China-made 5-axis simultaneous contouring CNC machine tool and domestically developed industrial computer-aided manufacture (CAM) technology were used for full crown fabrication and measurement of crown accuracy, with an attempt to establish an open CAM system for dental processing and to promote the introduction of domestic dental computer-aided design (CAD)/CAM system. Commercially available scanning equipment was used to make a basic digital tooth model after preparation of crown, and CAD software that comes with the scanning device was employed to design the crown by using domestic industrial CAM software to process the crown data in order to generate a solid model for machining purpose, and then China-made 5-axis simultaneous contouring CNC machine tool was used to complete machining of the whole crown and the internal accuracy of the crown internal was measured by using 3D-MicroCT. The results showed that China-made 5-axis simultaneous contouring CNC machine tool in combination with domestic industrial CAM technology can be used for crown making and the crown was well positioned in die. The internal accuracy was successfully measured by using 3D-MicroCT. It is concluded that an open CAM system for den-tistry on the basis of China-made 5-axis simultaneous contouring CNC machine tool and domestic industrial CAM software has been established, and development of the system will promote the introduction of domestically-produced dental CAD/CAM system. 展开更多

Oriented to CAD/CAM seamless integration, this paper presents an idea for synthetically considering the qualitative history model, which represents the whole course of modeling, and the quantitative geometry model, which contains the extended Brep model, CSG and feature pedigree. History model building captures in background the dynamic interactive definition of engineering requirement and then explicitly conveys the original intention to successive application layers, which is conductive to the decision support of manufacturing planning in not only automatic geometry re constructing but also machining set up. G DSG theory as an earlier achievement is applied to generate the topology independent generalized mid model as an input to manufacturing planning, which is therefore simplified and its accuracy is simultaneously improved. Manufacturing planning lays emphasis on optimizing the mapping in both geometry and function from part itself to detail machining scheme. Comparatively, process planning pays more attention to the mapping to those items like tool, fixture, etc. Theoretically, such an idea is also beneficial to realizing the parametric NC machining trajectory generation and maintaining its dynamic consistency with the update of the design model.[WT5”HZ] 展开更多

The plaque was fabricated to honour the memory of the 14 women massacred at L'Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal. This plaque is the result of a project partnership between the Faculties of Engineering and Fine Arts, and was sponsored by the Office of the Vice-President Academic and Provost. An art design was selected through a contest coordinated by the Visual Arts Departmment. The selected art design was then turned over to the Mechanical Engineering Department to be converted to a 3-dimensional (3D) solid model and then eventually fabricated on a computer numerical control (CNC) milling machine. This paper describes the design and evaluation of a user interface for a remotely supervised autonomous agricultural sprayer. The interface was designed to help the remote supervisor to instruct the autonomous sprayer to commence operation, monitor the status of the sprayer and its operation in the field, and intervene when needed (i.e., to stop or shut down). Design principles and guidelines were carefully selected to help develop a human-centered automation interface. Evaluation of the interface using a combination of heuristic, cognitive walkthrough, and user testing techniques revealed several strengths of the design as well as areas that needed further improvement. Overall, this paper provides guidelines that will assist other researchers to develop an ergonomic user interface for a fully autonomous agricultural machine. 展开更多

This paper presents a method for measurement of deviation of the real gear tooth surface from the theoretical one with a coordinate measurement machine and compensation of repeatable parts. By investigation of characteristics of distortion of the gear tooth surface along the circle direction, the deviation is derived from distortion, and the definition of deviation with the geometrical invariability is proposed. Then the approach for determination of the location and orientation of the gear with respect to the coordinate measurement machine and the measurement way are developed. The deviation is represented with a difference surface, and an algorithm for derivation of parameters of global form deviations from the discrete points has been provided. 基于eHMI的车外人机交互信任影响因素研究

目的更好地发挥车外人机交互界面(eHMI)的潜在优势,研究车外人机交互过程中的信任影响机制。方法首先基于自动化信任理论,提出感知可靠性、感知透明度、感知熟悉度、感知车辆性能、感知品牌信誉和感知主观倾向等6个车外人机交互信任影... 目的更好地发挥车外人机交互界面(eHMI)的潜在优势,研究车外人机交互过程中的信任影响机制。方法首先基于自动化信任理论,提出感知可靠性、感知透明度、感知熟悉度、感知车辆性能、感知品牌信誉和感知主观倾向等6个车外人机交互信任影响因素,然后使用结构方程模型的方法对305名被调查者进行数据分析,由此建立车外人机交互信任影响因素的理论模型。结果行人通过对eHMI信号感知而形成的信任能够影响对自动驾驶汽车的信任,行人对eHMI的信任一定程度上转移成为行人对车辆的信任,eHMI的辅助作用得到体现。强调了eHMI设计中感知可靠性的重要性,这能够被熟悉度、透明度和品牌信誉所影响。同时,行人的主观倾向和对车辆性能的感知也是影响信任水平的重要因素。结论研究结果为车外人机交互信任对于自动驾驶汽车在未来道路上使用的重要性提供了证据,同时也为eHMI的设计提供了参考和建议。 展开更多

目的提出一种儿童带环丝圈式间隙保持器的椅旁数字化设计与制作方法,并初步验证其临床可行性。方法选取10例因乳牙早失需要进行间隙保持的患儿为研究对象,采集患儿口内扫描数据建立缺牙数字模型,使用自主研发的儿童带环丝圈式间隙保持... 目的提出一种儿童带环丝圈式间隙保持器的椅旁数字化设计与制作方法,并初步验证其临床可行性。方法选取10例因乳牙早失需要进行间隙保持的患儿为研究对象,采集患儿口内扫描数据建立缺牙数字模型,使用自主研发的儿童带环丝圈式间隙保持器设计软件,完成个性化带环与丝圈结构的快速设计,生成一体化带环丝圈式间隙保持器的数字模型。分别采用椅旁金属数控切削工艺(试验组)和技工室金属3D打印工艺(对照组)制作间隙保持器。对保持器进行模型试戴,邀请儿童口腔高年资专家采用视觉模拟评分法(VAS)从间隙保持器的密合度、就位稳定性两个方面进行评价,并进行统计学分析。结果试验组10例间隙保持器的设计及制作总时间均小于1 h。统计分析结果表明,2组间隙保持器均满足临床使用需求,试验组间隙保持器的密合度、稳定性优于对照组。结论本研究提出的儿童带环丝圈式间隙保持器的椅旁数字化设计与制作方法,可实现初次就诊当日佩戴间隙保持器,临床可行性好,具有良好的临床应用潜力。 展开更多
