 2, the Monty Hall problem is analyzed digitally. To ensure the generality of the digital approach and demonstrate its reliability and productivity, the Monty Hall problem is extended and generalized in parts 3 and 4 to related cases in light of the axioms of probability theory. In the full mapping of the mathematical structure of the Monty Hall problem and any extensions thereof, a digital or non-quantitative skeleton is fleshed out by a quantitative component. Folate mediated one- carbon metabolism plays an important role in epigenetic regulation of gene expression and mutagenesis. Many contaminants in food cause cancer through epigenetic mechanisms and/or DNA instability i.e. default methylation of uracil to thymine, subsequent to the decrease of 5-methylte- trahydrofolate (5 mTHF) pool in the one-carbon metabolism network. Evaluating consequences of an exposure to food contaminants based on systems biology approaches is a promising alternative field of investigation. This report presents a dynamic mathematical modeling for the study of the alteration in the one-carbon metabolism network by environmental factors. It provides a model for predicting “the impact of arbitrary contaminants that can induce the 5 mTHF deficiency. The model allows for a given experimental condition, the analysis of DNA methylation activity and dumping methylation in the de novo pathway of DNA synthesis.展开更多

In today’s industrial companies, sensory evaluation is widely used in quality inspection of products, in marketing study and in many other fields such as risk evaluation, investment evaluation and safety evaluation. In practice, setting up a suitable mathematical formulation, an efficient working procedure and a pertinent computing method for sensory evaluation is quite difficult because of uncertainty and imprecision in sensory panels and their results involving linguistic expressions, non normalized data, data reliability, etc. At the present a prime problem of the practitioner is not the lack of useful methods but the lack of transparency in this area. In this tutorial lecture, we briefly describe some of the technology in the computational intelligence (CI) areas that has been developed for application to sensory evaluation and related fields. 文摘Quadrotor unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)are widely used in inspection,agriculture,express delivery,and other fields owing to their low cost and high flexibility.However,the current UAV control system has shortcomings such as poor control accuracy and weak anti-interference ability to a certain extent.To address the control problem of a four-rotor UAV,we propose a method to enhance the controller’s accuracy by considering underactuated dynamics,nonlinearities,and external disturbances.A mathematical model is constructed based on the flight principles of the quadrotor UAV.We develop a control algorithm that combines humanoid intelligence with a cascade Proportional-Integral-Derivative(PID)approach.This algorithm incorporates the rate of change of the error into the inputs of the cascade PID controller,uses both the error and its rate of change as characteristic variables of the UAV’s control system,and employs a hyperbolic tangent function to improve the outer-loop control.The result is a double closed-loop intelligent PID(DCLIPID)control algorithm.Through MATLAB numerical simulation tests,it is found that the DCLIPID algorithm reduces the rise time by 0.5 s and the number of oscillations by 2 times compared to the string PID algorithm when a unit step signal is used as input.A UAV flight test was designed for comparison with the serial PID algorithm,and it was found that when the UAV planned the trajectory autonomously,the errors in the X-,Y-,and Z-directions were reduced by 0.22,0.21,and 0.31 m,respectively.Under the interference environment of artificial wind about 3.6 m·s-1,the UAV hovering error in X-,Y-,and Z-directions are 0.24,0.42,and 0.27 m,respectively.The simulation and experimental results show that the control method of humanoid intelligence and cascade PID can improve the real-time,control accuracy and anti-interference ability of the UAV,and the method has a certain reference value for the research in the field of UAV control.

文摘This article presents four (4) additions to a book on the brain’s OS published by SciRP in 2015 [1]. It is a kind of appendix to the book. Some familiarity with the earlier book is presupposed. The book itself proposes a complete physical and mathematical blueprint of the brain’s OS. A first addition to the book (see Chapters 5 to 10 below) concerns the relation between the afore-mentioned blueprint and the more than 2000-year-old so-called fundamental laws of thought of logic and philosophy, which came to be viewed as being three (3) in number, namely the laws of 1) Identity, 2) Contradiction, and 3) the Excluded Middle. The blueprint and the laws cannot both be the final foundation of the brain’s OS. The design of the present paper is to interpret the laws in strictly mathematical terms in light of the blueprint. This addition constitutes the bulk of the present article. Chapters 5 to 8 set the stage. Chapters 9 and 10 present a detailed mathematical analysis of the laws. A second addition to the book (Chapter 11) concerns the distinction between the laws and the axioms of the brain’s OS. Laws are part of physics. Axioms are part of mathematics. Since the theory of the brain’s OS involves both physics and mathematics, it exhibits both laws and axioms. A third addition (Chapter 12) to the book involves an additional flavor of digitality in the brain’s OS. In the book, there are five (5). But brain chemistry requires a sixth. It will be called Existence Digitality. A fourth addition (Chapter 13) concerns reflections on the role of imagination in theories of physics in light of the ignorance of deeper causes. Chapters 1 to 4 present preliminary matter, for the most part a brief survey of general concepts derived from what is in the book [1]. Some historical notes are gathered at the end in Chapter 14.

