The results show that it is possible to selectively leach zinc from the ores by heap leaching. The zinc concentration of leach solution in the first leaching cycle is 32.57 g/L, and in the sixteenth cycle the zinc concentration is 8.27g/L after solvent extraction. The leaching solution is subjected to solvent extraction, scrubbing and selective stripping for enrichment of zinc and removal of impurities. The pregnant zinc sulfate solution produced from the stripping cycle is suitable for zinc electrowinning. Extra-pure zinc metal was obtained in the electrowinning test under conventional conditions.展开更多

[ Method] Roots of herba violae were respectively crushed by using liquid nitrogen grinding method and low-temperature sectioning method to extract RNA. The extraction effects of these two methods were compared based on detec- tion of RNA concentration, purity and integrity and amplification of GAPDH gene by RT-PCR. [Result] The concentration of RNA extracted by liquid nitrogen grinding method and low-temperature sectioning method was 1.21 and 3.57 p^g/~, respectively. Both RNA extracted by these two methods showed two distinct bands after agarose gel electrophoresis. The ratio of brightness of the 28S rRNA to the 18S rRNA bands was greater than 1. PCR amplification showed that the length of GAPDH gene was about 230 bp, which was consistent with the expected result. [ Conclusion ] The experimental results indicated that using low-tempera ture sectioning method to crush the roots of herba violae can meet the needs of most molecular biological experiments including gene cloning and expression analysis, which is an effective and simple method for extracting RNA from plant roots.展开更多

Patient selection for transanal specimen extraction and intracorporeal anastomosis was made on the basis of tumor size and distance of rectal lesions from the anal verge. Demographic data, operative parameters, and postoperative outcomes were assessed.RESULTS: None of the patients was converted to laparotomy. Respectively, there were 16 cases in the low anastomosis and five in the ultralow anastomosis groups. Mean age of the patients was 45.4 years, and mean body mass index was 23.1 kg/m2. Mean distance of the lower edge of the lesion from the anal verge was 8.3 cm. Mean operating time was 132 min, and mean intraoperative blood loss was 84 mL. According to the principle of rectal cancer surgery, we performed D2 lymph node dissection in 13 cases and D3 in eight. Mean lymph nodes harvest was 17.8, and the number of positive lymph nodes was 3.4. Median hospital stay was 6.7 d. No serious postoperative complication occurred except for one anastomotic leakage. All patients remained disease free. Mean Wexner score was 3.7 at 11 mo after the operation.CONCLUSION: Transanal NOSE for total laparoscopic low/ultralow anterior resection is feasible, safe and oncologically sound. Further studies with long-term outcomes are needed to explore its potential advantages.展开更多

METHODS: Eighty-four rabbits were randomly divided into control and experimental group, 42 rabbits in each group. Extra capsular lens extraction was done on unilateral eye in each rabbit. LMWH was perfused into anterior chamber by the concentration of 50U/mL at the end of operation in experimental group. The degrees of corneal edema, aqueous flare and fibrin were evaluated with slit lamp microscope in postoperative day 1, 3, 6, 15, 30, 45 and 60, respectively. Six eyes of each group were at each time point. Contents of bFGF in aqueous humor were determined by ELISA after animals were killed. Another six eyes were used for determining the base line level of bFGF in aqueous humor. RESULTS: The degrees of corneal edema, aqueous flare and fibrin in experimental group were significantly lighter than those in control group (p<0.01) on postoperative day 1, 3 and 6, respectively. No difference was showed between the two groups at other point time. Contents of bFGF in aqueous humor increased at the same time. bFGF content was reached peal on postoperative day 1 in experimental group, while on postoperative day 6 in control group. Contents of bFGF in the two groups declined slowly after reaching peak. The bFGF content in control group were significantly higher than that in experimental group 1-30 days after surgery (p<0.05). No significant differences were shown between the two groups on postoperative day 45 and 60, respectively. CONCLUSION: Perfusion with LMWH by the concentration of 50U/mL can significantly reduce anterior chamber inflammation after extra capsular lens extraction in rabbits, which may be related to down regulation of bFGF content in aqueous humor.展开更多

