Applying man-machine-environment system engineering(MMESE)in vessels is a method to improve the effectiveness of the interaction between equipment, environment, and humans for the purpose of advancing operating efficiency, performance, safety, and habitability of a vessel and its subsystems. In the following research, the life cycle of vessels was divided into 9 phases, and 15 research subjects were also identified from among these phases. The 15 subjects were systemized, and then the man-machine-environment engineering system application model for vessels was developed using the ICAM definition method 0 (IDEF0), which is a systematical modeling method. This system model bridges the gap between the data and information flow of every two associated subjects with the major basic research methods and approaches included, which brings the formerly relatively independent subjects together as a whole. The application of this systematic model should facilitate the application of man-machine-environment system engineering in vessels, especially at the conceptual and embodiment design phases. The managers and designers can deal with detailed tasks quickly and efficiently while reducing repetitive work. 展开更多

This is mainly because humans may be overtaken by machines in intelligence through which humans gain dominance over all other natural objects. On the ethical thinking of the man-machine relationship, an idea is to be inclined to do subtraction rather than addition. Specifically, we should give priority to and focus on limiting the means and abilities of intelligent machines rather than how to cultivate and set the value judgments of their friendliness. In other words, we should concentrate on how to limit the development of intelligent machines to specialization and miniaturization, especially keeping them within the scope of non-violence. 展开更多

为分析水下人-机协同搜救作业人因可靠性并识别其关键影响因素,根据水下搜救训练实际和相关研究结论提取人因可靠性影响因素;建立人因可靠性影响因素体系,利用解释结构模型定性分析各影响因素间相关关系,将建立的各影响因素的解释结构... 为分析水下人-机协同搜救作业人因可靠性并识别其关键影响因素,根据水下搜救训练实际和相关研究结论提取人因可靠性影响因素;建立人因可靠性影响因素体系,利用解释结构模型定性分析各影响因素间相关关系,将建立的各影响因素的解释结构模型转换为贝叶斯网络拓扑结构,分别构建潜水员作业、无人遥控潜水器(ROV)作业、人-机协同作业人因可靠性分析贝叶斯网络;通过对3类贝叶斯网络进行推理,揭示影响人因可靠性的关键因素及其依赖关系,并定量分析3种作业模式下的人因可靠性变化。结果表明:人-机协同搜救作业中“误解意图”“通信不畅”“信息不对称”“作业精度不足”“丧失救助能力”等影响因素起到关键作用;当上述因素得到较好控制时,人-机协同搜救作业的人因可靠性将会表现出优于单纯的ROV或潜水员独立施救的效能。研究结果可为水下搜救作业人因可靠性分析与提升提供参考。 展开更多

Selecting the optimal speed for dynamic obstacle avoidance in complex man–machine environments is a challenging problem for mobile robots inspecting hazardous gases.Consideration of personal space is important,especially in a relatively narrow man–machine dynamic environments such as warehouses and laboratories.In this study,human and robot behaviors in man–machine environments are analyzed,and a man–machine social force model is established to study the robot obstacle avoidance speed.Four typical man–machine behavior patterns are investigated to design the robot behavior strategy.Based on the social force model and man–machine behavior patterns,the fuzzy-PID trajectory tracking control method and the autonomous obstacle avoidance behavior strategy of the mobile robot in inspecting hazardous gases in a relatively narrow man–machine dynamic environment are proposed to determine the optimal robot speed for obstacle avoidance.The simulation analysis results show that compared with the traditional PID control method,the proposed controller has a position error of less than 0.098 m,an angle error of less than 0.088 rad,a smaller steady-state error,and a shorter convergence time.The crossing and encountering pattern experiment results show that the proposed behavior strategy ensures that the robot maintains a safe distance from humans while performing trajectory tracking.This research proposes a combination autonomous behavior strategy for mobile robots inspecting hazardous gases,ensuring that the robot maintains the optimal speed to achieve dynamic obstacle avoidance,reducing human anxiety and increasing comfort in a relatively narrow man–machine environment. 展开更多

目的探索AI透明度和可靠性对人-AI协同中人的决策行为及信任的影响。方法开展一项人-AI协同收入预测实验,实验采用双因素混合设计,其中AI透明度(低、中、高)为组间变量,AI可靠性(60%、75%、90%)为组内变量,共有54名受试者(男、女各27人... 目的探索AI透明度和可靠性对人-AI协同中人的决策行为及信任的影响。方法开展一项人-AI协同收入预测实验,实验采用双因素混合设计,其中AI透明度(低、中、高)为组间变量,AI可靠性(60%、75%、90%)为组内变量,共有54名受试者(男、女各27人)参与实验。实验收集了人的决策类型(四种情况:正确接受、错误接受、正确拒绝、错误拒绝)、决策时间、信任、决策正确率和AI依从率数据。结果当AI可靠性较高(75%和90%)时,透明度对人的决策影响不显著;当AI可靠性较低(60%)时,更高的透明度提高了人对AI的依从率。只有在AI给出正确建议时依从率才会增加,AI出错时的依从率(即过度依赖)不受透明度影响。此外,透明度对正确拒绝决策类型没有显著影响。结论透明度有助于提高人对AI的正确依赖,且透明度的增加对人识别AI错误的能力并没有显著的提高作用。 展开更多

However, only few com- prehensive reviews have summarized the ongoing efforts of computational intelligence in machinery condition moni- toring and fault diagnosis. The recent research and devel- opment of computational intelligence techniques in fault diagnosis, prediction and optimal sensor placement are reviewed. The advantages and limitations of computational intelligence techniques in practical applications are dis- cussed. The characteristics of different algorithms are compared, and application situations of these methods are summarized. Computational intelligence methods need to be further studied in deep understanding algorithm mech- anism, improving algorithm efficiency and enhancing engineering application. CENELEC 50128 strongly recommends the utilization of finite state machines during system modelling stage and formal proof methods during the verifi- cation and testing stages of control algorithms. Due to the high importance of interlocking table at the design state of a sig- nalization system, the modelling and verification of inter- locking tables are examined in this work. For this purpose, abstract state machines are used as a modelling tool. The developed models have been performed in a generalized structure such that the model control can be done automatically for the interlocking systems. In this study, NuSMV is used at the verification state. Also, the consistency of the developed models has been supervised through fault injection. A system that allows computer interaction by disabled people with very low mobility and who cannot use the standard procedure based on keyboard and mouse is presented. The development device uses the patient’s voluntary biomechanical signals, specifically, winks—which constitute an ability that generally remains in this kind of patients—, as interface to control the computer. A prototype based on robust and low-cost elements has been built and its performance has been validated through real trials by 16 users without previous training. The system can be optimized after a learning period in order to be adapted to every user. Also, good results were obtained in a subjective satisfaction survey that was completed by the users after carrying out the test trials. 展开更多
