Relationship between Logistics Firm Size and Business Diversification: An Empirical Study of Chongqing, Area in China

It is inte</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">nded to contribute to theoretical research on diversification in the emerging logistics industry based on resource-based view (RBV) and factor production theory. We innovatively establish the logistics business classification system, then measure the degree and direction of diversification of lo</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">gistics enterprises based on mean narrow-spectrum diversification-based</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;"> product count methods. The empirically shows that there are a growing number of highly-diversified logistics enterprises in general, with an average annual increase of 14.23%. Especially after 2008, small and medium-sized enterprises developed towards r</span><span style="font-family:Verdana;">elated diversification while micro-sized enterprises came to the opposite conclusion. For them, creating unrelated diversified business is a crucial way to generate a competitive advantage. Unlike the conclusions derived from other industries, small-sized logistics enterprises are prone to try a new business, both related and unrelated, for better survival and performance. Intrusion Detection System(IDS)is a network security mechanism that analyses all users’and applications’traffic and detectsmalicious activities in real-time.The existing IDSmethods suffer fromlower accuracy and lack the required level of security to prevent sophisticated attacks.This problem can result in the system being vulnerable to attacks,which can lead to the loss of sensitive data and potential system failure.Therefore,this paper proposes an Intrusion Detection System using Logistic Tanh-based Convolutional Neural Network Classification(LTH-CNN).Here,the Correlation Coefficient based Mayfly Optimization(CC-MA)algorithm is used to extract the input characteristics for the IDS from the input data.Then,the optimized features are utilized by the LTH-CNN,which returns the attacked and non-attacked data.After that,the attacked data is stored in the log file and non-attacked data is mapped to the cyber security and data security phases.To prevent the system from cyber-attack,the Source and Destination IP address is converted into a complex binary format named 1’s Complement Reverse Shift Right(CRSR),where,in the data security phase the sensed data is converted into an encrypted format using Senders Public key Exclusive OR Receivers Public Key-Elliptic Curve Cryptography(PXORP-ECC)Algorithm to improve the data security.TheNetwork Security Laboratory-Knowledge Discovery inDatabases(NSLKDD)dataset and real-time sensor are used to train and evaluate the proposed LTH-CNN.The suggested model is evaluated based on accuracy,sensitivity,and specificity,which outperformed the existing IDS methods,according to the results of the experiments. 展开更多

Wind Power Prediction Based on Multi-class Autoregressive Moving Average Model with Logistic Function 被引量:1

The seasonality and randomness of wind present a significant challenge to the operation of modern power systems with high penetration of wind generation. An effective shortterm wind power prediction model is indispensable to address this challenge. In this paper, we propose a combined model, i.e.,a wind power prediction model based on multi-class autoregressive moving average(ARMA). It has a two-layer structure: the first layer classifies the wind power data into multiple classes with the logistic function based classification method;the second layer trains the prediction algorithm in each class. This two-layer structure helps effectively tackle the seasonality and randomness of wind power while at the same time maintaining high training efficiency with moderate model parameters. We interpret the training of the proposed model as a solvable optimization problem. We then adopt an iterative algorithm with a semi-closed-form solution to efficiently solve it. Data samples from open-source projects demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed model. Through a series of comparisons with other state-of-the-art models, the experimental results confirm that the proposed model improves not only the prediction accuracy,but also the parameter estimation efficiency. 展开更多
