Based on the discussion about working mechanism of horizontal reinforcement and that of vertical reinforcement,respectively,the working mechanism of two-direction reinforced composite foundation was studied.The enhancing effect of horizontal reinforcement on vertical reinforced composite foundation was analyzed.A simplified calculation method for such two-direction reinforced working system was presented.A model experiment was carried out to validate the proposed method.In the experiment,geocell reinforcement worked as the horizontal reinforcement,while gravel pile composite foundation worked as the vertical reinforcement.The results show that the calculated curve is close to the measured one.The installation of geosynthetic reinforcement can increase the bearing capacity of composite foundation by nearly 68% at normal foundation settlement,which suggests that the enhancing effect by geosynthetic reinforcement should be taken into account in current design/analysis methods. 展开更多

For Gu-Ag alloy, an important parameter called workability in the forming process of materials can be evaluated by processing maps yielded from the stress-strain data generated by hot compression tests at temperatures of 700-850 °C and strain rates of 0.01-10 s-1. And at the true strain of 0.15, 0.35 and 0.55, respectively, the responses of strain-rate sensitivity, power dissipation efficiency and instability parameter to temperature and strain rate were studied. Instability maps and power dissipation maps were superimposed to form processing maps, which reveal the determinate regions where individual metallurgical processes occur and the limiting conditions of flow instability regions. Furthermore, the optimal processing parameters for bulk metal working are identified clearly by the processing maps. 展开更多

The influence of hot working on the microstructures of TC11/Ti2 Al Nb dual-alloy joints welded by electron beam welding(EBW) process was investigated. The tensile tests were performed at room temperature for specimens before and after thermal exposure. The results show that the fusion zone of TC11/Ti2 Al Nb dual-alloy joint welded by EBW is mainly composed of β phase. After deformation and heat treatment, the grain boundaries of the as-cast alloy are broken and the fusion zone mainly consists of β, α2and α phases. The fusion zone performs poor property in the tensile test. Specimens before and after thermal exposure all fail in this area under different deformation conditions. The ultimate tensile strength of specimens after heat treatment is up to 1190 MPa at room temperature. The joints by water quenching after deformation have better plasticity with an elongation up to 4.4%. After thermal exposure at 500 °C for 100 h, the tensile strength of the specimen slightly rises while the ductility changes a little. SEM observation shows that the fracture mechanism is predominantly transgranular under different deformation conditions. 展开更多

Based on the fluid mechanics and mass transfer theory,a mathematical model of the spatial-temporal variation of gas was derived to avoid the gas accident caused by the main fan stopping ventilation under the condition of intermittent ventilation in the tunnel.According to the actual parameters of the tunnel,a numerical calculation model was established.The spatial-temporal variation of gas concentration in the fully mechanized working face under the condition of intermittent ventilation was calculated by using the commercial package Fluent,and the correctness of the calculated results was verified by the actual monitoring data of the mine.Firstly,the gas concentration was calculated under different wind velocities at driving face in coal tunnel,and the result showed that the gas can be carried effectively by the wind when the wind velocity is about 1.8 m/s.Secondly,the distributions of wind velocity and gas concentration at driving face were studied at 1.8 m/s,and the result showed the gas concentration increased gradually with the distance close to the outlet,but the gas concentration almost kept constant at the height of driving face.Thirdly,the distribution of gas concentration was investigated with time after the ventilation was stopped and restarted,respectively.The gas concentration of test point gradually increased with the increment of downtime,when the downtime was 40 min,the gas concentration of test point 3 reached the maximum value.The gas concentration increased gradually and reached the maximum after10 min of restart,then sharply decreased and kept constant. 展开更多

Magnesium alloys are frequently subjected to biaxial stress during manufacturing process,however,the work hardening behavior under such circumstance are not well understood.In this study,the deformation mechanisms and differential work hardening behavior of rolled AZ31 magnesium alloy sheets under biaxial loading are investigated.The change of plastic work contours with increasing plastic strain indicates the differential work hardening behavior of AZ31 magnesium alloy under biaxial stress state,resulting in higher macroscopic work hardening rates of biaxial loading than uniaxial loading,with the elastic-plastic transition part of work hardening extended and stage Ⅲ hardly emerged.Electron backscatter diffraction and Schmid factor analysis confirm the low activation of non-basalslip during biaxial loading tests.While the thickness strain is primarily accommodated by pyramidal<c+a>slip at the initial stage of biaxial deformation,{10–11}contraction twinning is activated at larger plastic strain.The low activation of non-basalslip also retards the dynamic recovery and cross-slip of basal and prismaticslips,leading to the differential work hardening behavior of AZ31 magnesium alloy under biaxial stress state. 展开更多

As the increasing demand for mobile communications and the shrinking of the coverage of cells, handover mechanism will play an important role in future wireless networks to provide users with seamless mobile communication services. In order to guarantee the user experience, the handover decision should be made timely and reasonably. To achieve this goal, this paper presents a hybrid handover forecasting mechanism, which contains long-term and short-term forecasting models. The proposed mechanism could cooperate with the standard mechanisms, and improve the performance of standard handover decision mechanisms. Since most of the parameters involved are imprecise, fuzzy forecasting model is applied for dealing with predictions of them. The numerical results indicate that the mechanism could significantly decrease the rate of ping-pong handover and the rate of handover failure. 展开更多