文摘Computational intelligence is one of the most powerful data processing tools to solve complex nonlinear problems, and thus plays a significant role in intelligent fault diagnosis and prediction. However, only few com- prehensive reviews have summarized the ongoing efforts of computational intelligence in machinery condition moni- toring and fault diagnosis. The recent research and devel- opment of computational intelligence techniques in fault diagnosis, prediction and optimal sensor placement are reviewed. The advantages and limitations of computational intelligence techniques in practical applications are dis- cussed. The characteristics of different algorithms are compared, and application situations of these methods are summarized. Computational intelligence methods need to be further studied in deep understanding algorithm mech- anism, improving algorithm efficiency and enhancing engineering application. This review may be considered as a useful guidance for researchers in selecting a suit- able method for a specific situation and pointing out potential research directions.

文摘In order to accurately forecast the load of power system and enhance the stability of the power network, a novel unascertained mathematics based recurrent neural network (UMRNN) for power intelligence center (PIC) was created through three steps. First, by combining with the general project uncertain element transmission theory (GPUET), the basic definitions of stochastic, fuzzy, and grey uncertain elements were given based on the principal types of uncertain information. Second, a power dynamic alliance including four sectors: generation sector, transmission sector, distribution sector and customers was established. The key factors were amended according to the four transmission topologies of uncertain elements, thus the new factors entered the power intelligence center as the input elements. Finally, in the intelligence handing background of PIC, by performing uncertain and recursive process to the input values of network, and combining unascertained mathematics, the novel load forecasting model was built. Three different approaches were put forward to forecast an eastern regional power grid load in China. The root mean square error (ERMS) demonstrates that the forecasting accuracy of the proposed model UMRNN is 3% higher than that of BP neural network (BPNN), and 5% higher than that of autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA). Besides, an example also shows that the average relative error of the first quarter of 2008 forecasted by UMRNN is only 2.59%, which has high precision.
文摘Soccer robot system is a tremendously challenging intelligent system developed to mimic human soccer competition based on the multi discipline research: robotics, intelligent control, computer vision, etc. robot path planning strategy is a very important subject concerning to the performance and intelligence degree of the multi robot system. Therefore, this paper studies the path planning strategy of soccer system by using fuzzy logic. After setting up two fuzziers and two sorts of fuzzy rules for soccer system, fuzzy logic is applied to workspace partition and path revision. The experiment results show that this technique can well enhance the performance and intelligence degree of the system.

文摘Autonomous systems are an emerging AI technology functioning without human intervention underpinned by the latest advances in intelligence,cognition,computer,and systems sciences.This paper explores the intelligent and mathematical foundations of autonomous systems.It focuses on structural and behavioral properties that constitute the intelligent power of autonomous systems.It explains how system intelligence aggregates from reflexive,imperative,adaptive intelligence to autonomous and cognitive intelligence.A hierarchical intelligence model(HIM)is introduced to elaborate the evolution of human and system intelligence as an inductive process.The properties of system autonomy are formally analyzed towards a wide range of applications in computational intelligence and systems engineering.Emerging paradigms of autonomous systems including brain-inspired systems,cognitive robots,and autonomous knowledge learning systems are described.Advances in autonomous systems will pave a way towards highly intelligent machines for augmenting human capabilities.

文摘The paper puts forward a variance-time plots method based on slide-window mechanism tocalculate the Hurst parameter to detect Distribute Denial of Service(DDoS)attack in real time.Basedon fuzzy logic technology that can adjust itself dynamically under the fuzzy rules,an intelligent DDoSjudgment mechanism is designed.This new method calculates the Hurst parameter quickly and detectsDDoS attack in real time.Through comparing the detecting technologies based on statistics andfeature-packet respectively under different experiments,it is found that the new method can identifythe change of the Hurst parameter resulting from DDoS attack traffic with different intensities,andintelligently judge DDoS attack self-adaptively in real time.