In general, impacted tooth extraction involves sectioning the tooth’s crown and roots. In order to divide the impacted tooth so that it can be extracted, high-speed air turbine drills are frequently used. However, complications related to air turbine drills may occur. In this report, we propose an alternative tooth sectioning method that obviates the need for air turbine drill use by using a low-speed straight handpiece and carbide bur. A 21-year-old female patient presented to the institute’s dental hospital complaining of symptoms localized to the left lower third molar tooth that were suggestive of impaction. After physical examination, tooth extraction of the impacted left lower third molar was proposed and the patient consented to the procedure. The crown was divided using a conventional straight low-speed handpiece and carbide bur. This carbide bur can easily cut through the enamel of crown. On post-operative day number five, suture was removed and the wound was extremely clear. This technique could minimise intra-operative time and reduce the morbidity associated with air turbine drill assisted lower third molar extraction.展开更多

文摘The high-value utilization of low-rank coal would allow for expanding energy sources, improving energy efficiencies, and alleviating environmental issues. In order to use low-rank coal effectively, the hypercoals(HPCs)were co-extracted from two types of low-rank coal and biomass via N-methyl-2-purrolidinone(NMP)under mild conditions. The structures of the HPCs and residues were characterized by proximate and ultimate analysis,Raman spectra, and Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)spectra.The carbon structure changes within the raw coals and HPCs were discussed. The individual thermal dissolution of Xibu(XB)coal,Guandi(GD)coal, and the biomass demonstrated that the biomass provided the lowest thermal dissolution yield Y1 and the highest thermal soluble yield Y2 at 280℃,and the ash content of three HPCs decreased as the extraction temperature rose.Co-thermal extractions in NMP at various coal/biomass mass ratios were performed, demonstrating a positive synergic effect for Y2 in the whole coal/biomass mass ratios. The maximum value of Y2 was 52.25wt% for XB coal obtained with a XB coal/biomass of 50wt% biomass. The maximum value of Y2 was 50.77wt% for GD coal obtained with a GD coal/biomass of 1:4.The difference for the optimal coal/biomass mass ratios between XB and GD coals could be attributed to the different co-extraction mechanisms for this two type coals.
文摘The recovery of zinc from low-grade zinc oxide ores with solvent extraction-electrowinning technique was investigated by using D2EHPA as extractant and 260 # kerosene as diluent. Extra-pure zinc metal was obtained in the electrowinning test under conventional conditions.
文摘This review summarized the valuable works on the extraction technologies using pure liquefied dimethyl ether(DME)as the organic solvent.DME is a colorless gas with a slight ether-like fragrance at room temperature and pressure.Due to some special properties, such as the strong ability for extracting organic compounds and water, high extraction rate, cheap price, low extraction temperature, and energy consumption, environmental friend-liness,safety,and good compressibility, the application of liquefied DME to the extraction process shows many advantages and has strong potential market competitiveness. On the other hand, the drawbacks of liquefied DME extraction technology were also revealed, mainly on fire hazards, solvent loss, and lack of large-scale application.Furthermore, the previous studies on the application of liquefied DME extraction technology were divided into three parts based on the extracts(water,lipid/oil,and specific ingredients)and listed one by one.The research of the liquefied DME extraction process is still in development. In the future,it is expected that this technology can be continuously improved and optimized in both lab and industrial scales, together with the extension of its application range to more various natural resources.

文摘[ Objective ] This study aimed to investigate the optimal method for extracting RNA from roots of medicinal plant herba violae by comparing the effects of liquid nitrogen grinding method and low-temperature sectioning method on RNA extraction. [ Conclusion ] The experimental results indicated that using low-tempera ture sectioning method to crush the roots of herba violae can meet the needs of most molecular biological experiments including gene cloning and expression analysis, which is an effective and simple method for extracting RNA from plant roots.
文摘AIM: To investigate whether transanal natural orifice specimen extraction (NOSE) is a better technique for rectal cancer resection.METHODS: A prospectively designed database of a consecutive series of patients undergoing laparoscopic low anterior resection for rectal cancer with various tumor-node-metastasis classi?cations from March 2011 to February 2012 at the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-Sen University was analyzed. Further studies with long-term outcomes are needed to explore its potential advantages.

文摘AIM: To observe the changes of basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) content in anterior chamber before and after extra capsular lens extraction for investigating the mechanism of low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) inhibiting anterior chamber inflammation. CONCLUSION: Perfusion with LMWH by the concentration of 50U/mL can significantly reduce anterior chamber inflammation after extra capsular lens extraction in rabbits, which may be related to down regulation of bFGF content in aqueous humor.
文摘Extraction of the lower third molar is one of the most common procedures performed in oral surgery. This technique could minimise intra-operative time and reduce the morbidity associated with air turbine drill assisted lower third molar extraction.