This study conducts a systematic literature review(SLR)of blockchain consensus mechanisms,an essential protocols that maintain the integrity,reliability,and decentralization of distributed ledger networks.The aim is to comprehensively investigate prominent mechanisms’security features and vulnerabilities,emphasizing their security considerations,applications,challenges,and future directions.The existing literature offers valuable insights into various consensus mechanisms’strengths,limitations,and security vulnerabilities and their real-world applications.However,there remains a gap in synthesizing and analyzing this knowledge systematically.Addressing this gap would facilitate a structured approach to understanding consensus mechanisms’security and vulnerabilities comprehensively.The study adheres to Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses(PRISMA)guidelines and computer science standards and reviewed 3749 research papers from 2016 to 2024,excluding grey literature,resulting in 290 articles for descriptive analysis.The research highlights an increased focus on blockchain consensus security,energy efficiency,and hybrid mechanisms within 60%of research papers post-2019,identifying gaps in scalability,privacy,and interoperability for future exploration.By synthesizing the existing research and identifying the key trends,this SLR contributes to advancing the understanding of blockchain consensus mechanisms’security and guiding future research and structured innovation in blockchain systems and applications. 展开更多

Influence of impact energy on work hardening ability of austenitic manganese steel and its mechanism

To further understand the hardening mechanism of austenitic manganese steel under actual working conditions, the work hardening ability was studied and the microstructures of austenitic manganese steel were observed under different impact energies. The work hardening mechanism was also analyzed. The results show that the best strain hardening effect could be received only when the impact energy reaches or exceeds the critical impact energy. The microstructural observations reveal that dislocations, stacking faults and twins increase with raising impact energy of the tested specimens. The hardening mechanism changes at different hardening degrees. It is mainly dislocation and slip hardening below the critical impact energy, but it changes to the twinning hardening mechanism when the impact energy is above the critical impact energy. 展开更多

Objective:To explore the targels and molecular mechanism of Gancao Yangyin Decoction(甘草养阴汤,GCYYD)based on network pharmacology.Methods:The effective chemical components of 7 kinds of Chinese materia medica in GCYYD and their relevant targets were obtai ned through the traditional Chinese medicine systems pharmacology database and analysis platform(TCMSP)and the encyelopedia of traditional Chinese medicine(ETCM).The aging-related targets were obtained through GeneCards database.The targets related to the effective chemical components were mapped with the aging-related targets,and the gene targets of GCY YD for intervening in aging were obtained.The protein interaction network diagram of GCY YD interfering with aging was drawn through String database and Cytoscape 3.7.1 software,and the core target genes were screened.The potential targets obtained were analyzed by gene ontology(GO)biological function enrichment analysis and kyoto encyelopedia of genes and genomes(KEGG)pathway enrichment analysis.Results:Totally 130 effective chemical components of the 7 kinds of Chinese materia medica of GCYYD and 276 related targets were obtained from TCMSP and ETCM databases.Totally 216 aging-related targets were obtained through GeneCards database.There were 63 target genes intervening in aging in GCYYD,with core target genes ALB,AKTI,TNF,L 6,MMP-3,VEGFA,CASP5,etc.Through biological function and signaling pathway enrichment analyses for the target genes with R software,147 KEGG signaling pathways were found,mainly related to age-RAGE signaling pathway in diabetic complications,proteoglycans in cancer,fluid shear stress and atherosclero-sis,HIF-1 signaling pathway,human cytomegalovirus infection,celluar senescence,prostate cancer,bladder cancer,elte.Conclusion:GCYYD can intervene in aging through"multicomponents-mulitargets-multipath-ways",which lays foundation for further experimental research. 展开更多

The 8- burst stimulation (TBS) can be used as an LTP induction protocol in some experiments, but it has not been used in the models related to memory. In this work, an improved Camperi-Wang (C-W) model with the Ca2+ subsystem-induced bistability is adopted, and the TBS is simulated to be the initial stimuli of this model. With the evolution of the effects of the stimuli properties such as the cycle, the amplitude, and the duty ration on the memory mechanism of this model, the TBS can be adopted to activate working memory models and produce long-term memory. The study helps to propose the relationship between working memory and long-term memory, which lays a theoretical basis for the study of the neural mechanism of long-term memory. 展开更多

The results showed that, the primary and secondary gamma' particles maintain good thermal stability at 650 and 700 degreesC with aging time up to 3000 h, while the tertiary gamma' is apparently dependent on aging temperature and time. The tertiary gamma' particles undergo a procedure of coarsening, dissolution and eventually complete disappearance with the increasing of aging time and temperature. They exhibit unusual high sensibility upon aging temperature, which is attributed to the lattice misfit between the gamma' precipitates and the matrix in the alloy. The grain boundary phase M23C6 remains stable without forming of sigma phase even with aging time up to 3000 h at 700 degreesC. Microhardness decreases apparently with increasing aging time and aging temperature. Theoretical analysis based on dislocation mechanism indicates that the change of microhardness should be attributed to the evolution of the tertiary gamma' during aging. 展开更多