文摘With increasing world population the demand of food production has increased exponentially.Internet of Things(IoT)based smart agriculture system can play a vital role in optimising crop yield by managing crop requirements in real-time.Interpretability can be an important factor to make such systems trusted and easily adopted by farmers.In this paper,we propose a novel artificial intelligence-based agriculture system that uses IoT data to monitor the environment and alerts farmers to take the required actions for maintaining ideal conditions for crop production.The strength of the proposed system is in its interpretability which makes it easy for farmers to understand,trust and use it.The use of fuzzy logic makes the system customisable in terms of types/number of sensors,type of crop,and adaptable for any soil types and weather conditions.The proposed system can identify anomalous data due to security breaches or hardware malfunction using machine learning algorithms.To ensure the viability of the system we have conducted thorough research related to agricultural factors such as soil type,soil moisture,soil temperature,plant life cycle,irrigation requirement and water application timing for Maize as our target crop.The experimental results show that our proposed system is interpretable,can detect anomalous data,and triggers actions accurately based on crop requirements.
文摘The Monty Hall problem has received its fair share of attention in mathematics. Recently, an entire monograph has been devoted to its history. There has been a multiplicity of approaches to the problem. These approaches are not necessarily mutually exclusive. The design of the present paper is to add one more approach by analyzing the mathematical structure of the Monty Hall problem in digital terms. The structure of the problem is described as much as possible in the tradition and the spirit—and as much as possible by means of the algebraic conventions—of George Boole’s Investigation of the Laws of Thought (1854), the Magna Charta of the digital age, and of John Venn’s Symbolic Logic (second edition, 1894), which is squarely based on Boole’s Investigation and elucidates it in many ways. The focus is not only on the digital-mathematical structure itself but also on its relation to the presumed digital nature of cognition as expressed in rational thought and language. The digital approach is outlined in part 1. In part 2, the Monty Hall problem is analyzed digitally. To ensure the generality of the digital approach and demonstrate its reliability and productivity, the Monty Hall problem is extended and generalized in parts 3 and 4 to related cases in light of the axioms of probability theory. In the full mapping of the mathematical structure of the Monty Hall problem and any extensions thereof, a digital or non-quantitative skeleton is fleshed out by a quantitative component. The pertinent mathematical equations are developed and presented and illustrated by means of examples.

文摘Taking autonomous driving and driverless as the research object,we discuss and define intelligent high-precision map.Intelligent high-precision map is considered as a key link of future travel,a carrier of real-time perception of traffic resources in the entire space-time range,and the criterion for the operation and control of the whole process of the vehicle.As a new form of map,it has distinctive features in terms of cartography theory and application requirements compared with traditional navigation electronic maps.Thus,it is necessary to analyze and discuss its key features and problems to promote the development of research and application of intelligent high-precision map.Accordingly,we propose an information transmission model based on the cartography theory and combine the wheeled robot’s control flow in practical application.Next,we put forward the data logic structure of intelligent high-precision map,and analyze its application in autonomous driving.Then,we summarize the computing mode of“Crowdsourcing+Edge-Cloud Collaborative Computing”,and carry out key technical analysis on how to improve the quality of crowdsourced data.We also analyze the effective application scenarios of intelligent high-precision map in the future.Finally,we present some thoughts and suggestions for the future development of this field.

文摘Environmental contamination of food is a worldwide public health problem. Folate mediated one- carbon metabolism plays an important role in epigenetic regulation of gene expression and mutagenesis. Many contaminants in food cause cancer through epigenetic mechanisms and/or DNA instability i.e. default methylation of uracil to thymine, subsequent to the decrease of 5-methylte- trahydrofolate (5 mTHF) pool in the one-carbon metabolism network. Evaluating consequences of an exposure to food contaminants based on systems biology approaches is a promising alternative field of investigation. This report presents a dynamic mathematical modeling for the study of the alteration in the one-carbon metabolism network by environmental factors. It provides a model for predicting “the impact of arbitrary contaminants that can induce the 5 mTHF deficiency. The model allows for a given experimental condition, the analysis of DNA methylation activity and dumping methylation in the de novo pathway of DNA synthesis.
文摘Sensory evaluation is the evaluation of signals that a human receives via its senses of sight, smell, taste, touch and hearing. In today’s industrial companies, sensory evaluation is widely used in quality inspection of products, in marketing study and in many other fields such as risk evaluation, investment evaluation and safety evaluation. In practice, setting up a suitable mathematical formulation, an efficient working procedure and a pertinent computing method for sensory evaluation is quite difficult because of uncertainty and imprecision in sensory panels and their results involving linguistic expressions, non normalized data, data reliability, etc. At the present a prime problem of the practitioner is not the lack of useful methods but the lack of transparency in this area. In this tutorial lecture, we briefly describe some of the technology in the computational intelligence (CI) areas that has been developed for application to sensory evaluation and related fields. Moreover, we will illustrate the role of CI in sensory evaluation related applications from some recent publications.