文摘This paper takes Zhaozhuang mine in Shanxi province as an example to study the technology of hydraulic reaming drill hole for improving the gas extraction. The influence of the physical properties of coal seam on the hydraulic reaming drill holes and the draining of coal mine gas were analyzed and discussed for different coal structure areas, and the following conclusions were made.Hydraulic drill hole reaming has had a positive impact in Zhaozhuang Mine, and can improve the efficiency of gas extraction to different degrees. The water jet pressure used in hydraulic drill hole reaming mainly depends on the structure of the coal. When the coal seam basically becomes integrated, the critical water jet pressure increases, the discharge becomes relatively easy to achieve, the blocking effect on the gas extraction decreases, and the gas extraction significantly increases after the reaming process. When the coal seam is broken, the critical water jet pressure decreases, the discharge becomes difficult to achieve, the blocking effect on the gas extraction becomes obvious, and the gas extraction changes slightly after reaming.

文摘The low temperature coal tar(CT)is taken as the raw material, and the extraction and column chromatography are used for detailed and accurate characterization in this paper. The n-heptane soluble fraction(CT-HS)and insoluble fraction(CT-HI)were obtained by n-heptane Soxhlet extraction. The extraction rate of CT-HS reached 92.79%(mass),which indicated that there are few heavy compounds in it.Further, different solvents(methylbenzene, benzene, ethyl acetate,methylbenzene-ethanol)were used to elute CT-HS by chromatographic column to obtain five fractions(saturates, aromatics, heteroatoms, phenolics and resins, named CT-SA,CT-AR,CT-HE,CT-PH,CT-RE,respectively).The yields of CTSA,CT-AR,CT-HE,CT-PH,CT-RE are 42.12%,10.43%,2.19%,9.50%and 6.63%(mass),respectively.Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry analysis of eluting components show that alkanes are the main components in CT,followed by polycyclic aromatics, and the corresponding fractions are CT-SA and CT-AR,respectively.The relative content of aliphatics in CT-SA is 76.93%,and the relative content of aromatics in CT-AR is 75.05%.This separation technology effectively separates and enriches different components in CT,and the activation energy required for the pyrolysis process of a single eluting fraction is lower than that of CT,which is expected to provide an important reference for the separation, analysis and conversion of complex oil products such as coal-oil co-processing products, coal tar and other complex heavy carbon oil products.

文摘[Objectives]To establish a non-toxic and efficient method for extracting DNA and total RNA from peanuts and laying a solid foundation for the molecular biology study of peanuts.[Methods]Based on the principle and method of purifying nucleic acids by silica gel adsorption at high salt and low pH condition,a non-toxic and efficient method to extract peanut DNA and total RNA using cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB)extraction solution was designed. The quality and purity of nucleic acids were detected by agarose gel electrophoresis and nucleic acids protein analyzer, respectively. The quality of DNA was further verified by enzyme digestion and PCR amplification using molecular marker techniques. The quality of total RNA was further verified by reverse transcription(RT)-PCR of actin gene and cDNA-SCoT gene differential display technique.[Results]The agarose gel electrophoresis test showed that the peanut DNA extracted by a low-toxic and effective method is free of contamination and degradation.Through the detection by the nucleic acid protein analyzer, the DNA concentration,yield,A260/A280 and A260/A230 of 5 peanut varieties were 419.6-498.2 ng/μL,20.98-24.91μg/g,1.89-1.96 and 2.03-2.28,respectively.The DNA was of high quality and can be completely digested by EcoRI restriction enzymes, and also can be used for SCoT and SRAP molecular marker technology analysis. The RNA extracted from different tissues of peanuts showed no visible DNA bands by non-denaturing agarose gel electrophoresis. The separated 28S bands were brighter than 18S.The ratio of A260/A280 and A260/A230 showed that the RNA quality was good and can be used for reverse transcription,RT-PCR of actin gene and amplification of cDNA-SCoT gene differential display technique.[Conclusions]This experiment established a low-toxic and effective method for extracting DNA and total RNA from peanuts.Compared with traditional methods, this method is more time-saving and cheaper than commercial kits. The most important point is that this method does not use toxic reagents such as phenol, chloroform and isopropanol. Thus,it is expected to be widely applied in molecular biology research.
